OH I KNOW WHY THEY DON'T MAKE PLUSHIES OF NYA AND ZANE ACTUALLY! The staff at Lego land told me that Zane merch never sells. It upsets me to no end since I WANT TO COMPLETE MY COLLECTION

What let you down about Dragon Rising? I'm curious.

Just had heard it wasn't going to focus on the ninja so I was super excited at the idea it might expand on characters we don't know much about! Like the other elemental masters n where they come from! Echo Zane would be great to know about too... Other villains even? Where they are now? Just stuff you find out in tweets that I feel should be Shown instead of answered in a question on twitter or something, y'know? Then it came out that it was focusing on new characters and all that, and I didn't really have the energy to invest in them.

(Also still a bit mad we have a plush of EVERY ninja, including WU, but STILL no Zane!! And then we get plushes of the new characters??? Despite not even having every ninja??)

No disrespect to anyone who does like it, of course! I've heard wonderful things and I'm sure I'll love it after I start it !! Just gotta. Want to start it.

i JUST posted a headcanon height chart which kind of includes their builds but I will take any opportunity I can to talk about them... I view all of them as some kinda muscular since!!! Training!!

Cole is 100% a strongman build. That kind of chubby and incredibly muscular type of body which he developed over time... Naturally super tall too so he's pretty intimidating at first glance

Zane used to look quite average before being titanium, afterwards though he was much stronger looking!! His height and "muscle" makes him a bit intimidating too

Jay's a stocky kind of chubby and strong, a bit more average looking so he's underestimated a lot. But don't be fooled .. he IS the strongest non-superstrength human on the team

Kai's build is a bit more "model" if that makes sense? He works hard to keep his abs (even if he can forget on vacations and when they FINALLY get a break after a big battle...) but they ARE there because of training and actual fighting

Nya is also quite strong!! Building heavier machinery over the years helped her get some muscle!! And her arms are a bit thicker than her brother's

Lloyd is the leanest of the bunch! Definitely not scrawny, he's just the thinnest of the team

(and pixal is absolutely BUILT by choice when she rebuilds herself. She is HUGE and SCARY)

OH MY GOD SOMEONE ELSE WHO THINKS ZANE IS 6'4 ASASNDA

ITS JUST THE PERFECT HEIGHT FOR HIM. I actually have kinda a headcanon behind it too :3 which everyone is goijg to be forced to hear

S1-3 he's around 5'8"! After he gets exploded, he's trying to return as fast as possible, right? So I think he and Pixal gut one of the unfinished nindroid soldiers that the overlord has been producing and use it as his base since it's already basically all of his blueprints. Just.. improved! Abilities he doesn't realize he has until he's out in Chen's tunnels, etc. And also larger!

Zane didn't rebuild himself taller on purpose and when he remembers everyone and sees them again, he's a bit baffled by how large he is now!!!

glacier has such good longterm chemistry: the values (family, friends, their training), spare time (random trips, going outdoors), and their personalities (I could write a master's thesis on this)

Cole is close with Lou, Zane was close with Dr Julien while he was alive, and both of them have showed some resistance to lovers and preference to their friends (Pix is easily read as Zane's sister, Cole hasn't had a clear love interest since Weird Love Triangle)

back when they were training regularly, these two seemed to be less distractible from training regularly and keeping an eye on Ninjago. they can become complacent, but Zane's attentiveness and anxiety would likely keep Cole on his dot

neither of them are serious or workaholic enough as to forget about enjoying life; Cole's frequently characterized as laidback around others, while studious at home, and only anxious when people's lives are at stake. meanwhile Zane is more out of depth in social environments and very clearheaded during fights. he needs someone else who thinks more about the effects of their actions, so he doesn't unnecessarily put himself and others at risk

they balance out each other's shortcomings. unless if they can dress up in which case they lose all braincells and run around like the silly little gays they are (ex. The Royal Blacksmiths, Snake Jaguar)

and never forget Cole making fun of Zane for all of Can of Worms, when Zane's gi was dyed pink and Cole was so distracted making fun of the Constrictai tomb that they nearly got killed (thank you Zane's common sense that the tomb would have traps and also his rockin flute skills)
