Wow!!! Powerful! Too many people are committed to living a lie instead of accepting the reality of the life they live. People show me a lot daily and I've learned that I'm going to live in spite of anything going on around me. I love the ability to just get up and go to do whatever I want. Like most, I woke up to this sad news on the passing of Stuart Scott. I never met him, but feel like I knew him as I spent so much time over the years literally watching him every day. He broke barriers and paved the way for a lot of people to enter the world of broadcast journalism. He challenged society to begin to see how valuable diversity is to making us all better. A special angel has ascended into heaven ready to add some flavor. Based on my experiences, I try to live in a manner that one can see I'm not like the rest. I don't normally converse with the masses and I'm cool on that. Not really sure how the thought ended up in my mind, but it couldn't be more spot on. Life teaches you a lot if you care to pay attention. Wisdom is acquired after you get a few bad tastes in your system as you go through life. Once men/women finally figure out how they complement one another it's quite the revelation for us all. Honestly, this is probably the hardest thing for me to deal with day in and day out. It's not my fault that you don't understand me. My job is to communicate clearly and get my message across. I can simplify things down to a first grade level, but sadly some people still won't understand. I've figured out that a lot of people lack the maturity to actually process what's going on because they aren't focused enough on the issue at hand because they can't see an immediate benefit for themselves.
