DEATH THREATS?? sounds like a lawsuit to me

GOD i wish. unfortunately excuses will be given over and over again for these managers - namely that one of them has a particular mental illness (don't wanna be too specific here) which is just, fucking insulting. pretty much everyone there has similar mental illness! it's blatant abuse of power and status within the company and at its most basic, we're just disposable............lol

#what being desperate for a job does to a mf.... #according to reviews on indeed/glassdoor plus what my coworkers are saying......when workers do complain we get fired with no warning #this past month has been a wild ride working for these people. gruelling work long hours and just utterly deranged company culture #we're just expected to....take it? i guess??? #i went on a research rabbit hole and i found MORE specific wild stuff i wanna mention abt these people but it'd doxx me ):

i think having worked a retail or food service job actually is more important to not being a loser than doing drugs or having sex. the poll that showed so much of this site has never worked one of those jobs was actually way more concerning to me than any of the celibacy sweep polls

#my cafe job at 18 was maybe the worst thing ive ever had to do. awful customers awful staff 👍 character building #a close runner up is my current retail role. however here the problem isn't the customers (generally kind and understanding old ladies) #nor even my coworkers but instead it's fucking management. awful awful company #been there a month and so far for us new staff there's been screaming. threats of violence. and death threats! from management! ❤ #all for a role that was misadvertised as permanent but is in fact seasonal and we'll all be let go in june anyway! #of course i'm quitting asap anyway. fuck that. horrific company. and someone else can be scheduled to clean out the shitters for a change ❤ #just so sooo hard to get a job here. i have a degree.........For What

I'm always seeing this sentiment of "I have got to make my art weirder" or people begging for weirder art but here's the thing, Weird is not a brand. You cannot rack your brains trying to figure out the "Weird" formula. You don't get weird art by artificially forcing whatever you think is "weird." You get weird art (and I think "weird" is sometimes people groping for a way of saying non-corporatized) by figuring out what you like, deep down, even (especially) if you think it's embarrassing and wallowing in it like a pig
