Hello! I wanted to ask you, when the wizards are freed from Omega by Neruman in the comics, what do you think their relationship was? Because it never really felt to me that the wizards were serving Neruman willingly. Not sure if I’m quite thinking they were his prisoners, but it didn’t feel like they would serve him by choice. (You’ve talked about comic-exclusive characters in your posts before, so I’m guessing you know about the comic plots. If you don’t, since the comics aren’t widespread, then never mind.)

(Quick extra bit: any theories on where the wizards lived while serving Neruman? Because I could never tell if they lived in his Dark Dimension Castle thing, or if they just hid out in Gardenia again.) Thank you!

Ngl of all the characters with relevance to the remaining 75% of the Black Circle comic wise, Neruman has definitely done the least for me? Which might be a little ironic because he's like the whole reason the wizards were even freed to EXIST in the comics?? Idk he just doesn't get my creative juices flowing like Yllidith and Gregory do y'know- Despite having more relevance than both of them. I really am just attracted to cardboard huh. Hm.

But aside from that!! Yeah no, I don't think the word 'willingly' is even allowed in the building rn.

Tbh the wizards really just dealt with hit after hit, loss after loss. They went from nearly done with a centuries lasting job, to losing one of their own and being locked up, just to be freed and forced to work under him to repay a debt that really won't be until some guy says so, who abandons them anyway later on and lets them get locked away elsewhere. Had the wizards been in even a little bit of a better state, emotionally and magically, at any point during this, I don't think working under him would've gone on for as long as it did, if even at all.

Also if we assume that they haven't worked under anyone since Yllidith, and doing so wasn't the best experience (I am assuming both of those things), than this might've been extra upsetting for them too. If it wasn't humiliating enough by itself. Dare I say I think all 3 of them hated this shadowy, 'Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come' ass bitch- Just not a fan of it being mostly a fear thing, I mean these men have been around for a WHILE. Like just say they're aware they're too weak to leave him rn, but don't make them SCARED and sweating on their knees tf is WRONG with you smh.

Not to do another comic rant or anything, but I will NEVER get over how the comics slandered them and everything positive they had going for them. Maybe that's why Neruman doesn't do a lot for me hskskssj he really is a big part of it all.

Wouldn't be surprised if he did yoink them to be nearby whenever they weren't actively doing something for him though, so I'd say stand-by in the castle, but "free" roaming Gardenia when in the middle of the job, like with the whole Gregory thing. Who is actually my little guy compared to Neruman.

After the posts with the idea of the wizards not actually having an evil plan, I wanted to ask: if the wizards had actually been surrendering, when they stood trial, what do you think Morgana would have sentenced them to? I’ve always wondered. Thank you very much!

Hi!!! Well Ogron does say "We renounce our magic and give ourselves up to you as mere mortals." in the Cinélume dub, so maybe that? Maybe they'll give up their magic and live the rest of the days as regular humans. Which would be understandable after everything, not sure if I'm a fan though. Then again, renounce doesn't have to mean that they don't have magic anymore, just that they don't use it, right?? Maybe they'd be able to earn the use of it back after a while. For good behaviour.

But!! Might be of note that Ogron only said that knowing they wouldn't go through with it, so maybe they'd take a different route? Even if the "No more magic use" one makes a lot of sense-

Hey I saw one of your asks on the wizards being sent to Lightrock instead of Omega by a friend and that reminded me of a theory I had.

What if Duman was sent to Omega by Nabu and that’s why the other wizards went there after the whole trial thing. They were trying to find him. And that’d explain why they were grieving since they could still sense he was alive.

!!! I actually like that, it really does fill up a bunch of holes!! Suddenly Nabu is not a murderer and the wizards aren't dismissive and a little silly

But really hoping for the fairies that Duman either doesn't remember any tricks from back when he fought Aurora, or that he's too weakened to reach any of it. Unless that's a fancy little way out we're leaving for him there. 👁👁

Yknow it really says something about their characters how the wizards escape from morgana and her fairies and decide that the best place to go is The Jail Dimension. I think about that often

It's like roaming around a prison, getting into an open jail and someone locks you in. Not to victim blame or anything, but deserved? Asking for it, even? Hm. Really pushing your luck, at least. Hello! Me again! I wanted to ask, after the discussion of Nabu killing Duman, what do you think would have happened if Nabu hadn’t killed Duman? If he’d listened when Duman begged for his life? (Other than the fandom rejoicing, evidently.) Do you think he’d have cured him? And what would they have done about the other wizards’ plan?

Rejoice is a big word when we put it in a sentence/context with fandom and Duman, but yes let's be nice and generous this time

Tbh I'm not sure the spell could still have been stopped at the time Duman was begging? Mans was snapped halfway through a sentence. In certain dubs. So cutting it a little close there ngl- BUT assuming Nabu really could just call it back like that, and actually does? Hhhmmm that might be an awkward conversation, if this is the 'plan is real' timeline. Best case scenario, yes he does cure him. Well he says he will. After dealing with the other wizards. We know that gets him killed but ssshh.

Just doubt that after getting so close to killing Duman he'd go out of his way to cure him first while knowing there's an urgency in helping the Winx, but I also doubt he'd spare him just to let him die by himself- He can pull a "I'll be back." and lock him away somewhere though, maybe. As a compromise.

Sounds like this altered turn of events would still end with 2 dead wizards, if Nabu dies closing the portal and Duman does of "natural causes" (the problems with his magic), but nuh uh!!

See, now the specialists have a secret weapon! Little something called "Actually we have Duman locked up rn and if you don't let dead Nabu have that gift you just yoinked, Duman is gonna die too." If we're gonna give Ogron specifically that much credit (I am) it'd change the situation just a bit.

This trial will either take 10 minutes or a full week, uninterrupted. Because yeah on one hand nobody's actually dead, but is that not still attempted murder at least? I know Ogron, Gantlos and Anagan are pissed either way, Duman's just kinda there. Mans went from deadly ill, to exploded, to being put together and probably fine. Physically.
