Hey there! This is a very interesting question but tbh I consume very little media due to how my brain only likes to fixate on one and low energy, so sorry I don't really think I have any good one. On the other hand, I'd be really interested if someone has any recommendations lol Also I presume the other ask that's almost identical is also sent by you so I'm only going to answer this one. I'd say I'm generally into ships that have complicated love/hate relationship but I don't really think that they are that similar to the mozalieri dynamic. Riario/Leonardo really is an incredible example because how close they can get (artistic genius and stabby emo italian man LMAO) I would say I was very into Jesus Christ Superstar before MOR and yes I'm going to talk about Jesus/Judas for a second. I would say marginally Jesus (I don't think I need to say much about Jesus)/Judas (very sad wet meow meow, bitchy, complicated love/hate, hated name associated with downfall of Jesus) has a bit of this dynamic all things considered, but this is not a musical I recommend to people lightly for reasons lol

Hello everyone! This is a long overdue thank you to everyone who's read this guide. I've gotten lots of positive and fun comments, and I'm happy this silly little slideshow brings people joy. I've made a few small updates to the slideshow and added a few more links/information I've since come across (such as more Korean adaptation and the new Chinese adaptation clips). But most importantly, I've come to know the SA allegations against Nuno (backed up by many fans of the show) only after I've finished the slides. I've reblogged the post that goes into detail on this blog before, but I kept forgetting to add it to the slides. I should have included it much earlier before this guide became more widespread, and I think that's important information for people to know, so I sincerely apologize for that! I spent way too long on this but I had fun, so I hope you have fun too if you decide to give it a read! I think it could be enjoyed by both people who haven't seen it and people who have seen it. At the same time it's also quite self indulgent lol I included a lot of photos and links to clips for easy access. This quote from the press release:

“Barton’s adaptation will expand and interrogate the mythic rivalry of the two composers. Hero of his own story but villain to history, Salieri’s envy turns vengeful as he uses any means necessary to thwart Mozart and protect his position in the establishment.”

The first part mentions to "expand and interrogate," which sounds to me they may add some commentaries to the Mozart/Salieri relationship, or go beyond the typical depiction of their relationship that's been highly dramatized and twisted, but the second part still sounds like they're going to make Salieri quite antagonistic (imo) I'm rather hoping to see something that finally moves away from portraying Salieri as maliciously jealous (even if he's portrayed sympathetically), but I guess we'll see what happens. A series is going to have a much longer run time, thus more development and nuances, so that'll be cool to see.

I've mentioned I'm working on this fic many many times but also delayed posting here for quite a while. I finally finished the next chapter to tm Synphony of the Lost Souls series after 1.5 years, and I'm honestly so happy to finish so I can move on to the next chapter and other works!! It's quite an emotional rollercoaster for them and me as well lol I hope you enjoy

Heads up: you need to log in for this one (you can do so for free) and can only read one hour at a time, and that hour just flies by, but it's worth your while if you're interested in Salieri.

One of my absolute favorites. Probably one of the best online sources you will find about his early career.

This next one is in French, sorry about that.

About his family. This only really serves for the dates of birth and death, although sources may vary.

Please note that not all his children are mentioned! It's incredibly difficult to find information about his children, their names, births and deaths. Most sources talk of 8 children, with the youngest (Henrica Salieri) being stillborn, but other sources only name 7, and the years of births and deaths are not easy to find (I might post something about it later).

Another family tree, more complete children wise.

Some informations about Legnago's religious buildings during the 18th century (Salieri lived there from 1750 to 1764).

And that's most of what I have saved up actually, mostly everything else requires digging through text unrelated to him or is just repeating things that have been said already in those few links. Those are all easily accessible sources, so I think most people who took an interest in Salieri already read at least some of those, but I hope I could at least provide one new source <3
