Some G/T Writing

after feeling really burnt out and out-of-my-depth trying to bring my story to life in a big grand high-quality fully fledged fic with art, I decided I didn't feel like doing that :3. I'm still writing it but taking my SWEET time, and it's gonna be BAD. :) anyway, here's a little quick non proofread non stress little 200 word scene I wrote.

Mira woke up with the realization she’d done so too early.

The windows were dark, the house was still, and most pertinent fact of all was Sylvia. She was sawing logs, fast asleep on her side, and had a heavy hand sprawled across Mira like the world’s thickest blanket. She tried to push one of the digits off of herself. Very, very slowly, She didn’t even want to wake her up in the morning, let alone in the middle of the night! She tried to wriggle out from under the thing, Straining until...

She was out! She’d tease Sylvia about this so much when she got up, it’d be so...

A familiar, ridiculously loud, heavy yawn filled her ears and shook her bones, like it always did. A faint yellow glow light the room as she opened her eyes.

She propped herself up on her elbows, looming close her, her eyes like spotlights. Was she mad at her? Why was she just staring at her? she couldn’t read her expression at all-

Her eyes closed, and she flopped back on the bed. She’d effectively put her head down around Mira, much to her horror, but apparently, more to Sylvia’s comfort, as Mira felt her contented sigh wash across her face.

Realizing there wasn’t much else she could do, Mira decided she’d get a few more hours of rest.

I've been gone for so long because I quite literally reinvented myself BUTTTT lets do this silly goofy questionare. I'm doing BOTH Sylvia and Mira bc I can.

Easy. "Love is..." for Mira and "Vanilla Caramel Fudge" for Sylvia. I owe ZERO (no) explanation but I will explain. Love Is due to its sweet but a bit salty flavor and its cute heart candies and pink topper. Vanilla Caramel Fudge due to its 3 component thing going on similar to Sylvia's whole bronze silver gold thing going on and also due to its simple classiness. Why would you need anything more? Also bc its my favorite flavor.

miramiramiramiramiramira and spidersontour. I do not know why, I just know this to be true.

Playtime and Sencha.

Stargaze for Mira, js plain old default Radar for Sylvia.

Yeah.

Mira is really scared of basically any and every animal, except for maybe cats (from afar.) and Sylvia literally couldn't possibly care for something that small.

I literally cant find any that fit them.

The Asshole Bird. TWICE.

Mira: the first long-period pulsating variable star to be discovered, with a period averaging 331 days. It is a red giant and a component of a binary star in the constellation Cetus. SHES A STARR!!! Sylvia corrected to Sylvan, which means a person that lives in the woods, or deity of the woods! (I DID NOTTT DO THAT ON PURPOSE)

I got a lil carried away bc i found a picrew for black people (FINALLY.) these r the most accurate picrews ive ever made. for the outfits i tried a cute little outfit swap or wtv there was no way i wasnt making these hairstyles 100% ACCURATE

Like I really enjoy born giants as much as the next person, but humans cursed into giants??? DELICIOUS ANGST TROPE.

Mira finding out the hard way that you can you can hear everything when you’re close to a giant.

In the first panel Sylvia sits, back resting on a tree, exhausted. She opens her good eye, looking down at her right pocket. Mira’s inside.

I’m actually posting g/t art again omg!! Just some small things I drew today.

Wanted to draw Mira in Sylvia’s hair just because I literally love her hair so much. She’s thoroughly enjoying it.

Thoroughly pissed off Sylvia. The paper actually has text I wrote on the back, so under light the following text appears:

“RETURN WHOM YOU INTEND TO STEAL

OR BE GROUND BENEATH MY HEEL”

Im actually pretty proud of it it’s so slay and cool 😼 I’m seeing my art improve, and I’m happy!

I’m taking that “take your time” thing to heart while I write. I’m working, though!

thinkin bout troubled giants who live alone. standoffish souls who keep themselves shut away from the outside world, fearing that they might hurt someone. serious, disciplined and self reliant, maybe coping with a tragic past, battling their inner demons until an unexpected guest arrives.

also thinkin bout the tiny who wanders into their home, observing their routines in equal parts curiosity n sadness, intrigued by their loneliness and drawn into their mysterious demeanor. but also 10000% keeping their distance because the giant is terrifying and unreadable, like, all of the time -

the eventual crossing of their paths would be difficult, from all that uncertainty and pent up emotion, but i think the giant would warm up to them. maybe finding a source of happiness in the tiny's company, a joy which they thought would never enter their life again.

RANDOM G/T THOUGHT NUMBER I LOST COUNT

So giant is seen by a threat by wandering monster hunters and heroes and kingdoms and stuff. They always come with weapons, cannons, catapults, lances, everything! But then, always being quickly overwhelmed, leave. And that’s when the giant gets to have their fun.

They take EVERYTHING. Every single weapon is carefully placed in a basket or even (depending on how tall you prefer lol) a pocket. Then they go back to their home, which always is a bit of a mess except for their collection room. It used to be the bigger half of their living room, but who needs that? Countless shelves and cases are filled with deadly artifacts, displayed and labeled. They place their new bounty on their desk and smile. This is the best part of their day.
