in light of police across the country cracking down on pro palestine protests with brutal force, it feels like a great time to remind everyone to shut the fuck up around cops. don't make small talk, dont act friendly, don't fucking engage with them!! if you are arrested DO NOT speak without a lawyer present. protest organizers, get into contact with local pro bono lawyers who can be there for your arrested comrades. no matter what, if cops are there, shut the fuck up unless you are actively doing a protest chant. dont tell cops why you were there, dont tell them if you're affiliated with the school you may be protesting at, dont tell them if you came there with anyone, dont tell them anything!!!

Imma be that guy:

I’m not talking about the gameplay quality, or even the character as a memorable person, cause I think you’re right on that.

But in the story, isn’t that the point? He just appears to be some guy. He doesn’t draw suspicion with his look or his attitude, he’s just another face in the crowd (compared to say, Ezio who I LOVE but his outfit is about as discrete as a bomb going off).

Again, gameplay isn’t great (to me) and is super inconsistent with that stuff (he regularly apparently gets into car chases as hacks traffic barriers on the cops) but that’s not who the character is meant to be right?

I think Ubisoft fucked him up. I think maybe a hitman with hacking (focus on stealth and infiltration with disguises) would have worked better gameplay wise, but this design, I thought, was intentionally not attention grabbing.

Again, thst doesn’t have a good track record in making a game, and I ain’t excusing it, but I think it’s Ubisoft fucking up his story with that in mind than the character being bad.

Or if they wanted the crazy go wild guy he should have looked it. This cake and eating it too stuff ain’t working.

every time I remember "Aiden Pearce's Iconic Cap" I lose my shit. Literally the most boring nothing just-a-guy video game protagonists ever designed, painfully generic even for an ubisoft protagonist, and the hat is literally just a black baseball cap
