3. My favorite piece… oh man…..

I still really really like the Grisha with a lamb one…. I am never immune to religious symbolism and it is a testament to that!!!

Also the mirror one….. spent a lot of time on it and it was an idea that had been floating around my head for a good while so I’m glad I eventually did draw it BDHFBEHD

7. I answered what the easiest thing for me to draw is here !! (<- just learned how to do that… i feel so tech savvy…..)

8. Oh man. I struggle drawing feet so much. Every time I even try doing so it’s like fighting a losing battle. A battle that is inevitable like the winter and certain like death. When I attempt to draw a foot, an inch of my lifespan is sucked into the lines and I decay slowly. I cannot draw shoes to save my life either but I’m more decent with those at least. I think😭

13. A WIP I LIKE…. I really don’t know actually!! I haven’t drawn elaborate pieces in a while so everything I’ve drawn recently feels more like doodles so I don’t really count them as wips (?) so idk 🤔

For #6. Hehe. Guess

I like. Drawing my guys… it’s become almost like muscle memory at this point!!!! I have a lot of fun and it’s been the best way to slowly improve my art :D

For #7, I’d say that drawing hair maybe?? It’s like the last thing I do usually, so it’s like a reward for having drawn more complicated things like the pose and overall musculature and stuff(???)

Kind of unrelated but I was talking abt how I draw hair with someone yesterday and we both agreed that drawing hair is so fun that it’s hard to draw someone with pin-straight hair. I can’t do it, the urge to put lil curls in is too STRONG!!!!!

I cant believe i've never asked,

WHY does Grisha dye his hair blonde?

Good question!

He dyes it in an attempt to put even more distance between himself and his past. To him he’s too similar to his father, and he sees him in things such as his own attitude and anger, and that man is the last thing he wants to be like in any shape or form.

So he dyes his hair. Done so to the point of hair damage from the bleach. He’ll put re-dying it off but not long enough to let the hair “breathe” properly before dying it again. Maybe a good conditioner could help???

God forbid he ever realizes he has his mother’s eyes though.
