alright, so

I feel like laura is a woman dedicated to her work, maybe even to the point of being a perfectionist? like the floor must so clean that your reflection is visible in the tiles, otherwise she gets this uneasy feeling and it has to be taken care of instantly

I also think she might have troubles connecting to people (not that she wants to, since she hates humans anyway) but when she does meet someone who is worth her attention, she is protective of them (aka. seras and integra ofc)

speaking of integra, I think laura is as loyal as alucard when it comes to her. 100% willing to move a montain if the sunrays are bothering integra while she is chilling in the mansion's huge backyard

Can you guys try to characterize, analyze or give your feedback on Laura? I want to see if I express her character correctly.

*Descends from Heaven*

Imagine Alex being invited to a wedding and he wants to take you with him. You don't really want to go at first, mainly because you don't know anyone there. However, he keeps insisting and eventually you give in, accompanying him after all. Not like you would want your big grumps to show up without a date, right?

Anyway, you arrive at the wedding, dressed to the nines and ready to impress. There is one problem, though. It's cramped as Hell. People are everywhere, dancing, drinking and having fun. You didn't expect so many guests to be here, which does make your anxiety spike slighty. Alex notices this right away, of course, so he takes your hand and interlocks your fingers in order to reassure you. The soft, loving smile on his face is something that is engraved into your mind for the rest of your life.

It looks like Alex is a hit among the guests, because quite a lot of people walk up to greet him. Lame jokes are being cracked, shoulders are being patted and you are left at the side, watching the boomer reuinion. Oh well. Atleast he is happy. Then he introduces you, his beloved s/o. Everyone is smitten with you, visibly delightes that Alex finally found someone he truly loves.

Time passes and you really do enjoy your time, glad to have joined along after all. Party music turns into pop music and the pop music gives way to a slow Ballade. The bridal couple (is that the word for "Brautpaar????") are dancing along, alone at first. However, you know the drill and after a while, other couples join them.

Oh, how nice. Atleast you have some time to wind down. Not like Alex wants you to dance with him, right? Wrong. You should have seen it coming. He grabs your hand and pulls you along, dragging you after him to the dancefloor. Your protests are being ignored, so you stop trying to discreetly wiggle out of his grasp.

You find a nice spot among the other couples and the look on his face almost makes your heart stop. The dim light is being reflected in his emerald eyes, gazing into your own like you are the most precious thing in the world. To him, you are. You can feel the warmth of his touch through the fabric of your clothing when both his hands rest on your waist. Both of you are swaying from side to side to the rhythm of the music, lost in a world in which only the two of you exist.

Eventually, you place your hands onto his broad shoulders, standing on your tippy toes to press a kiss onto his cheek. He is still too tall, though, so he has to lean down for you, something he will always do without hesitation. The wedged scar on hiw cheek gets a nice, big, smooch and he is left grinning like an idiot. Yes, you definitely don't regret tagging along.
