New Jersey: the one who buys the food for the cat and treats it like his child.

Massachusetts: the one who is so reluctant to a cat at first but falls in love with it after a few days (fights w/ NY abt the cat)

Pennsylvania: took him a while to warm up to the small animal but lets it sleep on his lap if it wants (he’ll fall asleep too, old man 🤧)

Rhode Island: the one who is happy that there is someone/something else in the house that’s smaller than him, but also secretly hates it

New Hampshire: the one who hides the cat under the table at meals and pets it

Maine: the one who gets the cat toys to play with and sometimes brings it into his room and sleeps with it

Vermont: the one who dresses it up in costumes and makes it look silly

Connecticut: the one who is the most hesitant to the cat, the most law abiding, but eventually gives up after Mass and Penn gave in

Delaware: like Cut, but will hold the cat whenever he can and sometimes brings it to the southern wing

-They will fight over the cat, even Delaware and Connecticut.

-Massachusetts is a sucker when it comes to animals, just like NY, but more domestic animals.

-New York will have to hide his rats and pigeons, but he’s willing to make that sacrifice.

idrk what u want for this one so I guess just headcannons?

hcs under the cut!!

- New York likes to take Texas places that are normally cold to annoy him. Texas does the same but with hot places.

- Texas asks a lot of questions. Like about his history or animals or really anything he is thinking of in that moment. New York thinks it’s funny when he does it but answers the questions to the best of his abilities.

- New York fell first, Texas fell harder and hit his head.

- Texas takes NY to see his animals at his farm. New York loves every single animal like its his child. Texas finds it adorable how he cares so much about little things.

- Holding hands>>>> (you’ll never see the two in the room not holding hands)

- New York takes him to the city in the winter and laughs when he complains about the cold, in a loving way ofc.

- “Y’all.. hwhat?” + “The fuck..?”

- they play fight with each other, like NY would punch him in the shoulder just hard enough for him to notice but not enough to hurt. In retaliation, Texas would pick New York up off the ground and spin him around.

- Southern gentleman/Northeastern asshole (or like cowboy/big business owner)

- New York loves talking about birds, and Texas knows this, so he points to random birds in the sky and asks what they are even if it is like a bluejay or something.

- York steals his cowboy hat constantly and Texas uses York as a hat rack sometimes. he would just randomly place his hat on his head.

- “Well.. I remember the song goin’ like, “Save a cowboy, ride a horse” so..” “Save a horse, ride a cowboy.”

- Texas is in love with Italian food ever since it was pretty much the only food New York would make. New York will not admit it, but Texas makes the best brisket he’s ever had.

-Connecticut wears old man glasses and so does Mass but he’s only partly an old man because he can still see.

- NYC is js mini Florida. Both equally insane. If they ever meet, so help us god.

- York hates dogs. He won’t like push them away though if they jump on him, he’ll just pet it awkwardly as it jumps and claws at him. But, most dogs don’t like him anyway since he’s literally a cat.

NY’s cities real names: NYC: Nicholas (Nicky), Albany: Abby or Ally, LI: Liam, sometimes also Lee, honestly has no clue what his actual name is, Syracuse: Sarah, Rochester: Rocky (didn’t want a real name), Buffalo: seems like a guy named Benny, Niagara Falls: Niagara.

- New York listens to Hozier, cannot tell me different.

- doodles kitties all over his and others papers while in meetings. He does it especially when they are important documents that Gov especially told him not to draw on. “Fuck you, government! I can do whatever I want!”

- his hair originally was a lighter brown under the Dutch, then a dirty blonde under the British, and then as the years went on, his hair turned to dark brown bc of all of the Italians pin-straight black hair. idk it’s js a random thing I thought could happen as he jumped from country to country.

- Nevada forces Cal and York to go shopping with him and york always ends up carrying the bags.

Hello mein friend! I know that you mainly do stuff for NY (we love him <3), but im genuinely curious if you have any headcanons for our resident gay homophobic cowboy, Texas? 👁️👁️

*completely fine if not, please don't feel forced or rushed to answer this!!!*

of course, mein friend, I do have some hcs for the homosexual cowboy

- he looses his hat all the time to the point he just buys new ones. but he does own his very first cowboy hat and he never wears it since he’s afraid of losing it.

- definitely owns a farm with cattle, sheep, pigs, and chickens. he names every single one and care for them more than his actual children (/j)

- very soft/kind - hearted, cares a lot when it comes to animals or states in general. literally a southern gentleman

- loves to play fight with other states (mostly the angrier type) and tussle them around and make fun of them until they both end up laughing. (I’m pretty sure you mentioned something like this!)

- his room is literally plastered with his flag everywhere. like even the wallpaper is his flag. he’s got a huge problem.

- I think a lot of us believe that NY was the only one to really care to say hello and introduce himself to new states (or maybe it’s js me) out of all of the OG13 . When NY talked to him and California, TX was suspicious and felt he was just a sketchy businessman who didn’t care for anyone but himself even if he seemed like he did.

- part of the daddy issues club!

- cares abt the little things, like accents and eye colors. he’s honestly just so sdrvtbyjikokj
