I wish they had explored more about Kylo Ren’s power in the movies. I felt so much potential in TFA, when he paralyzes Poe’s blaster shot. How terrifying! What a waste we didn’t see Kylo Ren at his full strength… Imagine how powerful he would be!

There was no racist thing against JB. The problem is that he had 0 acting talent, Finn was the most irritating character with his twisted Rey obsession, and 0 hesitation killing his fellow troopers. The dude couldn't accept the fact that he's nit the leading male. Billy Dee W. played Lando, who was also a supportive role..he made Lando a LEGEND, ICON. HOW? simple: he's an artist, an actor who didn't spend his time with rivalry against Harrison Ford, but put this energy into his character

Also to be fair, Lucas and his co writers can actually write and Lando existed beyond validating how beautiful and special Han or Luke are and has a character and plot function. He is a cloud city leader who is pressured under the safety of his city to literally kill his dumbass of an ex friend because its either him or his entire city and then gets betrayed anyway when they open fire on his people . Then he goes on to help the Rebellion because Han was his friend and its better to support a reliable regime than Empire the backstabbers who would turn him into devil middleman. Which he does, his actions visibly are crucial in RoTJ .

See this?? An arc and yes Williams has charm to make the role look compelling that it works even in future 40 years down the line .

What was Finn really?? His uniqueness as a Trooper who somehow got out of FO literally ceased to exist halfway through TFA, then it resurfaces in TLJ only to be sidetracked into entrenching him into the Resistance for real. The hint of his Trooper background coming back in TLJ was swept aside in TROS when all he does is try to copy Leia’s FS personality from ESB and then just goes around being a replacebale generic hero.

He is so replaceable that you could see that Jannah would have done just as good as job as Finn and if he was not in the movie, no one would have noticed. He was a glorified extra whose job is to fetch a moody Rey once in a while.

JB on the other hand doesn’t get it. He thinks a good role is where his character gets to do little bit of everything in his roleplaying in the movie and why they are doing what they are doing doesn’t matter. This is how his decision to produce script where the beloved hero’s existence was removed and he became the center of attention for no good reason failed. I remember back when i was watching TFA era promo stuff and in an interview he says the reason he loves his role in TFA is because he gets to use the lightsaber, wear the stormtrooper armor, be the Resistance pilot, he gets to do everything!

This is what a good role means to him, an elaborate dress up setting for which he gets paid.

There is no racist thing in JB in the latest debacle( except for people who took this opportunity to call him racist slurs). This debacle started because he made a terrible joke about a character which is being headlined as a feminist role model by the franchise and as a public figure who leans left , he failed to live up to his own standards like a hypocrite. When people called him out he got prissy about it and manipulated the situation in his favor, weaponizing his perceived victimhood to lash back at ex fans for exposing him in public. He became a cyberbully and a manipulator that is what this is all about. Its not like he hasn’t been an asshole to fans before when he called people practically hyper sensitive for calling him a queerbaiter and he tried to play dumb by saying he “just a shipper its not political”. Its the cyberbullying which pushed it too far.
