Wannabe was the debut single of the Spice Girls, featured on their album Spice. The song reached number 1 in 31 countries and is one of the best selling singles of all time! The video was shot in one take, filmed in April 1996 in the Midland Grand Hotel, St Pancras London. Fun fact: the Dave Way remix of the song was originally pitched to the girls as the final version, however they just weren’t feelin’ it! So the song was re-mixed once again as the one we know now, and almost 25 years on this song is the most recognisable pop songs of the last 60 years!
