This is very similar to a Circles roll in something like Shadowrun or The Sprawl. I would super suggest reading the The Sprawl book if you are looking to implement a really good PC-creating-NPC system! It has excellent rules for how to roll up and use those NPC's that are a little stricter and therefore sometimes a little more unexpected in terms of outcome!

It begins.

How many pigeons does it take to use a drinking fountain? In Brisbane, Australia, apparently the answer is three! Earlier this month, a trio of industrious birds Down Under figured out how to operate a water fountain by observing humans and then making their move when the coast was clear. The feathered friends reportedly spent 10 minutes bathing and sipping from the fountain, taking turns pushing the lever for each other until all were quenched. Who are you calling a birdbrain now?

Tumblr, I’ve gone and done a thing. It’s a scary thing for me to have done, but people already signed up so now I have to follow through with it. Do you like my fic? Do you like my poems? Do you like my collages? Do you like it when I wax on about the moon who I am definitely dating and how much I love her? THEN HAVE I GOT A PROJECT FOR YOU!

Let me introduce you to my first Patreon experiment, where I produce a chapbook of poems and short fictions one piece/month at a time and then at the end of all those months I send you either a digital or physical copy of said chapbook. I’m gonna hand bind the physical ones and make special art and probably paint the covers. They’re gonna be beautiful! Or, well, I’m going to try to make them beautiful and they might be a little clumsy in spite of that but I’ll put a lot of love into them either way. You like love, right? That’s a thing people enjoy? Let me love you! With words!

I have plans for several chapbooks, but the theme of the first will be Girls Who Date the Universe, which you might be familiar with if you’ve been around here a while. There’s a post up at the Patreon talking a little bit about my inspiration for this first project and what I plan to do. 

Honestly, I can’t wait to expand the Patreon to other types of writing and art projects and I’m very excited to get started with this one. Excited and terrified. Maybe more terrified than excited. Whatever! They’re basically the same emotion for me! 

Please give my page a look if you’re so inclined, and please share the link if you think it looks neat. I’m on the cusp of big changes and I’m trying to make a lot happen with only a little money. Any help I can get to see me through these changes will be met with appreciation and love.
