Sero is someone always quick to compliment you, to tell you how much he loves you, and to shoot you one of his blinding smiles. However, the thing you remember most, perhaps the thing you crave the most, is the way his hands engulf yours. Impossibly large and warm, when his fingers twine with yours it makes your heart soar while also making your soul anchored. Finally you feel tethered to something real, something endlessly important. I always felt that Sero’s love language was physical affection - words and services are nice, but feeling the love that can be passed through a simple touch is what makes his heart swoon. It also helps him break out his trances, the ones where he just can’t seem to break from, the ones that leave him in a funk - and NOT the good kind - And he just.... thinks that touch can say so much more than words every could in times like that.

And of course that is how HE shows his love. Because it helps ground his partner to him, to let them feel this love and support the easiest, and there won’t be any kind of miscommunication when he fumbles with words to find the right thing to say.

Plus... he just likes to hold your hand. So if he can somehow get to have you crave holding his hand in any scenario or situation - he’s a happy man

koutarou either doesn't understand or doesn't care how quickly your children grow he insists on getting the matching jerseys he has made for the whole family resized, like, immediately when they don't fit right anymore lol. does not care that they're a lil expensive to keep replacing considering he has them made very officially to exactly match his own game jersey. and when you try to break it to him that they're just going to keep growing... he's like well yeah, puffs up, they're my kids.

they've got a papa to represent so they need a new one stat. no ifs ands or buts.

Okay, first of all the fact you did this AFTER I sent you that fanart of him with his kids and swooning over it makes my heart warm cause you're listening. BUT ALSO makes me smile cause you're using it against me in a fun way.

ANYWAY!

This is true. Once he finds out you are having a baby, regardless of gender or anything like that, he is buying a custom jersey from them to wear the moment they are born. Like the moment they are able to wear clothes and have cute pictures taken he is slipping this customer jersey on them and having that be their first picture.

Every child you have with this man will result in the first picture ever taken of them wearing that signature #12 jersey for him to hang along the wall to show off to anyone entering your home.

And you can complain all you want, saying it's a waste of money to always get each and everyone resized every few months/years but he always says it's worth the expense! That "how else can they cheer their papa on? " and "we are raising a new generation of players, we gotta start them early so they can get used to wearing them!"

Of course, you have one; but this one is always oversized. And complain all you like about how your husband will make the effort and pay any price so your kids can get ones that fit perfectly but you can't he'll just hug you from behind, hands around your middle, and he'll say one of three things

One: "I like when it's oversized, makes it look like you're wearing my jersey - you know how much that get's me going!"

Two: "It's to show to others you're mine! Can't have it fit properly if that's the case!"

or Three: "It has to be oversized, that way it'll always fit - even if you're carrying another player!"

The whole thing makes you roll your eyes, but when you see your little ones climbing on their dad while he practices before a game, or taking a photo with him all lined up wearing the same thing as him, it makes your heart warm.

After all, they gotta represent the best ace Japan has ever seen!

Yes, to all of this, this is all extremely accurate to how I want it to be. I wanna wear the pretty frilly aprons and run around daily as I clean and dust the whole place. Fold his laundry and making sure its all neatly put away so he doesn't have to worry about it on the weekends.

I wanna cook and bake all sorts of yummy meals and desserts for him to come home to, make him bentos to take for lunch while on patrol or dropping them off at the hero agency. Surprising him because I never said I was going to do so that morning, telling him instead "to go get take out for lunch today" and then here I am, waiting by his office with a picnic basket with lunch for two.
