this mindset bores me. a wizards lifespan is nigh infinite. yet mages still devoutly protect their physical form as if death to a wizard was akin to anything more than a flesh wound!

a wizard's form is always replaceable! stick your hand in that cauldron, lick that evil blade, look at a welder without proper eye protection!

mages forget that the wooden furniture on firearms can be easily converted into staffs and wands! the stocks also provide an incredible boost in accuracy for spells. finally the ability to intermingle physical attacks between your spells in a duels leave you time to recharge your arcane reserves.

the addition of firearms to a mages tool kit can allow them to focus on casting more powerful spells while maintaining a consistent assault during a duel!

overlooking nonmagic weapons is a clear sign of being a novice mage. don't be afraid to hit a foe with a club or shoot them with a gun!
