An ask game specifically for self-inserts based very loosely on classic horror films, including some questions being about their presence/role in canon

Maverick wakes up with Johnny in her head and is immediately ready to fight. She has no idea what's going on, and even when the relic is explained to her, she still doesn't get it. Sure, she absolutely idolizes Johnny, for both aspects of the man. The music and the fight. I mean, she's got lyrics to Chippin' In inked on her back, for crying out loud. And sure, when she wakes up with the ghost of a rockerboy in her head, she acts like she has no clue who he is. Better than admitting she grew up on Samurai and Buck-A-Slice, idolizing the man she's now stuck with. Plus, he's a bit of an ass initially, so better to match his sarcasm and brash exterior until she figures him out. But after a while, she can't help but get attached to him, especially after he starts opening up to her a little more. The whole "would you take a bullet for me" exchange. "The Guy Who Saved My Life." "But i've managed one thing for now. Not to fuck this up, what we have." Sure, he might be the tapeworm in her head slowly killing her, but she'll be damned if she isn't starting to care about him. He might be a persistent headache, but he's her persistent headache and she wouldn't have it any other way.

Hello everyone! I'm pretty excited to announce that I'm bringing back an event from the early days of my old blog, that event being.... F/ovember!! 🎉🎉 But what is F/ovember, you may ask? Well, it's essentially a month-long f/o takeover event!

For the month of November, your f/os have free reign of your blog, and people are welcome to come ask them questions! You're also encouraged to go to others participating in the event and send questions for their f/os as well. You can even have your f/o be the one sending asks to others!

Don't worry though, you don't have to keep up the takeover for the entire month. You can drop in and out whenever you like! Whether you do it for a day, a week, or the whole month, you'll still be apart of the event!

If you decide to join in, you can even make a promo stating which f/os will be taking over your blog, which I absolutely encourage you to tag me in so I can give it a reblog. And be sure to tag any related posts and answers with the tag "f/ovember" as well!

This is a very casual event with no type of sign-up or moderation. However, I will ask that proshippers, comshippers, or anyone who matches my DNI does not tag me or use the f/ovember tag. Thank you for your understanding.

Share this with Bear please. If you're making the doc for yourself, then do Google docs, it's easy and always there for you. If you're doing it because you want your mutuals to read it, make a post because nobody really likes opening up docs and having said doc stuck in their drive system if that makes sense. Hope it helps.

Howdy Moxie!! You guess correctly, I do have an odd fascination with the ocean, hence the 'seasideselfships' user!! Great observation!  Domestic av.engers is 10/10 my comfort ship, to go back to when I need Soft Vibes. It's so fun to be a big ol found family!! As far as s/is, I would love for them to be friends, please-

Max and Xiomara would be such fun friends! I read a little of your s/i write-up, and I feel they'd get along swimmingly! They'd definitely have a bit to learn from each other, and I think they'd have fun teaching each other, maybe over tea!  And as far as Syntax, I play fast and loose with her story, so it wouldn't be much to move her to Xavier's!! She's been my ma.rvel and all related stuff s/i for ages and I kind of edit her backstory to fit her where I fit her. Would be very fitting though to add Xavier's to her timeline since I went back + rewatched the first couple movies + got Major Sibling Vibes from Charles - And yes FOB!!! There's mainly fob, a few p! ones and one or two mcr ones, bc I haven't grown out of my emo phase and I still love all that music, but I vibe super heavy with FOB so they got the honor of being most of my tags-

Now that I have successfully rambled a mile of stuff, on to answer questions! 👍The Good Part👍 ~ What moment made you realize that you had to be with your F/O?  For the Lo.st Bo.ys!  - I think the defining moment would be one night on the boardwalk, the boys stood up for Marina. As someone who had to hide what she was from her friends on shore in Key West, she was always afraid that revealing who she was would scare people away. And even knowing the boys weren't human, she was still wary. You never know how people will react. But one night she was alone before they got to the boardwalk, and they found her getting harassed by some ner-do-wells and scared them off. That was proof to Marina that they cared. 

🌃Chelsea Streets🌃 ~ If you could go anywhere, where would you and your F/O wanna vacation at? How would it go? With the Johnathan & the rest of the Byers fam + Hopper? Like a big family trip? Byers Hopper clan road trip? Oh boy. We'd probably embark on a massive camping trip, I wanna say north Michigan. Considering I'm familiar, it'd be super fun. Platte River Campground. I've got no clue if it was around in the 80s, but that's a great place for the fam to camp + see all the sights north Michigan has to offer, like porcupine mountain, the lake in the sky, and of course the bridge. 

🎶Overture🎶 ~ Tell us a few of your favorite/most important memories involving your F/O! With Stefan? OH boy... Even if it had alterior motives, the Mi.kaelson Ball! It was so fun. Getting dressed up, fancy party style. Dancing with Stefan, swoon.  A funnier memory is Stefan giving her the "I'm a vampire" speech and Max laughing and telling him she had a feeling, which leads to a conversation about her abilities.

actually re joking about being ‘the piracy friend’. do yourself a favour and stop relying on tumblr masterlists that are full of broken links and dodgy websites and just bookmark r/FREEMEDIAHECKYEAH’s piracy wiki (backup).

it’s the most comprehensive resource i’ve ever encountered my life and it’s also got so much extra stuff like decent free vpns/antivirus/adblock, a massive list of free software for almost every purpose you can think of, AND a list of custom search engines that mean you can search every site at once or you’re looking for something more obscure (this is how i seem to always have a link to literally anything)

there’s also this rentry, which i can vouch for less because i don’t use it so much but does have info on installing cracked versions of the more popular antivirus programs if you don’t want to pay but also don’t want to trust the free options lol

🎲Go On Take a Chance🎲 ~ Tell us about the most exciting thing you’ve ever done with your F/O! ​​​​​​​​​​​​​oh boy, most exciting? Exciting in a good way would have to be finally convincing him to run off with me for a weekend, which was probably the best weekend of our lives. We just drove off into the sunset and ate a bunch of junk and slept in the car. It was super fun, and I would definitely do it again if given the chance.

Exciting in a... less good way? That'd be the whole 'saving the world from monsters' part of being in Hawkins and being friends with the group we're in. We have done a substantial amount of monster battling. 🎶Overture🎶 ~ Tell us a few of your favorite/most important memories involving your F/O! Most important memories? Those all fall within the last few years. Being by his side after Will disappeared is high up on the list, considering he was there for his mom but didn't have anyone there for him, until I stepped up. Finding the monster in his pictures, going after it. Definitely a bonding experience that one. But I'd have to say, the best experience was prom. Jon didn't think that he was gonna go but he decided last minute to ask after being goaded by his mom. I agreed and it was the best best best night of all time together. 🛏Big White Bed🛏 ~ What’s your and your F/O’s dream home? Oh boy, probably somewhere in Hawkins. Bigger and better than Jon's place now. Space to grow the family, a big yard, y'know. Outside of downtown but not on the outskirts in the middle of nowhere. A happy, suburban life. We don't need anything big and fancy.

And np!! I love meeting new people and Tumblr is a great place to do it. TLB is one of my favorite movies too!!!
