Can you elaborate on your feelings on the split-attraction model? I remember being a kid and using that to say I was a biromantic asexual or whatever and it kind of precluded my ability to think past that for a few years, lol. I think you had some thoughts on it a while ago but I'm not sure

I do not think the split attraction model is real. Here are some questions- What does romantic attraction mean? What does sexual attraction mean? How can you really separate these two things? What do these two things mean for different people? How can romantic and sexual attraction be measured? I don’t think these very individual things can be categorized so generally.

I get you still have insecurities about your appearance and that makes sense who doesnt? but I'm sure you also recognize on a logical level that most ppl recognize you as attractive as a man and that you pass (since you havent been she/her or they/themmed in years like you say you havent.) My first assumption when people send me asks is always that they are trying to engage with me in bad faith, so I apologize for thinking your ask was bait. But yes I am objectively attractive and i also would say that I pass as male. It’s not that I’m insecure in my appearance, it’s that I need to be humble.

To honestly answer you, yes I do think the way I look plays a role in how people engage with me. However, if I passed less or was less attractive that could also draw people to engage with me- in different ways of course. I do think that my frequent “haters” are attracted to me to some degree. Maybe I was a thirst follow gone wrong for them.

My “platform” is already very appearance based, I got popular on tiktok. The things I say online are also not profound or interesting enough to carry engagement. My “content” that I “produce” has always been what I look like at the base of it all.
