It was only until he was around 13/14 that he realized what his mother had built around him, why people would be so happy or disappointed in him whenever they saw him. He learned that the colors of his cursed technique shifted their 'karma wallet' as he liked to put it. Yellow was neutral, essentially a Good Fortune. Black was a bad fortune, grey a neutral but often bad fortune, blue a very good fortune, white a wonderful fortune, and Red a Great fortune. This luck or karma, or lack of, would either lead people to great things happening in their lives, or death and misfortune. In his opinion, the best outcome was Yellow, that way nothing too dramatic would happen too fast. And it meant no deaths or misfortune would occur in this stranger's life. No suffering was a good thing, wasn't it? After one particularly bad day, Ryu had decided to run away, far away, he didn't know what trains he had gotten on but he had gotten on them without a second thought. He couldn't take the mental anguish anymore and just wanted to be free. It was only until he happened upon a woman, short in stature, ashen brown hair, and notably deaf, that he stopped running. She could see he was malnourished, pale, and in desperate need of some warmth. With a gentle smile and a promise of better times, he agreed to follow her to her workplace. A Host Club called The Lucky Cat. Well, it wasn't just a Host club. It also doubled as a brothel, but no employee would ever say that to complete strangers.
There, he met the rest of the woman's 'family'. Her name was Kuromi, a tall brunette with dark blue eyes was named Hayato, a shorter orange haired man was named Aiko, a tall foreign woman named Helena, and a much too tall bartender by the name of Zetta. They were a very odd group, but the moment they laid eyes on the boy, they made sure to make him feel welcomed and comforted. It honestly didn't take long for them to all get attached. The boy had a creative mind and a willingness to learn and help those around him. Hayato in particular got close to him, even going so far as to call him his 'cousin' which Ryu happily parroted. If he had to assign any sort of familial role to them, Aiko would be his brother, Zetta his dad, and Kuromi and Helena his mothers. Despite their line of work, they were the most welcoming people he had ever met. And he was so happy to know and be with them. They taught him how Curses worked, gave him a basic but in depth run down of how Cursed Techniques worked, though none of them could help him master his own technique. That was all on him on the account that all of their techniques were vastly different from his. But he was grateful for the help regardless and honed what he could. Eventually finding that he not only could affect someone's karmic wallet, but create these paintings that could be used as traps. Aiko liked to call it Looney Tunes tricks, especially since he could just make a puddle on the ground and have it act as a well if he so desired. This worked with wall or floor paintings as well, whatever he perceived the painting to be, it would be. A tunnel? It was so. A path to the forest? It was so. A puddle that was deeper than the street itself? It was so. Not all happiness lasts, however. His mother eventually found where he had gone to after a year of searching for her money maker. How she found him, Ryu suspected one of the customers was also a customer of his at some point, or perhaps a friend of his mother's, and ran to tell her his whereabouts. Regardless of how she found out, she came with backup. Cursed Users she had paid a small fortune to get him back to her along with herself. He was forced to hide despite his protests, but the Cats assured him all would be fine. He should have been with them. It was only when the ruckus had started to quiet down did he come out of his hiding spot, only to find half the building destroyed and bodies littering the ground. Some he didn't recognize, while others...he unfortunately did. Kuromi and Aiko laid lifeless on the ground with Zetta's still form crouching beside them. He had tried to protect them, but it wasn't enough. Helena wasn't too far, but she had a smile on her face. And by the entrance, Hayato stood defiantly despite his injuries before the woman who had ruined his cousin's life. She had nary a scratch on her, maybe scuffed here and there, but it was like she was untouched. Was she hiding as well? That coward. Hayato didn't move, he just kept staring defiantly despite all the life having left him. All to protect what was most important to him. He didn't know why. He knew he shouldn't have. But Ryu couldn't believe, or didn't want to believe what he was seeing. His mother, the cause of all this grief, stood fine, laughing even at her victory despite the losses. But his family? Dead. Gone. No. He couldn't lose them, he just couldn't accept that! Why did she have to live when they died!? From their lifeblood, growling grew and grew, along with amorphous forms taking shape.
Tumblr media
Kuromi, or rather Suzaku now, took the form of the Phoenix. Or the amalgamation of the sacred beast, with her primary function being Healing.
Tumblr media
Helena, or now Genbu, took the form of the auspicious tortoise with her main function now being barriers.
Tumblr media
Aiko, or now Byakko, took the form of the sacred white tiger. His function being hypnosis.
