hello. i am once again mixing epic the musical with the percy jackson show🦦 (based on @/Pillow-Arty's art on tiktok)

lots of thoughts about this one. the history book on the shelf is always repeating itseeeeelf 🗣️🗣️

SO. I think Annabeth and Epic!Odysseus are both very different and very similar. Athena expects a lot from both of them, and they disappoint her in different ways.

In the show Annabeth disappoints Athena by letting things happen, she expects her to always take leadership and be perfect while also not interacting with her at all.

In epic the musical, Odysseus disappoints Athena for being emotional, for not doing enough and for doing too little. She expects him to be the perfect general while warning him of mistakes. When Athena notices he can't be what she wants, she leaves.

However I don't believe Odysseus resents Athena after everything. So he sees Annabeth's situation without anger. He can only tell her his experience and comfort Annabeth in the shared feelings.
