A ramble excuse? For me?? Oh, oh so kind, too kind

Ima go back to an old thought process I had.

The phrase “you will never be able to separate Jekyll from Hyde” goes so much deeper than I originally thought. (Could be because I’m just dumb and took too long to realize this, but yah lol)

It summarizes perfectly how Jekyll’s experiment didn’t go as originally planned.  How no one will be able to truly seperate the “good” and “evil” in a person. That little nagging voice in your head, the opposite of your conscious, that stupid part of your mind that just hates you, will always be there. It will be like a virus you’ll never be cured of, a curse bestowed upon one that you’ll never be rid of.

It’s more than the fact that Jekyll wasn’t scientifically able to create two different beings to represent this good and evil, but rather that philosophically it will never be possible. More than just an annoying friend who won’t get off your back, no, that annoying friend IS you. It’s all you, and you’re the only thing you’ll never be able to get away from. You’re trapped with yourself, and I feel that the whole book really emphasizes this message in such an amazing way. No matter how much someone tries to change that (Jekyll tried) he failed. 

One will never be inherently good and completely bad, and fighting against those basic laws won’t result in something beneficial for anyone. One must learn instead to coexist with these two versions as one in unison. Only then, like a sailor working with the sea instead of going against it, will one achieve something.

it’s much more difficult that one would imagine to think about and find their own faults.

But here we go!

My most prominent one is I become very aloof and quiet towards others even when I’m not angry, and people very much take it the wrong way. I’m not mad at you, I just need some time to recharge. I get attached to people very very easily, and it’s always to friends who don’t have mutual feelings.

dk if these are considered toxic but I’m not proud of them.

I brag. I try not to, but it’s very difficult to not. It’s mostly with grades though because I’m lost confident in those.

I bet I have more, my brain is just not very good at remembering when I have to remember things.

So everybody has toxic traits right? Well, Here's mine I guess, :let's start a warning train CHOO CHOO. (You don't have to RB, But if you could add your toxic traits into the reblogs that'd be great. Because this is to show that everyone has that little bit of bad no matter how great people think they are.) So.. my traits.. Clingy AF, Impatient af, Over self doubting to the point where I say the shit out loud all the time for what must be sympathy I guess but I know people are going to be like 'yeah we know, But like you are' because I say things like that so much. It's not even funny. Worrying constantly about other people's opinions, Seeking constant praise and validation. Talking about myself constantly or attempting to use situations from my own life to assist with my empathy but it comes across as self-centered. (I've been trying to stop..) Maybe some of you won't consider these toxic but.. They aren't positive traits.