Tumblr media
Zetta took the form of Seiryu, with his main function being Vitality boost. If Ryu could still stand, he could fight with this strong dragon backing him up.
Tumblr media
And finally, Hayato, now taking on the form of the Golden Dragon. His main functionality is Fusion, but his agility alone is enough to overwhelm an enemy. Without realizing, Ryu had created curses out of his friends, which proceeded to devour and tear apart the person that had ruined his happiness. He just wanted them back in his life, he wasn't aware he could curse them all with such a desire. Yet, despite their new 'lives' as curses, they seemed to listen to him and follow his orders. But acted hostile when he was threatened. The only way he found to contain them was in a bead necklace Kuromi had made him for his birthday. They each resided in a bead until they were called upon, agreeing to only come out one at a time. He was soon taken into custody by the Jujutsu tech school in Tokyo, where he was deemed a threat but also an asset. The only reason he wasn't sentenced was due to, in his own words, pure luck. Perhaps the higher ups knew he was too depressed to pose any real threat or because the curses were contained securely, he honestly couldn't give a straight answer on the subject. To cut a long story short, during the Star Child incident where Toji catches Gojo and Geto off guard, Ryu joined in on the mission as well. However, while he wanted to act as further defense for Geto and Riko, the Sorcerer hunter made easy work of Helena's barriers and proceeded to incapacitate Ryu. As he lay on the ground in his own blood, watching as Kuromi failed to heal him as best she could, he began to cry. He could not extend his CT to any of them. They were all weak because of his unwillingness to let go of the past and let them pass on. And so, after he was healed and after the incident had passed, he let them go. Each and every one of his family, even if they didn't want to(Hayato), he allowed them to move on instead of suffer in this endless cycle of weakness and sadness. To make up for his new lack of curses, he took the time to create Shikigami in their likenesses. In doing so, he imposed a rule to them through his CT: He could summon two at a time, but their power was limited to if their colors matched. For instance, Suzaku and Seiryu could be summoned together at their full potential because Red and Blue were at the opposite ends of the spectrum. If he summoned Suzaku with Byakko, their power would be halved because of their colors not being at opposite sides of the color wheel. He has thought of a workaround for this rule, calling it Color Shift, but even then, he has to think carefully of who would work better for the job he was currently on. The Golden Emperor is the only exception to this rule, being able to match with any one of the other beasts, but again, only two can be summoned at a time. I am still working on his Domain Expansion as well as other details of his CT. This show has sooo much potential for all it's characters, so I'm going all out with this, too. Like Curse Amplification, Curse Reversal, things of that nature. It's just really cool in my mind. I should definitely color in these beasts at least, though.

To preface, I had the idea of Ryu, full name Ryunosuke Fischer, having been a child cult leader, which he didn't even know he was until he was older. His mother essentially pulled the strings on that, seeing that his Cursed Technique could really draw a crowd and a profit in one fell swoop. I never went into detail about either of them on here or anywhere on any of my blogs, but originally, Ryu was a Persona 5 OC and he's remained largely unchanged throughout the fandoms I put him in. He's always had an interest in the Fine Arts, Law, Fencing, and his Found Family at the Lucky Cat. I do have a short drabble on my AO3 account Faux-Dreams if you'd like to check that out. Anyway, Ryu's CT, Which I will now name Les Fauves, started off as a completely supportive role ability. It appeared as a young child, when he would touch his parents and leave a colorful residue behind. They found their luck had gone up or down or stayed stagnant depending on the color. His father was more caring about the discovery, praising his son for such a wonderful gift, but encouraging him to not overdo it. His mother, on the other hand, saw this as an opportunity she would not soon squander. She essentially kidnapped him, disappearing without a trace with her boy from Hawaii to her native Japan, where she touted the boy as a miracle worker, able to change one's life with the slightest touch. Of course, she would have people pay to have them be touched by him. And when these people found that their luck had changed for the better, they kept coming back for more of these miracles. Being a child, Ryu didn't mind any of this attention. Even when he felt lonely, seeing peoples' smiling faces brightened his day. Blue, White, Red, these were the colors those who could see the paint-like substance hoped to see. Black, grey, yellow, people would grimace at these. Those who could not, would simply be happy with what they got...as long as fortune was at the end of the trail. Being a child, he had no control over what color came out. It just depended on how he felt that day, if he was tired, stressed, hungry, anything. When people looked upset, he would get upset, and more often than not, yellow and grey would come out. His mother would pick up on this pattern, and soon, she would just cover his face with a paper she wrapped around a bit of cloth. The only thing he'd be able to see were the worshiper's hands. But this proved to only make him more depressed. He liked making people happy, if he made them happy, then his mama would be happy, and when she was happy, she would hug him and not yell at him. If he couldn't do that, then she'd just yell and yell and yell...and sometimes beat him for not getting it together.

