When I read the script [for Everything Everywhere All At Once], I thought, this is something. Oh dear. No, this is something I’ve been waiting for for a long time. That’s going to give me the opportunity to show my fans, my family, my audience, what I’m capable of. To be funny, to be real, to be sad. Finally, somebody understood that I can do all these things.

HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE Let’s say it’s 6.15pm and you’re going home (alone of course), after an unusually hard day on the job. You’re really tired, upset and frustrated. Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that starts to drag out into your arm and up into your jaw. You are only about five miles from the hospital nearest your home. Unfortunately you don’t know if you’ll be able to make it that far. You have been trained in CPR, but the guy that taught the course did not tell you how to perform it on yourself..!! NOW HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE… Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack, without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness. However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest. A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again. Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can perhaps buy precious time to get themselves to a phone and dial 911. Rather than sharing another joke please contribute by broadcasting this which can save a person’s life! Be prepared and become part of the solution. Get your free next-of-kin notification card today. THROUGH A RAPIST’S EYES” (PLS TAKE TIME TO READ THIS. It may save a life, It may save your life.)
An Article from Neena Susan Thomas
“Through a rapist’s eyes. A group of rapists and date rapists in prison were interview…ed on what they look for in a potential victim and here are some interesting facts:
1] The first thing men look for in a potential victim is hairstyle. They are most likely to go after a woman with a ponytail, bun! , braid, or other hairstyle that can easily be grabbed. They are also likely to go after a woman with long hair. Women with short hair are not common targets.
2] The second thing men look for is clothing. They will look for women who’s clothing is easy to remove quickly. Many of them carry scissors around to cut clothing.
3] They also look for women using their cell phone, searching through their purse or doing other activities while walking because they are off guard and can be easily overpowered.
4] The number one place women are abducted from / attacked at is grocery store parking lots.
5] Number two is office parking lots/garages.
6] Number three is public restrooms.
7] The thing about these men is that they are looking to grab a woman and quickly move her to a second location where they don’t have to worry about getting caught.
8] If you put up any kind of a fight at all, they get discouraged because it only takes a minute or two for them to realize that going after you isn’t worth it because it will be time-consuming.
9] These men said they would not pick on women who have umbrellas,or other similar objects that can be used from a distance, in their hands.
10] Keys are not a deterrent because you have to get really close to the attacker to use them as a weapon. So, the idea is to convince these guys you’re not worth it.
POINTS THAT WE SHOULD REMEMBER:
1] If someone is following behind you on a street or in a garage or with you in an elevator or stairwell, look them in the face and ask them a question, like what time is it, or make general small talk: can’t believe it is so cold out here, we’re in for a bad winter. Now that you’ve seen their faces and could identify them in a line- up, you lose appeal as a target.
2] If someone is coming toward you, hold out your hands in front of you and yell Stop or Stay back! Most of the rapists this man talked to said they’d leave a woman alone if she yelled or showed that she would not be afraid to fight back. Again, they are looking for an EASY target.
3] If you carry pepper spray (this instructor was a huge advocate of it and carries it with him wherever he goes,) yelling I HAVE PEPPER SPRAY and holding it out will be a deterrent.
4] If someone grabs you, you can’t beat them with strength but you can do it by outsmarting them. If you are grabbed around the waist from behind, pinch the attacker either under the arm between the elbow and armpit or in the upper inner thigh – HARD. One woman in a class this guy taught told him she used the underarm pinch on a guy who was trying to date rape her and was so upset she broke through the skin and tore out muscle strands the guy needed stitches. Try pinching yourself in those places as hard as you can stand it; it really hurts.
5] After the initial hit, always go for the groin. I know from a particularly unfortunate experience that if you slap a guy’s parts it is extremely painful. You might think that you’ll anger the guy and make him want to hurt you more, but the thing these rapists told our instructor is that they want a woman who will not cause him a lot of trouble. Start causing trouble, and he’s out of there.
6] When the guy puts his hands up to you, grab his first two fingers and bend them back as far as possible with as much pressure pushing down on them as possible. The instructor did it to me without using much pressure, and I ended up on my knees and both knuckles cracked audibly.
7] Of course the things we always hear still apply. Always be aware of your surroundings, take someone with you if you can and if you see any odd behavior, don’t dismiss it, go with your instincts. You may feel little silly at the time, but you’d feel much worse if the guy really was trouble.
FINALLY, PLEASE REMEMBER THESE AS WELL ….
1. Tip from Tae Kwon Do: The elbow is the strongest point on your body. If you are close enough to use it, do it.
2. Learned this from a tourist guide to New Orleans : if a robber asks for your wallet and/or purse, DO NOT HAND IT TO HIM. Toss it away from you…. chances are that he is more interested in your wallet and/or purse than you and he will go for the wallet/purse. RUN LIKE MAD IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!
3. If you are ever thrown into the trunk of a car: Kick out the back tail lights and stick your arm out the hole and start waving like crazy. The driver won’t see you but everybody else will. This has saved lives.
