Mostly a question for the writers, why do you use dashes instead of quotes to indicate dialogue in the fics? It can make them kinda hard to read. Love the story, though!

Actually the co-writer made me notice that it was weird for her to see me using " - " instead of ".

It seems like different countries use different symbols at the start and end of a dialogue, for example in Italy we tend to use " << / >> " for dialogues and " for the thoughts and other things (or at least this is what I see in the books I read).

Using " - " was a thing that I saw in older books but it started to disappear while the other symbol became used more often, probably for the sake of readability.

In fact, I wanted to use these quotes (<< / >>), but AO3's html format deleted them for some reason so it became easier, almost instinctive, for me to replace them with dashes.

If it really makes reading more challenging, then I should think about changing the format I use!
