Hufflepuff is one of the four houses of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Its founder was the medieval witch Helga Hufflepuff. It is the most inclusive among the four houses; valuing hard work, patience, loyalty, and fair play rather than a particular aptitude in its members. Its emblematic animal is the badger, and yellow and black are its colours. Hufflepuff corresponds roughly to the element of earth.

002. H E A D C A N O N - PERSONALITY ʄ ESFP

ESFPs also display high levels of kinesthetic intelligence. They are often athletic and endowed with good dexterity and hand-eye coordination. ESFPs can display great physical energy. ESFPs are vivacious entertainers who charm and engage those around them. They are spontaneous, energetic, and fun-loving, and take pleasure in the things around them: food, clothes, nature, animals, and especially people.

ESFPs are typically warm and talkative and have a contagious enthusiasm for life. They like to be in the middle of the action and the center of attention. They have a playful, open sense of humor, and like to draw out other people and help them have a good time. An ESFP hates nothing more than missing out on the fun.

Although they are characteristically fun-loving, ESFPs are also typically practical and down-to-earth. They are grounded in reality and are usually keenly aware of the facts and details in their environment, especially as they pertain to people. They are observant of others and their needs, and responsive in offering assistance. ESFPs enjoy helping other people, especially in practical, tangible ways.

Popular hobbies for ESFPs include socializing, team sports, home improvement projects, cooking, entertaining, games, and dance. ESFPs love big parties and gatherings and are quick to join any group or activity that sounds like fun.

Caradoc glanced at the girl as she pulled her hand from her hair. It appeared she was struggling with this drastic change in appearance as much as he was. Though to be fair, girls had a lot more things to have change - he thought a lack of beard was weird, but he was pretty sure Dorcas had sprouted an extra eight inches of hair from her head. She probably deserved some acclimation time. As long as they were discreet, no one should notice. 

He nodded softly at her account of their duties. The Quidditch season had ended a few weeks ago, and his responsibilities had lessened somewhat. By March, preseason would be in full swing again, so he had planned to use every moment of extra time helping the Order. He hadn't told Daisy of this commitment - she was already unhappy with his involvement. But every time he went home to see Conor, he knew he was doing the right thing by protecting his family. This war put his own life in danger, and it threatened the future of his brother who was not even involved. Caradoc wouldn't stand for it. 

"Probably, but as we weren't told anything, I doubt we'll ever get more information than that." It was a sore subject, but one they should not discuss at that moment. He shook his head and showed as little irritation as possible. "We just have to do our best. Watch everyone. Look for patterns. Pray that we are actually collecting information and not unknowingly guarding something."

The thought had occurred to him before, that they were told to do one thing but were really doing another. Too little information and the constant stations worried him. He only implored to Merlin and anyone else who would listen that their duties were as expected and they were not sitting ducks. 

Escaping Detection ʄ Dorcas & Caradoc

     It felt almost like an invasion of privacy, to take over someone’s identity completely like this. For this being Dorcas’ first dabble with polyjuice potion, she could easily say this wasn’t something to become accustomed to anytime soon. Given their stances in the order, this was sure not to be the last time they’d be in these shoes.

     Size ten to be exact, making her feet feel massive now compared to her usual size eights. Unable to stop twaddling with her appearance, she knew that she had to in order to remain as inconspicuous as possible, thus any time she noticed herself musing her fingers through those brown tresses, her hand motions would come to an abrupt stop.

     Over everything, it was the secretiveness of all of this that was most daunting to her. Here they were, risking their lives - yet… neither was one hundred percent on what they were doing in the Department of Mysteries. Ironic, actually, she had to inwardly admit. In no way did she wish to voice out loud her own shared suspicions that Dumbledore wasn’t even sure what he was up to. Those closest tended to say that Dumbledore had a reason for everything, but was that reassurance actually believed? Dorcas never could tell.

     ”Six excruciatingly long hours. Followed by four more tomorrow.” she mumbled back, tapping a hand against her thigh as her eyes followed the department’s newest entry. “Do you think there’s anything we’re supposed to be looking for in particular? I don’t exactly think the description of ‘man with obnoxiously big nose’ is going to be much help to any of this.” she nodded towards the door once it had shut behind he who her eyes had been following.
