Grateful for all the things that happened, lost and felt. No matter how much pain there were, I was always thought that I was still more priviledged than some people in the world. A quick stroll around Strawberry Guyabano Farm in Tupi, South Cotabato, Philippines. From work we went straight to this highland. We faced a stormy weather along the road, and we thought we never got through it, but all thanks to Jehovah God we arrived and got home safe bringing all the moments and calmness of nature. Due to the ongoing covid, strolling outdoors seem scary, we are anxious of everyone around us, but a slice of being outside really refuels that energy we lost in every day life. So, in planning everything outdoors always include sanitizers, alcohol, mask and keep social distanding. Stay Safe and may your plans for self growth, health and healing may succeed.

My thoughts and Opinion: As you get older you realized that material things do not hold the true meaning of Happiness. When we were young we thought that having college degrees and high educational attainment are our bullets to land our dream job. We felt like having these material possessions with a dream job will make our life complete and we will soon be completely and satisfyingly happy, but everything is a lie. 

Reflecting through where I am and what I have right now I learned that a man will always desire the things that he doesn’t have, material things or not, man always has longings in his heart that he desired to get. So I say from that point of view, contentment is a choice. So, choose contentment over desires. Don’t let the things you have right now be gone to realize they are the most that matter in your life. You only know when to stop chasing the wind and if you decide to settle may your heart feels peacefulness, thankfulness, and happiness so you know that not having everything that your eyes desire blessed your heart and soul with rest and in rest, you find everything you need.

I think we all do have that phase in our lives where we felt stranded in a situation, place, or circumstances of things we don’t like or do in our lives. We felt like a prisoner in our worlds. We are silent in tongue yet shouting inside. We all have those moments and it is so disappointing if we are still in those chains who pull us back to that dark world. We just wanted to be free but the more time we hold ourselves back so many are the doubts, fears, and hopelessness buildings in our thoughts. Then, we always have reasons for everything on why we are still in the same place and situation over the years, but if we keep on letting reasons hinder what makes us happy we will always be stranded. If you fight for freedom to do the things that make you happy, make your fight worth it by living each day moving closer to your goals. Let us fight every day. Let us be a warrior every single day for ourselves, for our happiness.
