This is absolutely unfathomable for me. Today we lost one of the greatest drummers in the world, my absolute #1 hero, idol, and role model, Joey Jordison. He was the heart and soul of two of my favorite bands in the world, Slipknot and Murderdolls. And I know for a fact he was a hero to so many others out there as well for his creative and furious drumming and artistic vision. He single-handedly inspired the next generation of metal and rock drummers by pushing the limits and completely shattering the boundaries of his instrument.

His legacy is unquestionable, his influence on metal music is undeniable, and his presence will be very sorely missed. I'll never forget him and he'll never stop inspiring me. Rest in peace, Joey ①.
