thinking abt luffy, and how he grew up so poor that if he wanted to have a decent meal he had to go into the forest and fight big, dangerous animals. but at least he was strong enough to be able to fight, while there were people that lived close to him that had to live amongst the trash, hoping to find scraps they could sell so they could eat once during the day.

thinking abt how luffy values food so much, how he always eats as much as he physically can. how he values the people that feed him, that eat with him. whether its a luxurious meal or just an apple they share.

thinking abt how pretty much everytime he saved/liberated a place/island/nation was bc someone from the place had fed him.

how when he actived gear 5 he was fighting to save a nation that its main problem was starvation. and not only that but the food there had also been weaponized to mock them and make them suffer more. and it was fighting for them that he fully reached the form of nika, the form that will allow him to bring down the current government and its system which creates these areas where people starve

also! how in zoros introduction we see him eat something that was on the dirt, partly bc he hadnt eaten in a long time and partly bc someone made it and risked themselves to bring it to him. and how sanji is always happy to cook for anyone whos hungry and absolutely hates food waste. and how these two are luffys wings

In relation to the Crocomom Theory… after realizing both Crocodile and Dragon are reptiles, I just couldn’t help myself…

Have this silly little comic.

They’re lucky their son is the protagonist.

Now trivia time:

Crocodilians are relatively distant from lizards in the philogenetic tree. They are more closely related to birds (birds are dinosaurs) than they are to lizards.

So you know what that means? Crocodile might have not worried about Dragon, but maybe he would have with Doflamingo or Mihawk, who are popular candidates for his pairings. Hehe.

Anyway, I just wanted to make this monkey being born from an egg made by a crocodile and a komodo dragon joke.

And what makes it even better is that a monkey being born from an egg is not unherad of. That's how legendary figure Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, was born, after all.

Everything works in favor of Crocodile being Luffy's dad. I want to believe.

Holy shit, I just realised something.

That beautiful dramatic ass entrance Madara made when he was revived with edo tensei? Where he left his coffin in a single explosive kick/blow that sent the lid flying?

He died before. This was not the first time he woke up in a coffin.

I wonder how he felt after Hashirama killed him, when he woke up inside the coffin/box that Tobirama put him in for safe keeping. When it was new, and possibly frightening to awaken in that tight space, the poor air quality, not meant for the living, before he freed himself from it (and maybe it was not that easy, considering Tobirama meant to keep Madara's body away from thieves. The struggle, for just a moment, to get out...)

No wonder he was so quick to get out of his coffin the second time around. Been there, done that, doesn't care for a repeat.

they had one interaction in the entire manga/show but it gave such Divorced vibes. they just kept staring and glaring at each other like,,, ok. they definitely have a History. doflamingo (depending on the translation) kept saying allusive things like “Let’s hook up!” and “You’re teaming up with Whitebeard? Don’t make me jealous!” like he has it down baddd for crocodile. also don’t get me started on when Oda drew a “What if they teamed up?” scenario where doflamingo has his arm around him, while crocodile wears both a flamingo and a crocodile wearing crowns on his jacket.