Here we go again with another hyperfixation
So...I've gotten into JJK recently. I have my gripes with the story, mostly in a 'did this character really need to die?' sort of way and some characters I don't tend to enjoy a whole lot even though I can wholeheartedly say they're fine as a person(does that make sense? I don't think it does). In fact, this series is one I tend to not like, what with many cliches and predictability...but I really enjoy the fights and the structures the story was built upon. I won't say it fully deep dives into Buddhism, what with there being so so many branches of it(and Heian era having a whole different kind of beast of Buddhism), but it does such a good job at portraying it in subtle ways(or overt ways if you grew up with the religion). Like, I've always been interested in Buddhism and learning more about it, whether that be through books or finding a temple near me(which I only have one apparently and me being a social introvert(haha I work at a fucking grocery store, thank you irony) makes me nervous to attend in a lesson.), so seeing the mudras and the 'quotes'(I put that in quotes only because the 'Throughout Heaven and Earth, I Alone am the Honored One' line is specific to Japan from what I could find and like I said earlier, there are many branches of Buddhism, many teachings, and many interpretations in the East and Southeastern Asian nations where it is/was practiced for millennia, so not everything may exactly match) really really got my goat. And then the Death Paintings really intrigued me and got me deep diving even more into it, it's just a very very good time. I am most likely going to buy books on the different branches and just binge them when I get the chance. Anthropology, mythology, all sorts of cultures have always interested me and this is genuinely something I want to dive into. All that to say is I made Ryu into a character yet again for this show as well. Is it super late and I know no one will probably read this? Yeah. But I'd like to just get this outta my head so I can move on with my life and do something maybe productive. I haven't drawn him in his outfits yet, but I have drawn Shikigami for him and I'll go into detail about them below the break. OR I GUESS IN ANOTHER POST CUZ FUCK ME AND THE WEIRD ASS CHARACTER LIMIT I GUESS.

Should I just make a AO3 post? That doesn't feel right. I want to go into detail about something I'm writing for Ryu but when did Tumblr add a character limit? This isn't Twitter, why is there a character limit? Like, I spent a lot of time writing it all out but...it kept giving me an error? When did they implement this? Either way, would anyone be interested in even reading about an OC modified for JJK? I just feel like that's not what AO3 is meant for and I would feel bad if I filled a byte of data for just some weirdo yapping about their character. Alll that I know is that I'm upset lol I wound up scheduling the whole thing _IN THREE/FOUR SEPARATE POSTS_ Who's running this ship? I demand to speak to them. I want their supervisor.

I desperately need to figure out how to make his clothes look less blah, then again, this is a sketch. But I do still need to work on it more. This is Ryu's design for Trigun. Or at least in the present day. I'm thinking about making a 'Before Meeting Knives' design but it might not look that different. I also want to make a (possibly) Three-shot or Two-shot for him just to get his backstory and resolution down in canon. I also want to make a '98 Trigun One-shot for him, too, but that one needs a bit more planning than what I currently have in mind.

So like What's the general consensus of using the same OC for multiple fandoms? Cuz I watched Stampede like a month ago, read through the entire manga, and finally finished the '98 anime(I last watched it when I was like 7 or 8) last night and I'm just Feeling inspired And I just love this OC I made a long time ago, I essentially use him for mostly everything now. I know I'm pathetic, hush. But I can ramble about this OC for days with backstory for different verses as well as a general background and the other OCs I've incorporated into his story. He's just so versatile but also so fun to write with. Like a little egg of putty. But I also gotta work on rebranding this blog cuz I do wanna start just using it as a creative outlet for when I do feel inspired to write things. Or draw things that I manage to actually make myself finish for once. Lord knows twitter ain't the answer.

