Explanation undercut:

Equius is another character that takes himself very seriously. He's a lover of art and the male physiques, and horses and junk. I think he knows he sometimes makes people uncomfortable by talking weird bullshit all the time, but he doesn't ever really know when he's done it until after its already happeend, sometimes way after, and he just cant help himself. He'd fancy himself a gentleman, a protector, he think that if he saw some injustice happen, he'd jump in the way of it and handle it but his idea of "injustice" doesn't line up with other people often times, and also who he THINKS needs protecting and who actually needs protecting is different.
