This is the most recent selfie I’ve taken- about a week and a half ago when I took my parents to their eye appointments, lol. I was waiting in the car for them.

My year has been… just okay, I think is the best way to put it. Not the best, but not terrible either. I’m hoping that 2022 is a much better year, both for myself and for the people I care about.

SO. Everyone’s assuming that Director!Eddie’s son is named Samuel because of his previous connections with Samuel Stuhlinger. And that would make sense, assuming that each version of Edward’s memories somehow bleed into one another.

BUT. What if little Samuel was instead named after Samantha Maxis? I mean, she was Eddie’s oldest and closest friend. They were together through literal hell and back. It would be only fitting that he and his wife would name their child after someone who’s been so important throughout his life.

It would also add an extra layer to the regret and guilt that Samantha feels over not being able to save Samuel.

Just something that came to mind the other night.
