it amazes me how ellie's "tough guy" demeanor is totally different when she's not with joel. it's like. having him present and close gives her this extra security so that she can seem more confident in what she's saying. her threats are more consistent and even more creative and sarcastic because she knows joel is there to protect her anyways. but now that she's facing these men alone??? her voice is higher and less steady, much more child-like. her threats are repetitive and not as cocky, she can't mask her fear through this dangerous demeanor as well as before because she's not only afraid that joel's not there, but also that they might find him and attack him in a moment in which he's too vulnerable to protect himself. the LAYERS

omg i watched this Encanto disney movie and, oh my, as much as they were talking about this camillo character i thought he had a little more protagonism or a really important role. He barely speaks two sentences and doesn't even have a song of his own, like isabela and luisa have.

Anyway, I was a little disappointed with that, but I loved the movie, the songs are just perfect, all the colors and characters (even if a little poorly developed) are great and even the mirabel itself is amazing, so it was a good movie in the end of everything.

but, if the ending had been a little more elaborate, more explained and less rushed, it would have been really perfect, because the film and all its aesthetics are already beautiful in themselves, and the story is also very good, but it didn't go very well finished in my opinion. But that doesn't make it a junk movie. It was a very good experience, a nice movie to watch and more than expected from a Disney movie that always delivers everything.

mds eu assisti esse filme encanto da disney, e minha nossa, pelo tanto que tavam falando desse personagem camillo eu pensei que ele tivesse um pouco mais de protagonismo ou papel importante de fato. Ele mal fala duas frases e nem tem uma música própria, como a da luisa e da isabela

enfim, fiquei um pouco decepcionada com isso, porém amei o filme, as musicas são simplesmente perfeitas, todas as cores e personagens (mesmo que um pouco mal desenvolvidos) são ótimos e até a própria mirabel é incrivel, então foi um bom filme no fim de tudo.

mas, se o final tivesse sido um pouco mais elaborado, mais explicado e menos corrido teria sido realmente perfeito, porque o filme e toda a estética dele já são bonitos por si só, e a história também é muito boa, mas não foi muito bem finalizada na minha opinião. Mas não faz dele um filme lixo. Foi uma experiência muito boa, um filme gostoso de assistir e mais do que esperado de um filme da Disney que sempre entrega tudo.
