This is apparently a hotter take than I thought but: hating on lawyers as a profession, calling them inherently dishonest etc. is politically reactionary. It discourages defendants from seeking legal counsel, puts forth the idea that it’s inherently suspicious to insist on seeing a lawyer before you answer police questioning (your constitutional right!) etc. which ultimately just benefits the state in making it easier for them to convict you. This is one of those things that “progressives” who were raised conservative often don’t realize is one of the parts of their parents’ worldview they should question more, but they should. Not only are lawyers not The Problem with “our system,” but having someone who is educated in the law whose job is to represent your interests in court — getting one regardless of your ability to pay, even! — is in fact one of the best parts of it.

Yes of course! There's only 3 SMT games on the DS so this was quite easy to do! I love the series so I enjoyed making this

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor. This game is a Tactical RPG set in modern-day Tokyo and follows a highschool student and his friends, who fight outbreak of demons with some of them becoming their allies. They also get the ability to see a person's remaining lifespan and want to work to avoid as many deaths as possible. This game is quite colorful and it's the most similar in style to the Persona series. (Gamespot: 9/10)

2. Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey. This is my personal favorite on the system and it's also part of the core main SMT series, taking place between 3 and 4. The world on the near future is threatened by a supernatural global disaster storm coming from the Antarctica. You take the role of a high tech soldier sent by the UN to investigate and stop this before the world ends. First person RPG, multiple choice story, and awesome orchestral music. I recommend it. (Famitsu 36/40)

3. Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2. I admittedly haven't played this one yet, but it sure looks colorful and stylish! It tells the story of some students who enter a pact to summon demons and fight mysterious creatures to save Japan. The plot may unfold differently depending on the player's actions. It's been praised for the story and improvements over Devil Survivor 1, but criticized over It's high difficulty. (GameSpot 8.5/10)