“Had I known this mission would be so taxing, I would have brought more jerky.” A rattle of a pill bottle echoed through the spacious gallery. “And more iron supplements.” The redhead sighed as he placed the bottle back into his coat pocket. This trip to Fortuna had put quite the strain on him and his supplies, but he wouldn't say he regretted coming along. Not entirely. Being a defender of the public, specifically of children, as well as a victim of a cult, Ryu found himself compelled to help rid the city of whatever was plaguing it. This could have been one and done, Dante had been close to finishing their target off, but that kid just had to come along and play hero. He couldn't entirely blame him for attacking him on sight...Dante did 'assassinate' him during a sermon of all things. He was always one for theatrics, it wasn't out of character at all, but he wished he at least thought this through before committing. Now they were split up and this citadel was nothing short of a giant maze.      At least he found himself in a somewhat familiar setting of an art gallery. No doubts it was an accumulation of the city's history and culture through the ages, something any church would want to keep on display. There were both massive and normal sized paintings, mostly of Sparda(or, rather their interpretation of Sparda) while some drew emphasis to a goat with pure white fur. Sometimes, the goat would be replaced with a winged man, while other paintings seemed to try to mix the two together. It was clear that this character was important in their pantheon, but who it was, he couldn't entirely tell. Regardless, the paintings were wonderful quality and very well taken care of. There was nary a crack or any signs of warping on any of them, which was an amazing feat in and of itself. “It is a shame that we can't take any of these with us. That one there is a particularly fine looking goat man, if I do say so myself. What do you think, Azazel?” He hummed, stopping to admire one of the portraits of this strange character, only to frown as he felt what he could only describe as a distaste for everything in this room. Azazel often couldn't use words, so He just let Ryu feel what He thought instead. “You hate it...Do you know this character?” The demon residing within him was centuries, if not millennia old, so surely He knew who this was especially if He held such a large amount of disgust towards these paintings.      He remained silent, however, and urged the man to keep moving. The redhead tilted his head in wonder before shrugging it off and continued on walking down the grey hall. If He wanted to tell him, He would tell him. There was no need to pry when he shouldn't.      As he walked down the hall, a large pair of doors came into view. There was no placard to tell visitors or observers what was in this room, so it was a complete memory what lay beyond here. “Curious...” He looked to the side and saw a Lion Headed Goddess statue. “Curiouser.” He decided to entertain the statue and presented a hefty amount of red orbs to Her. “You have anything good for me? Jerky or Iron pills perhaps?” He joked, of course he wasn't expecting a response at all from the lovely Goddess, however, the orbs disappeared from his hand and in their place appeared three green stars. Not exactly what he was looking for, but they were helpful nonetheless. “Loaʻa iā ʻoe kaʻu Mahalo.” He bowed his head to Her before placing the stars in his pocket, then placed his hands on the large double doors.      With a heave, the doors creaked open and the sounds of flames could be heard almost immediately. Looking up, Ryu saw a large room with pillars standing symmetrically on each side. And at the far end stood a stone tablet as well as an incredibly large statue of what looked like a dragon with a goat's face and large angelic wings. The anger and disgust Azazel fed him grew more intense, causing the man to nearly wretch at the feeling. He didn't understand, but he soon would as he walked closer to the tablet.                                            'Azazel, Sparda's first Apostle      Thrown from the Heavens above for daring to aid us meager Humans in our time of need, Azazel swore himself to Our Heavenly Father, Sparda. He adored us Humans as if we were His own and died to liberate us from our enslavement. A mighty Wyrm in battle, yet gentle as a Lamb to His flock. May He ever watch over us as Our Heavenly Father does and protect us in our time of need.'      “They...think you're an apostle of Sparda? Did you ever meet Sparda?”      'Viscous Mockery...Sparda...was a comrade...I...Never fought alongside him, but...I did help humans. Before I was trapped...Taught humans...as a way to help his efforts.' Ryu had to admit, he never thought he'd see the day that Azazel was so talkative. Usually He gave him one worded responses or just gave him His emotions. This must have really riled Him up and he could understand why now. Having your memory disgraced and the truth stretched so thin was insulting at best.      “So you were a teacher of sorts. And being thrown out of heaven?”      'Sin...Fell...in love.'      “I don't think it's a sin to fall in love. Sounds to me you were more human than your superiors would have liked.” There was a faint chuckle echoing in his head, another first for his demon companion. Then a resounding 'Dimwits' entered his mind and it was Ryu's turn to chuckle. Little did the two notice that the statues bright red eyes had begun to move, watching the redhead as he talked. It could sense the blood within him, something it wanted so desperately in order to be whole.      