4. Women have a tendency to get into their cars after shopping, eating, working, etc., and just sit (doing their checkbook, or making a list, etc. DON’T DO THIS! The predator will be watching you, and this is the perfect opportunity for him to get in on the passenger side, put a gun to your head, and tell you where to go. AS SOON AS YOU CLOSE the DOORS , LEAVE.
5. A few notes about getting into your car in a parking lot, or parking garage:
a. Be aware: look around your car as someone may be hiding at the passenger side , peek into your car, inside the passenger side floor, and in the back seat. ( DO THIS TOO BEFORE RIDING A TAXI CAB) .
b. If you are parked next to a big van, enter your car from the passenger door. Most serial killers attack their victims by pulling them into their vans while the women are attempting to get into their cars.
c. Look at the car parked on the driver’s side of your vehicle, and the passenger side. If a male is sitting alone in the seat nearest your car, you may want to walk back into the mall, or work, and get a guard/policeman to walk you back out. IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY. (And better paranoid than dead.)
6. ALWAYS take the elevator instead of the stairs. (Stairwells are horrible places to be alone and the perfect crime spot).
7. If the predator has a gun and you are not under his control, ALWAYS RUN! The predator will only hit you (a running target) 4 in 100 times; And even then, it most likely WILL NOT be a vital organ. RUN!
8. As women, we are always trying to be sympathetic: STOP IT! It may get you raped, or killed. Ted Bundy, the serial killer, was a good-looking, well educated man, who ALWAYS played on the sympathies of unsuspecting women. He walked with a cane, or a limp, and often asked “for help” into his vehicle or with his vehicle, which is when he abducted his next victim.
Send this to any woman you know that may need to be reminded that the world we live in has a lot of crazies in it and it’s better safe than sorry.
If u have compassion reblog this post. ‘Helping hands are better than Praying Lips’ – give us your helping hand.

Stories for DT17
I already have two long DT stories, it will be related to the two characters that didn’t get their deserved time, Gladdy and Fethry.
The first one is related to Fethry and a family conflict.
The second one is related to Gladstone’s engagement that will lead to magical chaos.
Some drawings I uploaded are spoilers without context. Now I have the dilemma of making it as a comic (which would take me a while); a fic or a fic with some illustrations.
The first story is called “Family Root” and the second “The Pact with the De Spells”

Prompt: Gladstone feeling jealous when a wizard/magical fanatic starts flirting with Magica.
MAGICSTONE FOR THE WIN. I need more content for them, they just have such a fun dynamic. @roseprincess1994 @tree-wizard @abiskibita @darkmasterofcupcakes (once again I have no idea who I’m supposed to tag for magicstone fics XD)
Love! <3
It’s not exactly like they were ‘together’ or anything...
He had no reason to feel all the yucky, disgusting, stomach-twisting, anxious feelings that made him want to hurl over the nearby dumpster and just lay there for a few hours.
The whole event was, as Gladstone understood it, a comic-convention for witches and wizards and magical people of all sorts. Having gone on a number of adventures and wacky mishaps with his unlucky cousin, crazy cousin, adventurous cousin, and equally insane uncle, he was no stranger to the supernatural world. He even thought he recognized a couple of the attendees wandering the gymnasium. He learned quickly not to ask questions about why a bunch of magical people couldn’t afford better than a middle-school Halloween party.
And on top of it all, Magica hadn’t even asked him. He was walking through town, chasing a twenty-dollar bill, when he just so happened to walk over the magical manhole cover that led to the party. Magica was the only one who didn’t look like they wanted to turn him into a toad....well, she always looked like that, but he was reasonably sure she wouldn’t follow through with it. Mostly.
Turns out, for as unpopular as Magica was amongst most circles, to the wizards and sorcerers here, Gladstone suddenly realized he wasn’t the only man in the world to find her completely, totally, incredibly -
...
Infuriating. Yes, nothing more than infuriating.
Gladstone huffed and leaned against the padded gym wall, downing some hopefully-non-haunted punch down his throat. Who was he kidding? He was miserable because men were fawning all over Magica, he couldn’t do anything about it, and he liked her, okay? He liked her-liked her. Pretty appropriate that he’d be struggling with these thoughts in a stupid prom setting with purple lights and enchanted DJ pop music from the future blasting through the room. The floor squeaked under his white converse shoes and it was hot enough from all the magic and energy that his curls were becoming horribly undone - which was never good.
That laugh - he heard her laugh. He thought he was the only one who could make her laugh.
Under the force of his anger palm and furious knuckles the plastic cup crunched, spitting up his punch and drenching all over his coat, feathers, and the rest of his hair.
“Magica, it’s been so long, but you are still as horrifyingly as beautiful as the day we met. And, well, I really think I should admit...”
“Yes?”
Why did her voice have to sound so perfect? So sweet and slender and gentle, yet joyous and holding back emotion that she would only show as a treat to whoever she trusted enough. Why did he have to be here to witness this? Was his luck cursing him?
