Its been a year and a half,,
Last I’ve been on here I was in the midst of quarantine, working at an art studio and studying classical art and now I am doing the bare minimum to pass so uh yeah thats fun.. Uhm I adopted 3 cats and have spent my time bettering my mental health rather than burying myself into classwork. This will be my last post here since I’ve moved on from this account. Goodbye and have fun <3

My body refuses to sleep and I can’t sit through movies anymore. Sleep and movies were the only two things I enjoyed before this.

I had many plans at the beginning of summer to start some online courses, start working at the art studio again, and work on my art and I can only say that I’ve accomplished two of those things.
The first being that I’m back at the studio working on projects again; not really in person but at home for once. And the second that I’ve finally got time to practice my art skills.
Speaking of, here’s some contour practice I’ve been doing.

some nights you just got to read a book all through the night until you hear birds chirp in the distance signaling the early morning; tonight’s company was Smith of Wooten Major and Farmer Giles of Ham by J.R.R Tolkien
what was your book of choice?

The Last Black Man In San Francisco (2019) directed by Joe Talbot.
“Let us all really look at Jimmie Fails IV. Self-taught historian. Carpenter. Gentle, loving man. A true survivor. Jimmie! How many places have you lived? And if they kicked you out tomorrow, you would still be all those things! You exist beyond these walls, you extend beyond your forefathers! You are more than this house! Jimmie, you are not these walls! You're not these floors, you're not this ceiling!”

Ex Machina
This is the best sci-fi movie i’ve watched in a while. A24 really keeps outdoing themselves. Ex Machina is about a man named nathan who invents a robot named ava. he brings caleb, a coder, to his secluded mountain home to test if Ava has consciousness. When Caleb begins his sessions with Ava, he soon realizes that not everything at the house is as normal as it seems. As the movie progresses, it slowly gets more and more spooky. For such a small cast, this movie does a great job of keeping you interested. This movie fascinated me. The idea of A.I that looked like a human, and the thought of what that A.I would do is extremely interesting. However, i’m not sure that everyone would like this movie. If you are not a sci-fi fan, or if you don’t like to think while watching a movie, this is not for you.
overall: 9.4/10 popcorns

Chaotic academia is
1.) Intense obsessions that last maybe two weeks but consume your soul
2.) Spacing out in class but loving to learn
3.) Swearing and slang while discussing deep academic topics
