Tongue in cheek and trying not to laugh, he just nodded as the other spoke as if her words mattered to what he was planning on doing. “Would you listen to you?” He asked, turning his back on her and signalled for a refill on his fruit juice. “Nothin’ you’re saying is helpful, you’re just complaining.”

“You underestimate me, flip flops.” Luanna tsks as she shrugs his hands off of her shoulders and reaches for the cuff of his leather jacket. “Just follow my lead.” With that, she was practically dragging him to the theatre that was nearby, which had so sparked their conversation. Admittedly, she was a little apprehensive about the situation considering she normally snuck in using her abilities but she wouldn’t be able to do that with Yamaneko… So instead she continued walking past the front of the theatre and turned the corner, taking a moment to look at the time on her phone until the side door opened, movie goers exiting the theatre after watching whatever film they came to see. Immediately, she reached a hand out to hold the door open for an elderly couple, giving a polite smile, “here you go.” Lulu says kindly to them, getting thankful smiles in return. She watched them go with a smile on her face, hand still on the door until she reached her free hand over, smile still on her face, and grabbed Yamaneko roughly before shoving him inside the building and ducking inside with him.

She cleared her throat, fixing her hair and jacket before giving him a cheeky grin. “Easy peasy lemon squeezy.”

Yamaneko let himself be dragged by the woman who wasn’t much smaller than him, since he’d already challenged her to actually do the sneaking in. He didn’t expect them to get caught, after all it would have been an embarrassment to his entire reputation to be seen sneaking into a movie theatre. Especially to see a children's film, although he probably wouldn’t have gone to the theatre for any movie but a child’s film, since all other movies were pretty boring. Though, Cars 3 wasn’t exactly his cup of tea either. He followed her through the door and stood opposite her, mirroring Luanna’s grin when she showed it. “This was the easiest part. I’m only going to praise your skills if we get to the end of the movie and return home without one weird look. But, I won’t blame you if someone stops to see me since. Well. Look at me.” He joked and turned on his flip-flopped heel, heading forwards through the theatre without much care.

His childish behavior was common to her meaning she easily ignored it. However, the words that came after she could not ignore in spite of how much she wanted to. His talk was not wrong, Lola could not confidently disapprove any accusation about it. Lola straightened her posture then spoke.  ❛❛No. I have no reason to believe anyone under my supervision would be capable or willing to commit any form of financial fraud. It is very careless to throw around these accusations without proof. ❜❜

He watched Lola speak, biting on the end of his thumb to pay attention to her gestures and her words. He didn’t believe what she was saying, but he knew better than to let her know he might be planning something in the future. “It’s naive to think no one working for a marketing branch would be willing to partake in fraud.” He shrugged before spinning around on his chair once then rolling himself closer to Lola, getting close to her face. “Difficult to trust a pretty face these days.” He said before raising his hand, flicking her on the forehead and pushing his chair back.

“That’s not the point!” Luanna let out a heavy sigh, shaking her head as her arms folded over her chest almost childishly. She tilted her head to look over at the taller man with a look of disbelief, “it’s about the experience! It’s about going out into the world and treating yourself to watching a kickass film on a giant screen. Do you own a thirty-foot wide television screen that plays HD?” She didn’t bother waiting for an answer, “yeah, I didn’t think so, dude! And you just gotta be sneaky with the snacks, I haven’t gotten caught yet. You have to play it right.” Her eyebrow quirked upward a moment, “so what do you say? Wanna sneak into the next showing of Cars 3?”

He mimicked her stance by crossing his arms too and shifted his shoulders up and down as she spoke, taking the level of childishness up a notch. “Maybe I-” She cut him off before he could finish his sentence, which didn’t bother him much since it’d be pretty hypocritical of him considering he was often doing this to others anyway. He listened to what she had to say and loosened his arms to grab her shoulders gently. “Okay, miss oh-so-stealthy, let’s give it a try. If we get caught and you bail on me, my memory is real sharp.” Not that he wasn’t going to attempt to do exactly the same if they were, of course.

As soon as Lola started with the whole ‘the problem is’, he was quick to mimic everything she was saying with his hand (since his face was covered) like a five year old child before lifting his mask up and settling it on the back of his head. “Not hiding from anyone. But I did get a few tips about your branch, you know. I’m just here to scope things out before taking any action and have a lil chit-chat with you since you didn’t come across as that sort of person to me before.” He explained, swivelling his chair round once just for fun. “You got anythin' to say about that?”

“You seen how expensive those things are?” He shook his head at the thought of paying to go see a movie; everything from the ticket price to the food and beverages. Unbelievable. There was also the fact he had literally no time to go to the movies since he had to, you know, work and shit. “What difference does it make to watch at the cinema rather than home? You can’t even eat what you want at the movies because you’ll have some geezer straight up in your face or selling you out to the attendant. Next thing you know you’re being kicked out five minutes after you just spent $30 to get in. Now if that ain’t some absolute bullshit, I don’t know what is.”

He’d been wearing the mask all day, mostly out of habit since he’d been working right before he’d run into Lola. A job that had taken over three hours to complete and made him forget he was wearing the mask; her calling him out on it reminded him of it’s presence “What’s the problem?” He responded, trying to make it seem a purposeful wardrobe choice, before pulling out a seat and sitting on it backwards with his arms resting against the back. “I’ve been told I’m too handsome for the eyes, I don’t want to distract everyone while they’re working.”