There was a faint rumbling by the massive statue, cracks appearing in the wall as it began it's full awakening. It's tail whipped free first, leaving behind the imprint in the wall in order to slam down onto the platform before it. Ryu jumped out of the way of the hulking stone, dusting off his suit as he landed on his feet again. “I was wondering when you would wake up. My blood was boiling the moment I stepped foot in here. What is with churches and statues, anyway? It's like they're trying to impress an ex or something.” He joked as a stream of blood pooled into his hand and turned into a rapier. With a loud growl, the statue broke completely free of it's confines against the wall, leaving a perfect indent behind.      “You...will be what completes me. I...will reign with Our Savior.” It's two front claws dug deep into the marble platform, it's six eyes staring intently at the meager human before it. “And none...will stop me!!” It reeled it's head back as a bright white orb charged up in it's mouth. The redhead dodged out of the way as a beam of pure light hit the ground. He hid behind one of the many pillars as the statue craned it's neck upward to try and catch him.      “So what's the weakness? I assume it has something to do with all those spears sticking out of it. Or how about that big blue crack on it's chest?” Peaking from behind the pillar, Ryu tried to give Azazel the best look at the creature before either made any attack plans. It would just lead to an early death if they dashed into battle all willy-nilly, after all.      'Crack...source of power...sense...concentrated energy...from there. Weapons...should help...'      “Attack it with it's own design...how poetic.”      “You cannot hide from me!!” Swiping it's massive claw across the arena, Ryu again dashed out of his hiding spot to get somewhere safer, though at the rate this thing was raging, he wouldn't have much place else to go soon. He ran towards it, keeping an eye on it's other claw and head as he did, and lifted his sword into a stabbing position.      “Let's see what this does for you, hm?” Before he could reach the crack, however, the other claw came down on him. Thinking quickly, Ryu jabbed his blood sword into one of the seams on the statue's hand, causing something to drip out of it and trickle onto his face. “Blood?”      'Not...demon...' It was such a sickly orange and black color, like it was an amalgamation of man made and something rotted. Azazel couldn't feed from this and if He tried, who knew what it would do to Him and His host. With the decision made to not experiment with this fluid, the redhead sliced through the seam with ease, severing whatever connective tissue lay beneath the stone facade. The creature screamed as it's claw fell limp and lost strength, causing it to tumble as it tried to catch itself with it's other hand.      “It even smells rotten.” He coughed out as he tried to clean his face of the fluid to no avail. The creature's wings stretched open and with a powerful flap it was able to keep itself steady in the air while a gust kicked up around the room. The man kept himself steady on his feet as he tried to keep an eye on it's movements, but there was a lot more dust in this arena than he expected there to be.      “How...dare you harm me!!” The creature roared once more before rearing it's tail up and spun, causing it to sweep across the room with breakneck speed. Azazel tried to warn His companion, but even He was too late on the draw. The stone slammed into Ryu's body, knocking him into the nearby wall. He coughed violently as he landed, blood sputtering from his lips as he did. His own blood. He cursed his body, but thanked his companion for at least cushioning the blow with His own blood just above all the sensitive bits and bobs. The attack could have easily shattered his ribcage and even broke his spine without His aid. It still hurt, though.      Pulling out one of the green stars, Ryu crushed it in his hand and immediately he could feel himself able to breathe easily again. “Alright...okay...New strategy.” He coughed again and stumbled slightly as he stood back up, only to glare confidently back at the dragon-goat creature. “It's not so fair that you're able to fly, now is it? What say we level the playing field?” There was a low growl rumbling in his throat as blood seeped across his body, only to suddenly harden into crystalline plate armor. On his back, two large demonic wings stretched out, while large horns appeared at his hairline and smaller horns dotted beneath his eyes. With a powerful pump of his blood wings, he was airborne and flew to the statue with ease. “You aren't allowed to use this anymore.” Making a sharp turn, he dug his sword into a seam on the creature's one good arm and sliced through with ease. It screamed once more and tried to follow him upward only to wince and roar as it felt the spears and swords embedded into it's stony flesh be ripped out.      Another scream echoed into the arena as Ryu plunged the plundered weapons into the large blue crack in it's chest and with a spin and a pump of his wings, he moved out of the way before it could bring it's maw down upon him. “Get it out! Get it out!!” The creature was panicking as it tried to clear the stuck weapons away from it's weak spot with it's useless hands, only for it to scream again as it felt more of the weapons being torn from it's back and neck. It flailed it's head around, charging another beam of light and just letting the stream go wherever it desired in it's panic. “I will not be undone! I cannot be undone! I am Azazel, the first Apostle! You will bow to me!” It's voice stopped short as another sword was plunged into the large blue crystal, it's body hovering for but a moment in the silence of the air. “You are not Azazel. The Azazel I know was wronged in more ways than I can count. His love of humans far outmatches your own. So be quiet and die peacefully.”      