Pingxie Exchange: a fic & art exchange about the Wu Xie/Zhang Qiling pairing.
In this exchange, participants will be anonymously matched to create gifts for one another during a five week long creation period. The gifts will be revealed on August 17th: the day Wu Xie welcomed Xiaoge back after his 10-year-long absence behind the Bronze Gate.

You have another three days (until the 24th) to post any treats you may be creating. And if you haven't yet left a comment for your creator, please try to do so before the end of the anonymous period (ending on the 24th), if you can.

OK! Thank you all for your patience with approvals. Everyone either has a gift or has a creator with an accounted for extension, so we're all set and don't need any pinch hitters.
You have one week now until works are revealed on the 17th to do any editing or tweaking.
You also have two weeks until creators are revealed on the 24th to create treats! Feel free to browse the requests summary and see if anything strikes your fancy to create! ^_^ (For those who don't know, treats are extra gifts that you can create either for your recipient or for people other than your recipient.)
Reminder: Please do not post your works anywhere but the collection on AO3 or de-anon yourself or discuss the works you created until after the anonymous period is over (when creators are revealed on the 24th).

Assignments are due in about 9 1/2 hours as of my reblogging this post.
What time is that for me?
There may be a bit of wiggle-room on that depending on how early I do or don't wake up, but don't count on it. If you really aren't going to finish, just drop me an ask or an email to let me know how close you are and how much time you think you'll need and I'll be happy to discuss it.
(And don't panic if you don't have a gift yet tomorrow morning. I may not have approved it into the collection yet or your creator might have gotten an approved extension. Everyone WILL have a gift when the collection opens. Never fear! Also, please watch this space for pinch hits if they become necessary.)

You will have until a week after that when authors are revealed (on the 24th), to create treats if you want to. (...I mean, you can post them after the 24th too, but they will no longer be anonymous. ;D)
When posting your works, please make sure that you either do so by clicking the Fulfill button in your "My Assignments" screen:
Or by going to the AO3 collection page and clicking "post to collection":
Please double check that you are spelling the AO3 username of the intended recipient correctly when you post.
Also, please double check your recipient's DNWs before you post and make sure you have not included any of them in your work.
If you have not posted a work (or talked to me about an extension) by the deadline on the 10th, then your assignment will be defaulted and will go out for a pinch hit to insure that your recipient will get a gift.
You do not have to have signed up for the exchange to pick up a pinch hit! For anyone who missed signing up, this is a great way to get involved, if you'd still like to.
You can also still create treats if you didn't sign up.

Hi, everyone, my apologies but I just realized that in the process of trying to fix one setting in the collection a few weeks ago, I goofed up another one.
The collection was closed by accident. It IS now open again, so you should all be able to post things, main gifts and treats alike.

Matching went... surprisingly well. :D
I really didn't have to tweak anything. I did double-check all the matches by hand, but everything looks good, so... here we go! :D
Pingxie Exchange Assignments are out!
A few quick reminders:
Please make sure to read your recipient's sign-up thoroughly, especially fandoms, preferred media types (fanfic, fanart, fanvid), likes, and particularly DNWs. If they have linked to an extended letter elsewhere, please read that, as well.
If you have offered more than one canon or more than one media type, please make sure that what you decide to create matches what your recipient requested (i.e., you may have offered fanart and fanfic, but if they only requested fanart, then you have to create fanart).
If at any point you find yourself struggling or confused about something, please contact the mods sooner rather than later. The earlier we hear that you're having difficulty, the more likely we are to be able to help you. Even if you just need someone to bounce ideas off of, that can be arranged!
If you discover that you will be unable to complete your assignment by August 10th, please reach out to the mods as soon as you figure that out so that either an extension can be arranged or a pinch hitter can be found to pick up your assignment.
I will be opening the requests summary so that all requests are visible and anyone who is interested in treating can browse to their heart's content.

Different picture to get your attention. ;D
I am about to close sign-ups and start working on running matching. If you missed sign-ups and want to sign up, NOW IS THE TIME TO LET ME KNOW. Until matching is officially done and posted I can still add someone, but if last year is anything to go by, matching goes... pretty quickly. So let me know soon if you're still thinking about it.
That being said, for anyone who missed it, pinch hitting and treating is definitely still an option. You don't have to be signed up for that.
And if you pick up a pinch hit at any point, you will have the opportunity to present some requests in case anyone wants to treat you for being a pinch hitter. Just a thought. ^_^
