Dek-3: "Keep searching. The Warmind has spent centuries researching the Light and its affect on Exos." *Sending a message to Rasputin*

Dek-3: *Steps to another computer and continues running through files*

*Papers and other tech gadgets for storing notes laying around the many screens and computers laying in the ruins of Mars.*

Dek-3: *Frustration building* "Where are the answers I need?!

King: "....Maybe we should take a break." *Dek-3 moves to another computers covered in notes*

Dek-3: *Another dead end* WHERE ARE THE ANSWERS WHEN I NEED THEM!!!! *throws all the notes and gadgets across the room off the computers*

Dek-3: *trudges over to the wall and slides down it with their back until they're sitting, their head in their hands*

Dek-3: *whisper* Why can't I save him?

King: *floats over to Dek-3 and floats next them* "Please take a break and I'll keep looking. Would you be fine with that?" *A slight nod from Dek-3*

King: * Floats away and starts scanning more computers and bouncing messages back and forth as quiet sobbing is heard behind him* *He winces wishing there was more he could do*

*The grunts and shrieks as they charge*

*Lira dances through them and cuts through a score*

Lira: "Not enough!!!" *gritting her teeth* "ITS NOT ENOUGH." *Cuts into pieces the many Scorn Ravagers and Stalkers gathered until she arrives to a Chieftain guarded by 2 Abominations*

Lira:*Points her blade at the Chieftan* You're mine. *Dodges between the two Abominations and slices through their stomachs bisecting them*

*Chieftan screams some vulgarities as its head is parted from its body*

Lira: *whispers* It's still not enough. *Falls to her knees in the ruins and remains of the Scorn*

Lira: *pulls out a piece of a cloak with part of an ace*

Cal: "..........."

Lira: *looks up in tears* Its still not enough.

Cal: "I know." *Sets himself down on her shoulder as tears continue to fall*

Any specific reason(s) why you love Petra so much?

Not really, when I first saw her, I kind of just gravitated towards her, even when she was still just the emissary. But, to be fair, I’ve always had a huge interest in the Awoken and she sort of sparked it when she was still emissary because my initial thought was “wow, there’s a whole civilization of people like her out in space. That is so cool!”

After she was given a face and a story in House of Wolves, I just thought that she was only getting cooler and thought that it was great to see my favorite vendor being able to do something other than sit in the Tower for a week.

Eventually, there came a point in my D1 play through where I would specifically go to the Reef social area to do things just because I knew she was there. So I’m pretty sure I had a woman crush on her, but now it’s been dialed back into more of admiration and I just sort of look up to her. (It’s ridiculous to look up to a video game character, I know, I just can’t help it)

Her dedication to her people, her reason for fighting, her backstory, are all just part of the things that accumulated my favoritism for her.

In summary, I guess I like her because she was the first character I really connected to and because I thought she was pretty cool.

(Also, the knife thing I always thought was cool)

Perish his ghost: Why are we here?

Risen: Saw a flicker out here. Warped space.

Perish: You know when some people see the fabric of reality warping they usually go the other way.

Risen: *wolfish grin* Not the warlord way.

Perish:*sigh* I suppose it isnt.

*Last of the Vex get cut down piling onto the large hills around them of Vex bodies.*

Risen:*Approaches the flickering space ahead.*

Perish: Its not too late. Could always go to the Dreaming City-

*a giant Descendant Minotaur emerges*

Perish: And never mind.

Risen: *charges*

*The Minotaur lifts its hand and tries to crush Risen, the fist lands on the ground sending shockwaves.

Risen:*dodges to one side with the blades shield up to protect himself and jumps up onto the arm laughing*

*Minotaur jumps back and tries to shake him off.*

Risen: *From the arm runs and jumps off, sword raised high in reverse before launching into the center of the minotaur plunging the blade through the armor and into the radiolarian fluid beneath. He falls to the ground as he lets go.*

Risen: Oof!

*Descendant Minotaur shakes and Trembles before falling back into tear*

Risen: My sword!

*everything gets quiet*

Perish: Can we go now?

Risen:*blubbering* Yeah.

*Turns to walk away and the sword reappears to smack him in the head knocking him down.*

Perish: *looks at the sword now similar to the Descendant Vex in color and, if right by his analysis, age.*

Perish: *looks st the unconscious Risen and decides to sit on top of the sprawled out body* You know what I'm taking this break.

Lira the Hunter: *on a sparrow* I've always wanted to do this.

Risen the titan: *standing at the edge of the Hellmouth* Come on!!! Do it!

Lira: *laughing manically, steps on the accelerator and hits Risen in the chest at full speed with the sparrow*

Risen: *dead at impact gets launched towards the center of the Hellmouth*

Lira: *whistles in astonishment*

Risen: *revived back on the ledge.*

Lira: *looks to Dek-3* What's the verdict judge?

Risen: *looks at Dek-3 in anticipation*

Dek-3: *sighs* 8/10. Didnt clear it but the launch was well done.

*Risen and Lira high five*

Lira: Let's see if we can get you to the other side.
