So I finally spoke to my doctor and was diagnosed with depression (I think she wanted to diagnose me with bipolar depression but decided against it) earlier today. It’s a very mixed feeling because on one hand, there really is something wrong and that’s scary, but on the other, these past nine years in which I’ve been fighting this have finally been validated as more than just me “being dramatic”.

I start my anti-depressant tomorrow, and I really really hope that this ends up helping.
