They run to him, hooves slipping slightly in their hurry, and fall to their knees beside him. With the Sleeping Ones and their underlings dealt with, Hamal can just teleport home with him. A short resurrection later and he’ll be back in their arms. The remaining high priest continues to thrash, struggling to move without one of its legs, shrieking all the while. Hamal ignores it and cradles Narinder’s corpse in their arms. “I’ve got you,” they murmur. “I’ve got you.” Hamal focuses, reaching for the distant teleportation seal that will take them home. Their magic is sluggish to respond, but flames begin to encircle the both of them. More black tears blur their eyes; they nuzzle their face against his. They hope his spirit still lingers nearby, though they cannot see or hear him now. The closer he is, the easier the resurrection will be. “I’ve got you,” they murmur. They squeeze their eyes shut as the flames rise; a cold wind begins to whip around them. “I’ve got—”

"If anyone has any chance of making sure it gets returned properly, it's you, Forneus." Ratau urged. "Please... Without the crown, I've no way of attempting it myself, but you, along with Ratoo's pool, should still--"

Forneus let out a displeased murr, folding her ears back and avoiding Ratau's eye.

"I guess that would explain some things." She mumbled. "As you only had a direct bond with the crown, you'd have no real way of knowing..."

"Knowin' what?" Shrumy asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Well, recall that my powers were merely a boon from the Red Crown." She started slowly. "It served as a bridge to the greater powers of Death, and so long as it was active, I could do what was needed of me.

"Yes," Ratau nodded. "And you could still do all that, even in the time between my loss of the crown and when Star took it on, so--"

"Well, do you not recall what you explained to me? That the Red Crown has been silenced? Without it, I am merely a regular old mortal, Ratau."

Ah...

He had been so swept up in his excitement, in his hope, that he had failed to consider that.

He stared at the ground for a few moments, silence filling the air. Nobody else was willing to say anything, but he could feel varying levels of disappointment and frustration from them.

"But..." He managed, in a shaky voice. "We have to at least try, right? M-Maybe with Ratoo's pool, we can do... Something."

Forneus stared at him for a long time, gaze initially hard but steadily softening as she thought. Finally, she heaved a sigh.

"I will... See what can be done. If Ratoo wants to go through with it."

"Thank you, Forneus." He said, hugging the satchel in his arms close. "You won't regret this."

Forneus' mouth opened, and her eyes narrowed like she was about to give a cutting remark...

But she stopped herself and simply sighed again.

"Let me see what we have here, and I'll make the preparations."

Voices for my RBB AU Characters.

So, I decided to think of some voices of cartoon characters for my RBB AU Characters. I was gonna go anime but it's too overrated so I decided to go with Cartoon and YouTube stuff.

Remeber, these are MY idea for my AUs. This doesn't represent other AUs and other people ideas. However, you have some ideas for the characters, let me know. I am intersted to hear it in comments.

Leshy

Leshy would definitly be that "Good Morning Little Boy" voice. Here's a link for those who don't know. < Link >

Kallamar

Kallamar would be....Moxxie. I know it sounds crazy but think of Moxxie's voice but alittle bit more stuttery and child like.

Heket

Heket's voice would be like Buttercup. I think it fits her and her nature. The OG Buttercup, not the new one.

Shamura

Shamura's one is hard since there are not alot of smart and serious characters that I know of that fits them. So, it took me quite a while but I think he fits Tin Tin. I know what you are thinking but remember, Shamura is around 12 year old and imagine Tin Tin's voice and make it younger. Tin Tin is smart and adventerous. Just the way how I see my version of Shamura.

Narinder

For Narinder, it's Shadow The Hedgehog......AHEM.... I mean, Lucario's voice from Pokemon Mystery of Mew. His voice fits so damn well for my Narinder.

Lamb

Jewel from RIO. Hands down. You CANNOT change my mind. I like Jewel as a character and Lamb reminded me of her when I Redesigned her.

Ratau

Carl Fredricksen from the movice UP fits Ratau so well for me.

Flinky

Flinky...erm...for flinky...oh @rabiesram is gonna be disappointed...Flinky is just gonne be your average old Snake Voice...Raspy Voice that put Sssss at every S in when he speaks..

Klunko

Well, Captain Knuckles from Flapjack will be Klunko. I cannot hear any voice ( my first thought was Captain Hook but he doesn't fit for my old Gay bird )

Shrumy

Grunkle Stanford Pines. Yes, I said it. Shrumy is Grunkle. Fite me.

Sozo

I will just say this quote. You guys might get it. " What's a Lamb doing here? *Lamb puts on her crown* LAMB THE CHOSEN VESSEL!!???!"

Yes @cosmica-candy you cannot change my mind for this AU's Sozo's voice.

Helob

It's Spider-Man. NO. Anyway, I think ...I got nothing...I..can't think of anything for Helob...I am sorry to all Helob fans TvT.

Hugo

Hugo is Scout from TF2 when he's talking normally but his voice changes to Spy's voice when he decided to flirt.