“...ever since the first convention, well, I...”
Gladstone chucked the cup into the garbage - a perfect shot - before storming out the doors and into the lonely, drafty hallway, drowning in an unwelcome barrage of painful high school memories he tried so hard to forgive and forget. He didn’t need this, he didn’t need this pain, and he certainly didn’t need to see some other guy with inky black hair and muscles from neck to ankle confess his undying love for Magica. They would be happy and together and date and get engaged and she’d laugh and love with him and who really cared what happened to Gladstone then.
The outside world really did live up to the October promises. Wind rushed at him so hard it was a struggle to shut the glass door behind him, and he had to pull his thin coat all the way up around his neck. He didn’t exactly know where he was, but anywhere was better than in there.
It turned out that he was only a town over from Duckburg, and he hopped on a bright-blue bus with no other passengers and sat in the way back, popping in his earbuds to Heart of Stone from his secret favorite musical. It started raining, which made him smile a little, resting his hot and sweaty forehead against the cool glass and shutting his eyes.
A little, tiny part of him had believed in the fairy tales Aunt Matilda would read to him, that Magica would come running after him, telling him she loved him, and they would live happily ever after. No such luck, apparently.
After a few run-through of his short playlist, the bus driver spoke up. “You okay back there, kid? Most people get motion sickness after five minutes in the backseat.”  Gladstone gave a polite smile. “I haven’t gotten sick since my brother Donald took me sailing. I don’t do well on boats.”
The bus driver chuckled. “Ya have got it easy compared to my brother. He never could handle any motion of any kind, really. Always had to sit in the front, hated the water, never road rollercoasters, y’know. Now that he’s gone I can’t do those things either, it’s weird,” he spoke strangely softly at the end of his sentence, and Gladstone faltered.
“I’m sorry...I do know what you mean, though. I lost my parents a while ago, and sometimes I still do the things they did, y’know?” Gladstone nearly chuckled in spite of his hanging, tearful brows as he recounted his beloved, warm mother and stern but caring father. “I make sure to get the mail in the morning like my mom always told me to, and I still don’t eat meat on Fridays like my dad.”
The bus driver hummed and nodded at that. He was silent for another three of Gladstone’s musical songs before speaking up again.
“So what were you doing down in this part of town? We don’t get many people over here, that’s why the bus is so empty.”
Gladstone, who had absolutely no sense of self-preservation or privacy, smiled, a little more pep back in his voice at the conversation. “I, well, let’s just say I accidentally popped in on a friend at her party.” Through the mirror he could see the bus driver raise a furrowed brow, and Gladstone laughed. “Yeah, yeah, I get it, where is she now? She’s still back there, it’s best if she’s without me anyway. Some guy started telling her all about how much he loved her or whatever, and I just...I didn’t need to see that.”
“You like this girl?”
Gladstone hesitated.
“Yeah. A lot, actually. It’s sort of complicated though. Like Romeo and Juliet, except we’re smarter than they are, but our families and situation are even stupider.” Gladstone sighed and skipped over the next song in his playlist. It was too sad for even his mood.
The bus driver gave a sad, sympathetic smile. “Tell me about her.”
He paused, but after a moment, smiled. This man reminded him of Uncle Scrooge. “Well, she’s a little weird...compared to most people today. But I really like that about her, because she’s always got a lot of emotions...and I’ms rot of weird too. We both don’t quite fit in, and it feels good to have someone who understands that about you. And even though this isn’t the most important thing, she’s beautiful, like, drop-dead gorgeous. She’s quiet at first, even a little standoffish, but once you’ve got her talking she’ll talk for hours on end into the early morning hours...”
Gladstone wasn’t sure how long he talked about her, the times they had run into each other, the fleeting moments when he almost thought something might happen, but it was long enough that by the time his voice started to go hoarse, they were pulling up to the bus stop in Duckburg. Gladstone smiled and walked back up to the front of the bus. “Thanks for the ride, and the talk. I needed it.”
The bus driver nodded and opened up the door. Gladstone only had one foot on the wet pavement when a familiar, gentle, Italian voice murmured back, “I needed it too.”
He froze.
It all happened much too fast. The bus disappeared beneath his feet and left him smacked on the wet sidewalk, face-first, but he scrambled anyway to turn around and get a good, long look, drinking in Magica’s appearance in the exact spot in space where the ‘bus driver’ had been.
“M-Magica?” A million thoughts rushed to the front of his head and he suddenly had a nasty headache.
The witch now sat on a broom, suspended in mid air, and floated over next to him to press a soft, daring kiss to his forehead. “You should take the bus more often, m’kay?”
Gladstone had no reply other than a dopey, dreamy stare, making Magica smirk before she ran a slender finger through his ruined curls and took off, vanishing into the cloud, October night.
He smiled as the rain poured down and the wind whistled and strangers looked at him funny. He smiled all the way home, he smiled as he fell asleep, and he was still smiling the next time he saw her.
He smiled even more to see that she smiled right back.
