DokiDoki! Norse Pantheon!

Now it’s time for the DokiDoki girls and their Norse parents! Norse includes Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, etc. (Northern Europe). And I’m keeping the story of Princess Marie Ange being split between Madoka, Ai, and Regina after death. I’ll include a small headcanon afterward.

Today we have Aida Mana/Cure Heart, Hishikawa Rikka/Cure Diamond, Yotsuba Alice/Cure Rosetta, Kenzaki Makoto/Cure Sword, Aguri Madoka/Cure Ace, Ai, Regina, and Princess Marie Ange!

Mana was born Karriana [pure heart] and was the daughter of Gemsemi (Old Norse: “gem”), the goddess of love.

Rikka was the daughter of Bragi (Old Norse form of Bragr: “poetry”), the god of knowledge, poetry, eloquence, and the patron of skalds (composers who recite poetry honoring heroes and their deeds) and was named Randi [advice, counsel, beautiful].

Alice was named Ingeborg [god’s protection] by her mother Hlín (Old Norse: “protectress”), the goddess of consolation and protection.

Makoto was the daughter of Týr, the god of war, justice in battle, victory, and heroic glory. He named her Signe [the one who is victorious].

Now we have the story of Madoka, Ai, and Regina and their original live as Princess Marie Ange.

Princess Marie Ange was born to Odin, the Allfather of the Aesir and the god of war, poetry, and magic, and Frigg (Old Norse: “to love”), the Queen of Asgard and goddess of beauty, love, fertility, and fate. They named her Åshild [a brave and fighting woman] and she was beloved by all. When she died in battle, Odin asked Hel, the goddess/ruler of the Underworld to bring her back, but she refused. She would allow her to reincarnate, but not as Odin and Frigg’s child(ren). And thus, Madoka, Ai, and Regina were born.

Madoka was reincarnated as Sigrid [victory, beautiful, fair] and was the daughter of Baldur (from Old English bealdor: “lord” or “prince”), the god of beauty, love, purity, peace, righteousness, etc.

Regina was born again as the daughter of Freyja, the goddess of love, fertility, battle, magic, war, and death. She named her Olaug [the destroyer, a person who destroys, ruins, or lays to waste].

Ai was born later as the daughter of Sjöfn, the goddess of love, marriage, and relationships, and named her Raija [one who radiates light].

Girls don’t transform into magical girls. Just keep their civilian outfits for their wardrobe.

tbh not entirely sure where everyone would come from in terms of lands. So for the time being just kinda all cluster them together in the leaf.village.

bias for kokone’s verse because I think it’s precious af.

Reika;; 

-Top grades at academy, prefers to strategize over fighting, if she does end up fighting she wind and water release to make primarily use of ice release. Comes from a moderate wealthy and very traditional style family. Weaponry also favors with archery.

Rikka;; 

-Also a smarty pants of the academy who unlike Reika, doesn’t mind fighting. Also uses wind/water release to generate ice release. Has a house on the outskirts of the village. weapon favours senbon.

Chiyu;;

- Like the girls above, uses water release, but I need to add in wind release so she can generate ice. (Since Chiyu’s abilities in pre.cure are water and ice related.) Family owns a very traditional style bath house. Chiyu wasn’t the top of her class, but near the top, took her a little while to find her footing when it comes to fighting. not sure what weapon she would favour tbh. probably just your standard kunai as well as special jut/su’s.

Asuka;; 

- girl 100% prefers weapons. She will want to use any and all weapons if she could. (kinda like how ten.ten favours weapons. Same kinda wheelhouse.) She’s a heavy hitter and a bit of the tank on her team. Family rents a simple apartment in the village. Dad always out on missions leaving her to take care of her younger brother.

Kokone;;

- Had a private tutor when it came to education. Wealthy parents own a large estate and a fancy restaurant in town (there’s other jobs too other than just being ninja. like damn lmaooo) but nah, she has like.... 0 knowledge of ninja life and quite scared to go outside the village perimeters. Eventually she (theoretically) befriends the other delicious party girls and wants to train to become a ninja, she then takes ownership of a small dachshund named Pam-Pam to assist her in her training and skill sets.
