a beginner’s guide to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II Fandom (most of it)
Captain John Price: den dad. He’s got the moustache to prove it. Nikolai is his Russian pilot BF.
Ghost’s real name is Simon Riley. Some say he’s blonde, some dark-haired. Feel free to choose a side. Feel free to ship him w/anyone you want (Soap, Roach, or Gaz in any combo). Just understand that he is the scariest babygirl. Very tall, very stabby, very masked unless he wants to make you his husband.
Laswell: den aunt (not mom just bc she’s not around as much). Friends w/Price. She can get him to do anything. She’s married to some lucky woman (IDK if this is canon but good for her).
Johnny “Soap” MacTavish: is a chaotic team w/Gaz & Roach. They pull pranks, gossip & man the group chat which is full of memes. Soap is very proud of his Scottish heritage (so are we!). He’s looking respectfully at Ghost’s butt. He loves blowing things up & he craves words of affirmation.
Kyle “Gaz” Garrick: Price’s informally adopted son. Price likes to think he’s responsible & tbh he is until someone is needed to film Soap & Roach’s antics. He’s just trying to live his life but the love lives of everyone leave him exasperated (hard to keep up).
Gary “Roach” Sanderson: precious smol bby.
König: another precious bby. He’s just taller than everyone, by MUCH (pretty sure he’s like 6’7” based on pictures). His sniper hood is a shirt w/holes. He occasionally knocks over things & gets embarrassed but no one is mad. He uses his lil Austrian puns/sayings & everyone is confused (they just like that he sounds happy).
Phillip Graves: fucking asshole. He’s only a “good guy” in fics so the guys can prank him, or so Ghost can scare the shit out of him, or so someone can fuck him in some kind of consensual frenemy hatesex fic.
Alejandro Vargas: sexy Spanish speaking dude who helps the 141 in combat & love issues. He’s dating Rudy.
Rodolfo “Rudy” Parra: also speaks Spanish. He’s dating Alejandro, who he’s known since forever.

For my posts I'm gonna be putting the date at the top of each post chase idk about anyone else but I like to see when people post to see how active they are.
Secondly I will be taking requests if anyone feels like requesting. I will write a lot of things but shut or anything suggestive is a no. I'm Ace so idk how that shit even works tbh
I think that's pretty much it other than anything in my posts will be like date and extra info on the top, and then the writing. Anything in brackets would be like a little informational authors note.
Now a little bio for me.
You can call me Rellik or Ky. I'm 21yo and own a cat named Potato. Ask me anything about cats, theyre my special interest and i could go on for hours about cats and Potato. My current favorite game is borderlands 3 but I've played a few COD games. My fav would have to be Ghosts because of Riley but I love MW2(2022) mostly cause the sniper mission with Gaz and Price. Kinda wish Nikolai did more but whatever. I didn't play the newer MW1 yet but I hope to soon. I refuse to watch game play of games I haven't played bc its spoilers unless I don't really want to play the game. I like heavy metal music a lot but can enjoy 99% of any music. I just don't like anime songs or sad songs. Some are fine but I don't like a lot of the sad songs cause they're too slow. I've got a few headcanons about the COD boys but they kinda change and can be debatable.
Imma list the games that I've played and wouldn't mind writing about.
COD:
MW1 (og)
MW3 (og)
Ghosts
MW2 (2022)
Watchdogs (all 3 games DLC too)
Borderlands (2, 3, Tales, New Tales, all DLC for 3)
Assassins creed (2, brotherhood, revelations, 3, blackflag, syndicate)
Detroit: become human
Stray (cute cat game :)
That's pretty much it. Other fandoms I can do would be like
Most Rick Riordan books
Alan walker's walkerverse (I'm #80534 hit me up if you also a walker)
Space orcs / space Australia (on alt acc @rellik24 )

Thought this up earlier today. Gonna be Ghost x y/n bc I said so.
They/them for reader
Gonna be Ghost's POV
Also angst cause I love it
Y/n had been missing for weeks now. A few hours ago, Price had announced that they were presumed dead. They'd been injured on a mission and had to be left behind. Ghost had to leave them behind or risk the entire team being killed or captured. He keeps blaming himself and telling himself that there was some way he could have saved you but he didn't think of it soon enough.
After receiving the news, Ghost went to the shooting range to clear his head and let out some of his frustrations (btw this is the same shooting range as in the COD4 with Soap and Gaz). There was no way that y/n could be dead. They were tougher than that. There was no way that they'd just sit back and die right?
The wooden target was practically destroyed when Ghost heard the door open. He didn't look to see who it was but did hesitate to shoot in order to listen to the footsteps. They were hesitant at first and then approached him.
He glanced to the side, not turning his head to see that it was Doap approaching him. He didn't want to talk to anyone and hoped that he was there to get in some target practice as well.
He was wrong. Soap's footsteps stopped a few feet behind him. Ghost tried to make it Lear he didn't want to talk by aiming down the sights and unloading another mag into the wooden target.
