It's that time of year again when spring is in full swing and hormones are running rampant. Copperhead huffed - it wasn't all that long ago he had undergone the uncomfortable shedding process but even that couldn't begin to compare to how he felt now, peeling off the final layers of a fresh shed. Green eyes darted to the mirror as they caught an unusual flash of colour beneath his hood; scales that were normally black were now a vibrant crimson, providing a stark contrast against hues of orange, black and white.

Time is Running Out by Muse is such an angsty wolfsnake song, I just can't get enough of it (for this to make any sense I feel I should confess that 'I'm not planning to avert canon' turned into 'what if this Isfan/Gurgin idea merged with a Gurgin survival AU' and this track represents Isfan's POV after finding out the truth about who Gurgin really is and what he's done but being unable to cut ties with him completely even though he wishes he could).

This season was NOT off to a good start.

Oh sure everything was fine until a certain clumsy fire elemental tripped and broke not one but BOTH his legs and was out for the season. With Heath gone, they were a player short. They tried calling in a few reserves but unfortunately the mansters AND ghouls have made plans.

So now they were holding auditions to see if there was anybloody who could fill in the spot. Clawd, Deuce and Ghoulia were at the booth outside the school watch as each monster went through the practice course.

Deuce thought about asking Finnigan Wake, seeing how he was one of the wildest dudes in the school. But he had his own venture plan, but suggested from a friend of a friend there was one wild dude who could wreck the course.

The gorgon was keeping his eyes peaked while Clawd was desperate at trying NOT to look or feel pitiful. Ghoulia took notes of all the track racers. The three of them ducked in time as one flew right over their heads and landed on the ground behind them, knocked out.

Ghoulia sighed and continued writing before saying...

     ❝ Aahhhahhhuhhhhh (We'll, uh, call you. Next?) ❞

     ❝ I don't think I've seen that many dudes eat granite before. ❞

Off topic but I'm strongly considering retconning Copperhead's type of venom? In Suicide: Path to Hell, it was shown to be acidic but it wasn't natural venom, rather being a part of Sameer's body modification. In the comics, Copperhead's venom was a powerful neurotoxin capable of paralyzing victims and causing death within 30 minutes of envenomation but again, it wasn't natural because the venom was part of the suit so I'm thinking that as his venom is natural, it shouldn't be acidic but WILL fuck you up and very quickly if left untreated?

Perhaps i've always told myself I offer a lot of variety in muses. I used to tell myself I didn't have a set type I like to portray, but i'm a big liar. When I made a post about being a female welcoming roleplay blog, let me just tell you i'm a big powerhouse woman advocate. I'm the whole 'females stepping on you' committee.

The type of woman to give her all protecting everyone else despite not being the strongest & despite having severe injuries? I was the first one to sign up. The women who can be emotional but don't hesitate to stand up for their own?? I HAVE A TYPE, OKAY. Anyways this a post to celebrate my strong willed muses who make me cry.

This includes Skye because unfortunately she's a video game character and doesn't have any manga panels, but she's very much a part of this. Also this includes Levy McGarden, I just couldn't find a good manga panel to properly go with this theme. But these two very much deserve their spots too.

Sevren’s most comfortable form is a half way point between human, and snake. So he’ll have his human shape, but his eyes will be slitted, with the whites fading to black. He’ll have scales showing in quite a few places, a forked tongue, and fangs. 

But despite it being the most comfortable, he really hates it and so uses more energy than needed even while at home to look as close to human as possible.