Ryu kicked back away from the statue, letting it fall unceremoniously to the ground. It's wings fell limp and it's mouth hung open as if it were truly alive once. Landing back on the ground, the redhead couldn't contain another round of coughing. His lungs hurt and he felt even more tired than he had before. But the fight was over and another demon was kept from wreaking havoc upon Fortuna. He was at least grateful for that. The armor that adorned him shattered and turned to dust in the wind. The fight was done, it was no longer needed. He pulled out his bottle of iron supplements and quickly downed a pill or two the best he could without a drink. The recoil from this fight wasn't going to be pretty and he knew he needed to try and ease it as much as he could.      “I...will not be...undone...” A woman's feeble voice echoed in the now deathly silent room, a squelching noise following after. The redhead froze up as did his blood. The voice was all too familiar. “I will rise...I will reign with Our Savior...” Walking quickly, Ryu leapt over the large stone arm and beheld what was coming out of the blue crystal. “We will be all powerful...we will rule this feeble world...lead it...to salvation...” The figure was near unrecognizable, her skin was so slimy, so unnaturally colored, and her body was so thin. How long had she been in this statue? Since he was a child? Since his escape?      “Himari!” The woman stopped trying to crawl and looked towards the boy that she once ruled over. Her eyes, in all their unnatural appearance, still caused his blood to boil and his arms to ache. All the agony, all the screaming, all the pain...Even after 27 years, it was still so fresh in his mind. He didn't know how she escaped his rampage, perhaps she had hid like she normally would if anything dangerous seemed to be happening, perhaps she ran before the final experiment, he didn't know. But it was clear now what had become of her, this sorry excuse for a human turned horrifying experiment herself. All for what? Power? Fame? Glory? He didn't know. He didn't want to know. He stepped closer to her, her eyes following him with something akin to fear...or possible hatred.      “You...have all this...you...should thank--” She was unable to finish her sentence as he plunged his rapier straight into her forehead.      “Rest. Heal. E ʻae i ka honua e hoʻihoʻi iā ʻoe.” He could only offer a short prayer to the woman before ripping his blade from her.      There was a long silence as he made his exit of the gallery and found his way back towards the city. Azazel could feel all the conflicting feelings within His host, and while He could say for certain He was glad the final string to his past was cut, He did not know if He could say the same for him. 'Heal...Happy...'      “It's so weird...isn't it? That I pity that woman instead of feel immense satisfaction of her fate?” The demon hummed in thought before the feeling of His blood squeezing in certain places came over the man. Ryu smiled if only slightly. It was His form of a hug, the best He could give to him. He patted his own shoulder and nodded.      'Normal...Normal...'      “Thank you, my friend.”      Stumbling again, Ryu could feel the affects of the battle starting to take it's toll on his body. The Vitality Stars could only do so much, they were more like a cup of coffee than anything. What he needed was actual meat or even blood to replenish him. Something he had neither of. Before he felt himself hit the ground, a hand grabbed his arm to keep him upright and steady. “Whoa there, what happened to you? You're paler than a sheet.” Looking back, the redhead smiled at the familiar presence of his business partner.      “What of you? You look like you went a few rounds with a rose bush.”      “Long story. Here.”      “Hey...there's no need.” Dante lifted Ryu up into his arms with ease. He always seemed to handle him like he was lighter than a feather. And he supposed he was to him, he did have inhuman strength, after all. But still, this was on the more embarrassing side, being carried around like a fragile flower, which he insisted he wasn't. “How's the kid doing?” He conceded at least, and instead put the focus on Nero, the one anomaly in this city.      “Oh you know, bein' cocky, got himself trapped in a statue, gettin' cozy with that demon hand of his. But he made it farther than I expected him to. Might just even let him keep the Yamato.” He raised a brow when he heard Ryu chuckling.      “You must have a lot of confidence in him to let him keep it. Didn't think you had a soft spot for kids.”      “Ehh just this one. If you could see him fight, you'd understand. This looks like a good spot.”      Walking over to an alley, nicely tucked away from the hubbub going on around them, the man set Ryu down to rest and regain his strength. “You stay here, got that? Don't even think about following after me until you're done being exhausted.” He dug into his pocket and pulled out a bag of jerky which immediately made the redhead perk up. “Just have the whole bag. Don't fall too far behind, Ryu.” He ran his thumb over his cheek before standing straight up again and walking off.      Ryu wasted no time getting to his jerky, chewing and gulping like an animal the entire time. 'Sin...Do you...love him...?' Ryu stopped chewing for a moment to process what Azazel had asked him before a gentle smile adorned his face.      “I probably have since the first time we met. Why do you ask?”      'You are...Happy...Warm...With him.'      “Does it feel familiar? Like with the one you loved?”      'Yes...Very...'