He didn't hear footsteps leaving him so it was clear that Soap was still behind him. He reloaded his gun.
After he finished reloading, which took a solid 30 seconds, Soap still hadn't said a word or even made a noise. "Whatever you want to say, just spit it out. Unless you're here just to watch." Ghost said in a slightly hostile tone. He didn't want to deal with anyone talking to him or even being in the same room as him right now.
"Ghost I... I'm sorry. I know you loved them a lot and you lose a lot of people doing this job but..."
"If you're going to give me nothing but pity then I suggest you just leave." Ghost interrupted. The last thing he wanted was someone to pity him. Why? Because he lost a loved one? Wouldn't be the first time and probably wouldn't be the last.
"I'm not here to pity you. They were my friend too. I'm upset and frustrated too. I'm trying to empathize with you but you clearly don't want it." Soap said getting defensive.
Ghost didn't want to snap at Soap so he didn't say anything. He just picked up the Assault rifle he'd been shooting, unloaded it and walked over to give it back to the guy behind the counter.
"So what? You're just going to walk away? You can't keep running from all your problems Simon." Soap called out to him as he walked out the door.
He stormed into his barracks and everyone who was off duty stood at attention. He just ignored them all and went to his bunk. He opened the boot chest and threw on some of his very few civilian clothes.
As he walked out the door of the base, he messaged Price that he was going out for a while so nobody would look for him on base.
He took off his mask when he started to see the buildings of the town. That way nobody would be able to recognize him because nobody knew his face. Only Price did and he knew to respect Ghost's boundaries.
He went to the park where he'd first met y/n and sat there. It was a dog park and the middle of the day so naturally there were a bunch of dogs there. He'd even sat down on the bench where he'd first met y/n and zoned out to the memory of them.
---------------------------------------------------
Ghost sat down on the bench to watch the dogs play. Riley had loyally stayed by his side the entire time. He told Riley to lay down under him to keep him safe and he obeyed as soon as the order was given. He'd been asked to look after the military dog for a week while his cousin, Hesh Walker, was out of town for 3 weeks.
Suddenly he'd hear a small dog barking and someone yelling after the barking dog. Both were running towards him.
Ghost ordered Riley to get up on the bench with him because he didn't need this little shitzu harassing Riley while he could do nothing about it.
The small dog was jumping up on the bench trying to get to Riley, while Riley was staring at the potential human threat.
They ran up to Ghost barely out of breath and grabbed the little dogs collar and clipped on the leash. "I'm so sorry about that. I don't know why she did that. She's usually friendly with the other dogs here." They said. They looked fairly put together.
"I probably would have kicked her away if you hadn't come along." Ghost said honestly.
"That makes sense. I've done the same before." They laughed a little then paused. "Sergeant?" They asked. Ghost looked confused for a second before remembering he had his rank tattooed onto his arm before he'd been captured by Roba and it had been too scarred to update it.
"Liutenant actually. Got a month of leave so I'll be back on the field in a few weeks." He explained without giving away too many details.
"Awe man. I thought we were the same rank." They complained. Ghost was surprised. They looked too scrawny to be military. Maybe they were a different branch than he was.
"What Branch?" He asked curiously.
"Marines." They said. They were in the same Branch as him and the same rank as Soap.
"Is your dog also military? He listens very well and seems well trained." They commented.
"Yeah. I'm watching him for my cousin. That's why I'm on leave right now. I would let you put him but that would mean letting that little thing near him."
"It's no problem for me. I knew that I wouldn't be able to interact with any other living being when I took this one for a walk." They gestured to the dog on the leash.
There was a chime heard from their pocket and they pulled out their phone and sighed. "I'm needed back at home. Nobody knows how to kill a spider apparently." They said with a smile. "If you bring him back tomorrow I can pet him. Same time." They said as they walked away.
After that, the two of them met there everyday where they asked eaxhother questions and just chatted about anything and everything.
-------------------------------------------------
Ghost had clearly been zoning out for far too long because he had barely registered the person who sat down beside him. He looked over to see Price looking down at the grass.
Neither of them said anything but just being there in eachother's presence was comforting. Price knew that if he wanted to talk about something then he would when he was ready. Price had always been so kind to him.
It had been about 10 minutes before Price finally broke the comfortable silence. "I managed to get the whole team a week of leave and told Laswell not to give any of us any missions no matter what unless approved by me."
Ghost just nodded in acknowledgment.
Price sighed heavily "I think you and I both know they're not dead. Even if the general says they legally are, they're not. Y/n is tougher than that."
"Well if I can come back from the dead then I know y/n can too. They've always been stronger than me." He said. Technically simon Riley was dead but he wasn't. He was right there sitting on the bench with Price in a dog park.
"Why don't we head back to base? Soap's been worried sick about you since you left the range." Price suggested. Ghost just nodded and got up to head to Price's car.
