The snc fandom…

The Twitter side of the snc fandom is truly why I don’t consider myself “part of the fandom”. I’ve never seen a group of fans complain and dog SO DAMN MUCH on the same people they claim to be fans of, it’s kind of insane. That also includes any and every person they hang out with.

Y’all do not know these men. Being a fan doesn’t give you the right to act entitled to every aspect of their personal lives and their reasoning behind everything they do outside of social media and their jobs. “These girls are corrupting Sam and Colby! They are being used and they have no idea!” Please, respectfully, shut the fuck up! They are GROWN ASS MEN. They can think and act for themselves.

These deep dives into their supposed personal struggles and issues are very bizarre and is giving unhealthy parasocial relationship. Some of you spend way too much time and energy psychoanalyzing what the boys do. I promise, you’d be much less stressed and angry if you just didn’t care so fucking much. Because they do not owe us anything. They can and will do whatever they want in their lives and that’s NONE OF OUR BUSINESS.

also on a much happier note…Kian Robert Lawley is going to be a father? a dad? for real? I cannot believe it. I’ve watched Kian (and Jc ofc) since the O2L days, since I was like 12/13 years old and they were teens, i’m 22 this year and watching them still be the goofiest, best guys around, and now i get the honour of seeing Kian be a dad 🥹🥹 i’m so happy for him and i feel so old lol and i know he is going to be the best dad in the world

listen I will always love sam and colby so much, but my god i wish they would cut it out with the childish, immature humour and the sexual jokes and comments they make every damn video. even on their react channel, they will watch a video and there will be a girl presenting the information and they both comment on how she’s ‘sexy’ and that they aren’t listening to the information because she’s on screen, when literally all it is is a woman reading information to them. because i love them and have watched them for years, i know that it’s harmless jokes and that’s just their humour, and most of their fanbase probably find it funny. and it’s not that i find it offensive personally, but 1) it gets old after a while, 2) i just don’t find that kind of thing funny personally, and 3) it would be so easy for anyone to see that and take it the wrong way, we all know how easy it is for people to get cancelled on the internet these days, and they aren’t doing themselves any favours.

the bottom line is, they are both really funny people, and their videos are already enjoyable and their bond is great, even when they have guests on its always loads of fun, but i just think at their age, plus this far into their careers with how big their channel(s) are & how long they’ve been doing this, a lot of that stuff is so uncalled for and just dumb.

again this isn’t hate to them, the fanbase or their videos, i love them so much but it’s just something that’s been on my mind for a while now <3 all love here