Nico Character Report – Ryunosuke Fischer This learned lookin' man here's name is Ryunosuke Fischer. He introduces himself as Fischer and that's what we're gonna do here cuz fuck typin' out all that. Don't let his professional appearance fool you, he may be an amicus curiae by day, but by night, he's a bonafide demon hunter! A damn good one at that, he's been doin' this for 20 and more years! You wouldn't expect it from him with that pretty face of his. Like Trish, he's Dante's partner in the business. What would that be called? Amicus diaboli? Amicus venatoris?Regardless, he's been there since the beginning of it all and his skills prove it. But uh...don't tell him, this, but that blood thing he's got goin' on? Kinda gives me the creeps, bein' able to control his blood like that. He swears up and down he's human, but I dunno if I want to believe that one. And even his blood seems to be sentient! It can't talk or nothin, but I swear it mocks me whenever it just turns into somethin' I could just easily whip up. The little shit. Creepy or not, though, I really wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that rapier of his. Despite his skills at being a zippy little thing, that demon king still rocked his world. Just what in the world CAN beat that thing? Nico Character Report – Devil Knight Fischer Now this is a form that can whip even the biggest and baddest of demons into shape! It's like his blood crystallizes into armor or somethin', not just turning into weapons! He's even got horns to intimidate those little bastards further. Gotta admit, I'm a little jealous he can just whip that out willy nilly. Or at least when he starts gettin' his shit kicked in. You could say he pulls this trick out of his briefcase when the goin' gets tough and I do not blame him. It looks like he hits harder in this mode to boot—AND I REITERATE: I do not want to be on the receiving end of that rapier of his when he gets this serious. Now, the drawback of this fancy suit of crystallized armor is the fact: this is his damn blood! He can't keep this form up for long or consistently or else he drops like a fly immediately after! And yet here he is, just usin' it willy nilly like it's no big thang and he acts surprised when he drops to the floor once he's all done. I don't know how Dante deals with it, but Lady sure seems to give him an earful whenever he recovers. And I know just how heated she can get. Honestly, you'd think he'd be okay with being en banc when he gets beat up, but here he is, just using his blood as armor like he's some kinda knight...hold on. Nico Character Report – Azazel So this is what's goin' on with Fischer's blood! This little number is called 'Azazel', apparently He was a demon used by the cult Vetus Sanguis as a way to rid themselves of their sins. Pretty much, He and a host were scapegoats just because of some superstition. And that host happened to be Fischer. Now, I don't know how either of them escaped that cult, I've never even heard of them...But they've got friends in Nero and I. Hell, I bet even Kyrie would befriend the thing. From what I understand, Fischer and Azazel weren't very close and more or less thought of one another as a means to an end at first. But the way he just talks to himself sometimes nowadays, that's friendship. They learned to like each other despite both just being a habeas corpus to their asshole cult and boy does it show in how they fight. Acquaintances wouldn't be able to work as insync as those two do. Hell, Nero won't even treat my babies as good as these two treat one another! He should learn a thing or two from them. Despite their clear symbiotic relationship, it appears Azazel still takes too much fill of Fischer's blood, leaving him with chronic anemia. I'm sure the thing would cut back if He understood how much of  a drain he was on him, but I guess there's nothing better than some fresh blood for a demon to chew on. He can't even speak or convey complete thoughts, so it's not like any of us could tell Him he's being a little bitch. They've both survived for this long, though, so they must be doing somethin' right.

