Driving along Hwy 467 near Belleview yesterday, Robin MacBlane and I passed the beautiful landscape that is there. I took no photo but made some mental notes so I could, at least, attempt to capture the way the golden morning light looked as it lit the trees and reflected off the surface of a pond. As always, we can never truly recreate God’s beautiful artwork. But I tried. I painted this greeting card with pan watercolor paints.

Somewhere ages and ages hence:

And that has made all the difference.”

Tigers, they say, live alone.
Except when their cubs need a home.
When collaborative skills,
In their deep jungle kills,
Feed the kids with some fresh zebra bones.
I painted this tiger on a greeting card using pen and ink and watercolor paint with a touch of gouache for the white whiskers.
