25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022
Day 4 - Mistletoe Mayhem
Prompt from FanFiction User malexfaith: [Full prompt will be listed at the end.]
It was a week before Winter Break, and the Trebles were holding their Annual Before Christmas Beak Party. The Bellas were all in attendance, of course.
Beca and Chloe were standing together, sipping their drinks and watching all the goings-on.
"One of us should do something about that," Beca said.
"Do something about what?" Chloe asked.
"That," Beca said, pointing to Stacie.
Chloe looked over to see Stacie in a liplock with one of the newer Trebles. The poor guy didn't know what to do with his hands or lips from the way Stacie released the kiss and pushed him away. Stacie laughed as the hunter went in search of some new blood.
"Whoa," Jesse said as he grabbed the guy to keep him from going after Stacie. "We talked about this; all Bellas are off limits."
"But she kissed me," the guy said.
"It doesn't matter," Jesse said. "Off limits means off limits."
Jesse turned the guy to face the direction of the other Trebles and gave him a little push.
"Thanks, Jesse," Beca said as the dazed guy stumbled away from them.
"No problem," Jesse said.
"I hate to break this up," Chloe said. "But it's getting late, and we should probably get the girls back to the house."
"Good luck with that," Jesse said, chuckling as he went over to the Trebles.
"You're right," Beca said, moving toward the girls. "Alright, Bellas! Time to go. Let's move it. Back to the house, all of you."
"I don't want to," Fat Amy said, plopping herself down on the ground. "And you can't make me."
"Fine," Beca said, looking down at Amy. "Sit out here all night for all I care. But be prepared to run extra laps if you're late for rehearsal tomorrow."
"Why do we even have a rehearsal the day after a party?" Cynthia Rose asked. "Everyone is hungover, and we don't get anything done."
"Can you do something with them?" Beca asked Chloe. "They never listen to me."
"Okay, Beca," Chloe said. "I'll get Amy and Cynthia Rose. You get the other girls."
"Okay," Beca said, looking around to see if there were any Bellas who weren't drunk. "Hey, Flo? Could you and Emily help us get the other girls back to the house?"
"Of course," Flo said, hurrying over to help Chloe with Amy.
"I've got Stacie," Emily said, wrapping an arm around the girl's waist to drag her away from the Trebles.
Ashley and Jessica weren't too drunk, so it was easy for Beca to get them to follow Emily and Stacie while she brought up the rear. Chloe followed close behind with Cynthia Rose draped over her shoulders. Beca looked back for Flo and Amy. Flo was pushing Amy toward the house, yelling something in Spanish. Beca didn't know what Flo was yelling, but it made Amy keep moving, so she wasn't going to complain.
"Everyone to bed," Beca said as soon as they were inside the house. "We have rehearsal tomorrow at nine sharp."
Beca and Chloe grabbed water and pain relievers to take to each of the girls.
"I'll take these up to Stacie and Cynthia-," Beca started to say but stopped when she saw Jessica looking at her and Chloe with a goofy smile. "What?"
Jessica pointed over the heads of Beca and Chloe; they both looked up.
"Oh, for fuck's sake," Beca said. "Who put that there?"
Jessica shrugged, mumbling, "I don't know."
"It doesn't matter who put it there," Ashley said. "You have to kiss; it's the rules."
Beca looked at Chloe, who was staring at her with a raised brow.
"Fine," Beca said and quickly pecked Chloe on the lips.
Chloe's eyebrows shot up to her hairline in surprise.
"Hmm," Chloe said. "A kiss on the lips. It must be Christmas!"
"Don't get used to it, Beale," Beca said, chuckling as she blushed.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
The next day, Beca and Chloe somehow got the girls up, dressed, and ready to head to the auditorium. Just as they were about to walk out the door, Stacie stopped and cleared her throat.
Beca and Chloe stood at the foot of the stairs looking at Stacie.
"What?" Beca asked.
Stacie smirked and looked up. Beca and Chloe looked up as well.
"What the Hell?" Beca exclaimed, seeing the mistletoe hanging over their heads. "Who put that up there?"
Chloe didn't say anything; she just leaned in and gave Beca a quick peck on the lips. Beca blushed and looked down at the ground to hide the small smile on her face. Chloe saw this and grinned.
"You know we'd be here all day if we didn't kiss," Chloe said. She turned to the girls. "Okay, the show's over, let's get to rehearsal."
The Bellas were laughing as they turned and walked out of the house. Beca sighed and followed the girls out the door.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
The girls were sprawled over the floor as Beca and Chloe stood in front of them.
"You girls are pathetic," Beca said, looking around at the group. "I am recommending, no ordering you to do plenty of cardio during the break. We can't have anyone falling out during an actual competition"
The girls all groaned and then suddenly started giggling. Beca furrowed her brow and turned to Chloe with a "WTF" look. Chloe shrugged and looked at the girls. Emily was pointing over their heads.
Beca sighed. "More mistletoe?" she mumbled without looking up.
"I'm afraid so," Chloe said, looking up to see mistletoe over their heads. "How did they even get it up there?"
Beca looked up and then back down to Chloe.
"Fuck it," Beca said and crashed her lips into Chloe's.
The Bellas cheered, and Beca finally pulled back after a few seconds. Those extra few seconds of the kiss left Chloe wide-eyed as the Bellas laughed at them.
Beca turned to the Bellas, smirking as she said, "That's it. Rehearsals are over; get out of here or start running more laps."
The girls sobered up quickly and hurried out of the Auditorium.
"I can't believe they keep doing this to us," Beca said as she and Chloe gathered their stuff. "They're obsessed with getting us to kiss."
"Is kissing me really such a bad thing?" Chloe asked.
