Have you got color in your cheeks?

Angel dashed the rouge make up across her cheek bones, accentuating them in a way that draws eyes. Not quite the right red for blood, just right to be innocent but daring. Kano didn’t like it. She was vying for someone’s attention. Someone who wasn’t him. The cute little black dress she put herself in. She paraded herself like a dark pixie. She didn’t want just anyone’s attention, she wanted a man’s attention.

I’ve dreamt about you nearly every night this week

How many secrets can you keep?

“Shuuya,” she used that name to sweeten him up. She wasn’t his but he wished she was. “Do you think Seto will be there?”

“I’m sure, but he won’t be into whatever you have going on here,” Kano was snarky with his words, playful even. He helped her put on the cat ear headband she bought for the occasion. “He’s more of a dog person.”

“Shuuya…” She was aware of his feelings, he knew that. She didn’t have any special eyes to make her aware, Angel just simply could read it. She was like Ayano in that way.

Despite wanting Seto’s attention, Angel stuck to Kano’s side throughout the party in the dimly lit apartment. This apartment was filled with memories, memories that Kano re-lived over and over again. A loop he used to wish for the end. He wondered if watching her drift away like this was worse than those wretched time loops. Is adulthood worth escaping endless childhood. Is this worth it.

She stayed by his side until the end of the party. As Seto was leaving Angel rushed to his side. Kano watched with a clenched jaw. A familiar hand inched into the crux of his elbow and orange hair came into view. Momo.

“How have you been ?” her warm smile filled his soul. Was Angel really the one for him? Or did he just want to keep her…?

“I’m well, I heard your career is doing well.”

“Oh yes, I probably shouldn’t be here but I missed you...guys” that space between the last two words made his heart flutter. But as he looked up to Seto and Angel giggling together he felt a fire light up in his brain. Quickly he took his arm out of Momo’s grip and marched over to the two of them, calming down with every step.

Crawling back to you

“The cats need feeding Angel,” Kano grinned “We should head home.”

“The cats don’t get fed for another-” he interrupted her with a hand on the shoulder.

I’m too busy being yours to fall for someone new

“Alright, let’s go” together they went home.

Now I’ve thought it through

An Eddie fic

Description: Angel and Eddie enjoy valentines together in their own way

She had everything set just right. Cushions in the perfect position for maximal cuddle levels? Check. The flufiest blankets she could find ready to be snuggled under? Check. And finally the TV connected to her laptop playing their absolute favorite show...the moomins.

The moment the familiar boppy tune of the Swedish children's show began to play she heard the footsteps of her boyfriend pad down the hall. He entered the living room slightly confused and a little hurt.

"You weren't going to watch Moomins without me were you?" His features pulled into a pout behind his adorably big glasses.

"Of course not you loser," Angel grabbed his hand and pulled him to the couch humming along with the opening. He sat down pulling her with him and she snuggled against his chest. The two of them burrowed underneath the blankets their eyes glued on the screen.

"Happy Valentine's day Eddie," Angel mumbled into his shoulder.
