Hi there Flight Rising Community

I know we come here for fun. For escapism. For delight and dragons. But I cannot be silent here, not when there is so much pain.

We must stand with Palestine. Stand with the innocent people and children who have lost their lives to ethnic cleansing.

Costumes for five main cast members for the upcoming Lupin III themed Kabuki stage play have been revealed - and my word, they are all looking the part!

The play, which is due to open in Japan this coming December (2023), has all-male actors for the main five (a Kabuki tradition), featuring:

Lupin III: 片岡 愛之助 (Ainosuke Kataoka)

Goemon XIII: 尾上 松也 (Matsuya Onoe)

Jigen Daisuke: 市川 笑三郎 (Saburō Ichikawa)

Fujiko Mine: 市川 笑也 (Emiya Ichikawa)

Inspector Zenigata: 市川 中車 (Chūsha Ichikawa)

The photos, which were first shared by website Natalie on Tuesday morning, show some superb shots of the gang. They all look gorgeous. Personally, I think the team behind the play have done an incredible job at incorporating modern Edo Kabuki influence in their costumes, while still resembling the main cast of the show. The level of detail is impressive - from Goemon’s Part 2 outfit colours to Zenigata’s bold, notable eyelashes.

If you are able to catch this while it runs in Japan, you will no doubt be in for a treat. Tickets are already on sale, so act quickly if you wish to secure yourself a seat!

gamers i found some tea. i saw someone mention that there was maybe banning going on and i went asking around and i found someone who knew the deets. turns out a group of ex plagues made a salt server because they got banned for being transphobic. the screenshots are soooo ugly i felt gross just reading them. and it’s not just really bad transphobia they were being racist too and yelling the n word with the hard r. someone had matched the names of fr players to the discord names so here you are.  D from earth but was DB from plague, VG from fire but was plague, HB from plague, ZS from plague, Z from earth but was plague, HE from earth but was plague, K from plague but was C from plague. they are trying to change their names to fool people but you cant change your id and people have those ids. i know that these racist transphobic players were banned from alot of discord servers but stay safe onsite fellow gamers

My favorite inadvertently creepy photography convention from Victorian times actually is the "hidden mother" photograph. As we know, taking pictures of wiggly babies is hard, especially if their mothers aren't holding them. But for some reason people keep insisting on having baby photos taken with only the babies.

The Victorian solution to this...was to just throw a blanket over the mother and pretend she wasn't there.

Having a fr hiatus is so chill. Because unlike a hiatus from like, world of warcraft, everytime I check back in on the game it just seems to have improved. Like what a lovely new gene. Oh what pretty apparel. I'm so glad I don't know about the evangelical dragon drama.
