"You okay?" Jon asks, Valeria sighs.

"No, I should be out there with them, helping." Valeria says, sighing harshly.

"Vale, you know you can't. It's dangerous, and dad said we have to stay inside. No matter how powerful you are, Vale." Jon says. Lois enters the room and sits next to Valeria, putting an arm around her shoulder.

"Jon's right. Jordan and Clark can do this. This is for your safety, being here, will keep you safe, both of you. She wants both of you." Lois reminds the both of them.

"Yeah, I would agree if this was normal, but we're talking about my mom. My mom. She's more dangerous than anyone you guys faced before." Valeria says as she sighs and Jon and Lois look at each other. "I'm gonna get something to eat, Jon, you hungry?"

"Uh, yeah. I'll come with you." Jon says, following Valeria into the kitchen...

[10 Months Before This Event]

[Jordan is against the lockers with a bunch of guys, surrounding him. Jordan's eyes turn red as Jon shakes his head at his brother. Then, a certain voice makes Jordan and the bullies stop to look. It was Valeria Cruz. She's not a popular girl, but she's someone many bullies know, as she beats and helps the ones who they bully. She was Jordan's best friend, still is, but they haven't seen each other for some time. This is the first time he sees her again. His heart stops when he sees how beautiful she's become. How fearless she still is.]

"Ben, and his idiot friends. Well, not a surprise that you're bulling someone... again." Valeria states, rolling her eyes and glaring at Ben, who let go of Jordan as Jon goes to his side, Jordan nods at his brother and looks back to Valeria and Ben.

"Valeria Cruz." Ben says, in his thick Latino voice. Valeria raises her brows as he comes closer to her.

"Ben Garcia." She mocks. His friends make an 'ooh' sound as Ben cocks his head at Valeria.

"Are you mocking me?" Ben asks, in a threatening tone. His glares becoming golden, Ben has the abilities to make anything and everyone golden with a simple touch of his finger. Valeria knows this and smirks.

"Actually, yeah. You know me, and I know you. I could tell everyone in this room, what you can do. And they'd hate you... You know why? It's because you've kicked and beat women, even your own mother... So, tell me how would they react?" Valeria whispers to Ben, smirks at how Ben glares at her, she whispered so no one knew what they're saying, but Jordan hears every word she says.

"You wouldn't dare." Ben whispers back, glaring.

"I would. Unless, you'd prefer me kicking your ass in front of a bunch of boys." Valeria says out loud. Ben chuckles and looks to his side, at his friends they also laugh.

"Oh yeah, and how would you do that?" Ben asks, laughing with his friends. Valeria smirks. she grabs Ben's arm, twisting it, kicking him behind the knee so he falls. His friends stop laughing and stare at Valeria, shocked. Ben groans and winces.

"Like this." Valeria says, letting go of Ben, kicking his back so that he falls to the ground and turning to the rest of the people crowd around them.

"If any of you try to mess around with both of these boys, then better run." Valeria says, as his friends help him up and they start to walk away, but Ben glares at Valeria before they walk away. "Now, shoo!" Valeria yells, making the crowd walk away fast from her sight.

She turns to Jordan and Jon, as she smiles warmly at them. Before she could speak, Jordan hugs her, holding her waist with one hand, and another on the back of her head.

"Oh, hey. Missed me?" Valeria says, chuckling, hugging Jordan back.

"Yeah, we did. And honestly, didn't know you were that badass." Jon says, as Jordan lets go of Valeria, he looks into her brown eyes, she does with his green and blue eyes until they hear Jon clearing his throat. Jordan moves away from Valeria as Jon raises his brows at his brother, Jordan gives him a look.

"Well, thanks, and forgot to say but, Lois and Clark invited me for dinner tonight." Valeria says, making the twin' attention go back to her. Jordan's lips turn into a slight smile as Jon makes an surprised face at their friend.

"What? They didn't tell us!" Jon says, making Valeria roll her eyes playfully.

"Well, maybe, that's cause it's was suppose to be a surprise... oops." Valeria says, "See ya guys after school!"

She quickly walks away as Jordan looks at figure going into the History doors. Jon taps his brothers arm with the back of his hand,

"Come on, lover boy, you'll get to see her after school. Oh, and tonight also. What luck." Jon says, smirking at his brother, as Jordan shakes his head and slightly smiles as they walk away.

[After School]

"Heya, boys." Valeria calls Jordan and Jon out as they wait for her, and she joins them as they walk. With Valeria in between them as they walk,.

"Hey, ready?" Jordan asks, smiling at Valeria, she nods and smiles back.

"Yeah, and oh, uh, I already know that Clark is Superman." Valeria says, as she continues to walk, but then turns when she realizes that they stopped walking. She looks them looks at her with shocked faces and with that,' unbelievable' look on their face.

"You're joking, right?" Jordan asks, Valeria nods.

"Do I seem like I'm joking? No, i've kinda known all my life... So there's that." Valeria responds, nodding her head to the side.

"Are you kidding? Wait, how did you find out?" Jon asks, Jordan looks at Valeria, wanting to know the answer.

"Well, it was kinda unexpected." Valeria says, walking, as the boys go by her side, listening. "I happened to watch Clark use his ice breath to freeze the milk, while Lois made an quote on quote, 'are you kidding me' expression. Of course, as little ol' me, I laughed. And then, they freaked out, it was actually pretty hilarious. But they told me to not tell you guys, well until you were ready to know. But you guys moved, and well, I didn't get to tell you, no matter how excited I was."

After knowing the Kent's for years, Valeria's grandparents, who she lived with let her visit them in Metropolis, Valeria would always either be in Jordan's room, or the kitchen, where she'd help Lois cook...

Valeria sighs as she looks through the fridge. Only to close it.

"You like him don't you?" Lois says, smiling, giving Valeria a glass of water. Valeria gives Lois a shocked look, but smiles.

"Uh, yeah. I do. But how did you know?" Valeria asks, taking a sip.

"How do I know? I'll tell you, you guys have been crushing on each other since preschool. I saw when Jordan told you he was dating Sarah. You were hurt. But now you have a chance." Lois says to Valeria, she chuckles.

"Don't know about that." Valeria says.

"Then, ask him yourself." Lois says.
