Just as we met.

Warnings - Angst, execution, death

Today was the day, the day that the famous Captain Jack Sparrow was to be hanged. I twirl in the mirror admiring my new dress, you wanted to look nice since it was such a big occasion. People are coming from across the seas to witness his death; there might even be a painter to capture the moment. With one last glance onto the mirror I rush out the door and towards the town square.

I squeeze your way through the crowd hoping up and down trying to find a good viewing point. I finally settle in a spot with a perfect view. I stood there awkwardly untill the commodore made his way to the front of the stage causing the crowd to settle. "Today is the day that Jack Sparrow shall be executed, he is charged with piracy, murder, impersonation, kidnapping, and serval other offenses." He says his voice projected through the crowd. Then it happned two kings men excorting him through the crowd to the top of the stage, Captain Jack Sparrow. He was so much more handsome than his wanted posters gave him credit for; he walked funny it has a swagger to it.

Once he reached the top of the stage he scanned the audience, then it happened he made eye contact with me. His brown eyes seem to burn into my soul, he smiled down at you showing his gold teeth. I felt like I could gaze into those eyes forever he just felt you with so much joy, I've just met this man but he was stirring all kinds of emotions he is just to charming.

The executioner grabbed his arm and guided him towards the guillotine breaking us apart. My heart dropped, the excitement I felt to see his head roll was replaced with a terrified panic. He can't just die I need to meet him, my eyes widen as his head is placed between the basket and the blade. The crowd get rowdy placing bets on weather hell escape or if he'll actually die. I desperately look around searching for anyone who would assist in his escape, there's no one. I look helplessly at him not ready for him to die, he looks at me and smiles such a confident smile. He's going to escape a wave of relief hits me, we smile at each other the whole world seems to stop. Then it happens the blade drops, the moment it hits his neck his head falls into the basket. My heart shatters I let out a heart broken wail, tears fall from my eyes mourning what could have been.
