Why I interpret Stella having abandonment issues

I’ve recently gotten a few messages about what I think of Stella in terms of her relationship with her parents. So I thought I’d write something about her abandonment issues related to the topic. I might post a more detailed analysis later because I still have a lot more to say. For now, I’ll briefly address a few things. 

Disclaimer: Please bear in mind that all these observations are strictly based on the first four seasons and the comic issues that I deem relevant to the narrative. This analysis does not need or depend on the comic issues, but I think they add a nice touch to it.