I know you guys. You like sin. You like the nitty gritty of a good horror mystery and innuendos.  Why not give TouchStarved a shot? There’s a free demo on Steam right now where you can play the intro, which is a good 1-2 hours long if you’re not a speed reader(lord knows I’m not).  But wait ‘Faux’ I hear you cry, ‘Will my queer ass be really satisfied with another Otome game? Or am I just a whiney MC that needs their hand held and my pronouns disregarded?’ To that I say, worry not. TouchStarved is a game for queer folk and the team developing it are also queer and POC. As a gay trans man, it does my heart good to actually see a VN take pronouns/gender identity seriously instead of brushing them aside and calling it weird(Lookin at you, Mystic Messenger). On the Kickstarter page, you can see the full list of Love Interests, their pronouns, and the beginning curiosities of each of their storylines. And if there’s anything I know from the amounts of sick nasty requests I’ve gotten, y’all will just love Leander. Personally? I love me the whore of a monster Vere and Ais being a close second.  You can donate whatever you have available to the kickstarter, there’s only 14-ish hours left and I foolishly only just now thought ‘maybe I should, you know...talk about it now that I’m using tumblr again.’ I’ve already donated what I could afford and am getting the sweet physical artbook. And if you pledge to a tier with a physical reward(or just add one to what you can afford in your manual pledge), you will get two exclusive backer gifts, one being a postcard of the very first artwork made for the game. I love me some art, so knowing that just tightened my britches a little bit.  Some of you may also notice that some of these lovely developers worked on the Arcana as either artists or writers. Well, lemme stop you right there, pal. A majority of the team didn’t even get to work on the Arcana or with Nyx Hydra for long or at all, so don’t you dare compare the two. This is a completely new IP in the VN genre and the developers would love it if you just viewed it as that, as stated in their livestream. Personally, I was very relieved to learn that considering what a shitshow not only the Arcana was as a game(with all the microtransactions and whatnot), but the whole kickstarter for that game was something else entirely. And that’s why I was very confident in donating to this project, because they had nothing to do with any of that mess. So whatever you decide to do, I hope you at least give the demo for TouchStarved a chance and if you can, donate to the kickstarter. It’s a Gothic Horror Mystery Romance kind of game and it does feel like it’ll emphasize more of the Mystery and Horror elements rather than purely mushy romance. And I’m down for that. I’m already drawing up one of my favorite OCs with the template they put out (Found Here) and am going to lose my mind for the next ~2 years before the game is fully out.

Ahh okay, gotcha. I think that helps, I'll have to mess with the tabs once I get back on my computer.
As for kokobot, here's an example of the spam. It does seem helpful in it's own way, but also like it really just wants to get your info for ads or targeted searches when you go into different tags

Again, thank you for the help and have a wonderful day o/

So I’ve got this problem Continue on below the mark if you want to read a probably crappy apology for disappearing after promising to be more active. Or just enjoy the pretty(yet messy) screenshots.
So, I know i’ve been absent for a long long long time. And instead of making excuses or saying that work has picked up way too much for me to even sit down and write(which it has and it’s honestly draining every ounce of mental and physical health out of me), I’ll just come right out and say it. I no longer hold a strong muse or desire to write for Bleach or KHR, or even HxH anymore. That muse had been waning since the last time I made a post. But somewhere along the way, it had completely died. Instead, I’ve been wanting to write more for myself with my own characters with my own scenarios. Don’t get me wrong, I adored writing for everyone, giving them what they wanted and seeing them be so happy over what I had written. I loved the messages of encouragement and praise you all sent me. It honestly was the highlight of my day when I saw those messages. But I feel like my creativity for these series has long since dried up. And I knew this would happen a long time ago, that I would eventually burn out on them and lose interest in continuing the blog. I’m not sad in the slightest, though I know others will be. And that’s what stings.  I’m proud of what I have written, though. I’m proud that I was able to make a few peoples’ days with scenarios and headcanons, even if they were small paragraphs or seemingly predictable headcanons. I’m proud of the efforts I put into making the blog look pretty despite the fact that writing out code or even just trying to change little things in the code to do exactly what I have in mind exhausts me to no end. And I’m proud to have had such a wonderful audience to cater to.  This blog will remain up. But nothing will be added to the master list, no Scenarios or Requests will be fulfilled any longer. I may occasionally come by with a oneshot or two, just to have them here. But they won’t be for the three Fandoms I previously have written for.  I don’t think this comes as a shock to anyone at all lol. I haven’t been active for so long and I did feel bad over leaving without saying a word. So this will be my somewhat final one. I may just change the name of the blog to Faux Dreams to match the AO3 account, but that’s only if I want to post any oneshots here. Either way, thank you for reading, I’m sorry, and I hope you have a wonderful year. Keep writing, keep being creative, and do not let anyone make you feel like you can’t do the things you absolutely want to do.  Love, Peace, and Chicken Grease,                                                 Mod Faux

My fridge died last night and I really need some help. The picture I used is misleading, the actual cost of the fridge is $813. And like I said in there, every dollar helps and if you can’t donate, then please share. Thank you and I love you all.

Just came out as trans over facebook. Sit back, grab a beer, and watch me shake and shudder with anxiety as I wait for calls and texts.
