also like beyond the weirdness of the episode… why didnt any of them try to stop the loop. they used the things given to them (bribes, boxes, the cover for the podium) but they never tried to stop sam from kicking the camera despite knowing he would during the wenis dance. was it just a focus on the points? knowing that they’d have a better chance of getting more the next round? even so it’s just wild to let that go on for so long without at least trying to call it out

so if im not mistaken in the footage the woman said the name of that child was samuel dalton reich right? and samuel dalton is sam reich's ancestor but also a time traveller... and weve never seen samuel dalton and sam reich in the same room... and we know how the trick was done with being tied up in the bathroom, it was the same sam all along... what if samuel dalton and sam reich were never separate people. what if theyve always been the same person. what if hes been here the whole time!!

that episode of game changer was so successfully unsettling and horror-y like the glitches?? the static layered over the whole thing after enough loops?? the home videos?? the different camera angles??? i love time loops and horror movies and args this is tailored for me. incredibly it took until siobhan said "by the end of this i will know how to play the piano" for me to go TIME LOOP TIME LOOP TIME L. and trapp going "put your little hand in mine ..." as he trudges out for the fifth time and also that loop he repeats everything "grant" says it's all so good and so fucking weird. i said this for bingo but truly they deserve to win an emmy this season my god

just finished watching the latest game changer episode and not to hop on the game changer lore stuff but like. idk. the specifying of “samuel *dalton* reich” in the little in home video things + the way the camera got fuzzy and stayed thst way even after filming “ended”…. call me crazy but like i a) wholly believe that sam dalton has taken over sam reich and b) cant help but weirdly feel like the time loop hasnt technically ended…

I truly do not think that there is any other episode of any series more appealing to my stupid brain than gamechanger's deja vu. Cause we got time loops, psychological torture, terrifying VFX, overdone bits AND MOST IMPORTANTLY DUCKS. Oh and also the Wenis song will possibly stay in my head for about as long as the song that never ends and the painting Ophelia inspired by Hamlet.

okay i have a theory about the current season of game changer on dropout that it’s being played by evil version of sam from the old escape room episode because a lot of the episodes have had a slightly more malicious tone to some of the games (thinking of sam says and maybe bingo) and the most recent ep of deja vu (no spoilers in this post) has made me even more sure of that because of the editing decisions and the cut scenes iykyk

is this just me or do others thing that there’s something Else to this season

if the theory of sam reich being replaced by .. evil wizard dalton reich (and i cant believe i am partaking in this discurse) is true..

i've seen some people asking the question about what those childhood tapes mean. Well i am one of the ancient ones that owned vhs tapes and you know you could replace whats stored on those tapes with overwriting it with new material but it would slowly degrade the quality as the magnetic tape the information is stored on isn't necessarly made to be re-recorded on indefinetly which would also explain the degrading quality of the gamechanger episode.

So my theory is that dalton reich wants to erase sam from history and to do this he is slowly erasing any proof that could hint on sam and dalton being two different people. One thing he appearantly needed to do is overwrite these old vhs tapes of sams childhood.
