DAY 7: ZOMBIE of Faketober. This one was actually tricky but I’m glad how it came out, I wanted to do more of a gag design. Zomburrow, Bug/Ground type, are actually mounds of soil piloted by worms. Despite their poor vision, they love to chase things and wrap around them, but they move very slow.

This is a Steven universe and Pokemon crossover project. The idea is to make the creatures, gems, and monsters from SU into pokemon, which yes includes giving the original creature a pokemon dex entry as if it were a pokemon. This project follows the themes of pokemon and guidelines for how evolutions and design looks. This project isn’t to design “better’ pokemon then the games. Basebat - Bat Pokémon

Type - Fighting / Flying

Ability - Ball Fetch / Guts / Steadfast (Hidden)

Evolves into Vumpire at level 29.

It’s a fast, but very clumsy, flier. Caves are often filled with the sound of Basebat knocking into each other or the rock walls.

Vumpire - Sport Bat Pokémon

Type - Fighting / Flying

Ability - Ball Fetch / Guts / Steadfast (Hidden)

It lives in groups of nine adults, all of whom protect young Basebat by wrapping them in their leathery wings. It has a strong competitive streak, and groups of Vumpire rarely get along.

My submission for Smogon’s CAP 28, which is so far a Bug/Dragon with Neutralizing Gas and Compound Eyes. I obviously dipped back into the same well as Draborate for treehopper + dragon, but this one also takes elements from dragons in fairy tales that lock princesses in towers. It’s both the dragon and the tower!