"Um, I'm sure that no matter how I answer that question," Beca said. "It will come out wrong."
Chloe hummed and took Beca's arm as they walked out of the auditorium.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
Over the next couple of days, the mistletoe bandit kept putting mistletoe up. Beca would see it and shake her head. She could have removed it, but having to kiss Chloe wasn't really that big a deal.
Beca's aversion to wanting to kiss her kept Chloe ever vigilant, and she managed to keep herself from being under the mistletoe, especially around Beca. Although, she wasn't totally against having to kiss Beca under the mistletoe again.
Beca noticed that the mistletoe was suddenly absent from the Bellas House. She kept an eye out for it, but it had magically disappeared.
The day before they were all to leave for the Winter/Christmas Break, Beca found herself alone in the house. She was standing on the stepladder near the front door when Chloe came in unexpectedly.
"Beca?" Chloe said, seeing Beca staring at her like a deer in headlights. "What are you doing?"
Beca thrust her hand behind her. "Nothing."
"Is that. . .mistletoe?" Chloe asked, seeing the sprig in Beca's hand.
"Nooooo," Beca said, throwing the mistletoe over her shoulder. "It's, um, it's nothing."
"Beca," Chloe said. "Were you taking it down because you're through with the whole mistletoe and trying to get us to kiss under it?"
"Yes. No, I, um, I," Beca said as she climbed down to stand in front of Chloe. "Oh, who am I kidding? I was putting it up and was planning to wait for you to come in. Then when you were under it, I was going to, um, kiss you."
"I thought you didn't want to kiss me," Chloe said.
"I didn't at first," Beca said. "But then I kind of liked kissing you, and I, um, I really wanted to do it again."
Chloe smiled and walked behind Beca, picking up the mistletoe. She walked back to stand in front of Beca and held the mistletoe over her head.
"So, do it again."
"Do what again?"
"Kiss me, you idiot," Chloe said, stepping closer.
Beca smiled and leaned in to kiss Chloe. Chloe pulled Beca tighter to her and deepened the kiss.
The kiss ended with both girls smiling. Chloe gave Beca a quick peck on the lips before saying, "For the record, you don't need mistletoe to kiss me. Feel free to do it anytime you want."
"Good to know," Beca mumbled as she reconnected their lips.
Full Prompt from FanFiction User malexfaith: Someone keeps hanging mistletoe up to force kisses between Beca and Chloe. Eventually, Chloe catches Beca hanging the mistletoe, and Beca responds with, "I just really wanted to kiss you."

25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022
Day 21 - (We Will Not Be Having) A Green-Eyed Monster Christmas Wedding
Follow-up to I'll Have A Green-Eyed Monster Christmas (Chapter 26 from the 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2019).
A year after becoming engaged, Beca and Chloe are planning their Christmas Wedding. Chloe wants to invite everyone (including Chicago) from the dance studio to the wedding. Beca is none too happy about Chicago being invited, especially since he's still up to his old tricks of trying to get with Chloe.
Last Christmas, Beca proposed to Chloe, and Chloe said yes. They are planning a Christmas wedding this year and were discussing their guest lists. Beca had just seen Chloe's guest list and was none too happy about one of the people on the list.
"You're still planning to invite Chicago even after I explicitly said I don't want him there," Beca said. "Why?"
"I'm inviting everyone else from the studio," Chloe said for what felt like the hundredth time. "It wouldn't feel right not inviting him, too."
"You know I hate the guy," Beca said. "It's my wedding, too, and I don't want him there."
"It won't matter because he'll probably decline the invitation," Chloe said, shrugging.
"No, he won't," Beca said. "He'll be there, and he'll hit on you like he always does because you won't stop him."
"Beca," Chloe said. "I can't keep having this same argument with you. It doesn't matter what he wants or does. I'm marrying you, not him."
"You keep saying that," Beca said. "And yet he still does everything he can to get under my skin. And you still have done nothing to stop him."
"Beca," Chloe said. "Let's not do this now."
"You're right," Beca said. "Let's not."
Beca grabbed her jacket and stormed out of the kitchen. She left Chloe's apartment, slamming the door behind her.
"Dammit!" Chloe mumbled as she flopped back in her seat.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
Beca was angry as she drove off. But, after a few minutes, she calmed down and called Stacie.
"Hey, Beca," Stacie said. "I thought you and Chloe were doing wedding stuff today."
"We were," Beca said. "But, we can't get past her guest list. Did you know she's still planning to invite Chicago? She knows I hate that guy, but insists on inviting him anyway."
"Come here; we can talk," Stacie said.
Beca hesitated but then said, "I can be there in ten."
"See you then," Stacie said. "And be careful."
"I will," Beca said.
"Beca and Chloe are arguing again," Stacie told Aubrey when she ended the call. "Beca is coming here so we can talk."
"What are they arguing about now?" Aubrey asked.
"The same thing they've been arguing about for almost a year," Stacie said. "Chicago. Apparently, Chloe is still planning to invite him to the wedding."
Aubrey shook her head. "I don't know why. She knows Beca doesn't like him or want him there."
"I know that," Stacie said. "But Chloe doesn't seem to care about that.'
"That's not true," Aubrey said. "She loves Beca with every fiber of her being."
"I know she loves her," Stacie said. "But, if she cared so much about what Beca wants, why does she keep pushing Chicago on Beca when she knows how much Beca hates the guy?"
Aubrey crossed her arms over her chest. "I don't know."
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
Beca was much calmer by the time she finished talking with Stacie and Aubrey. Aubrey had made one valid point that Beca could get behind. Aubrey suggested Chicago kept hitting on Chloe because he knew it would bug Beca. She then suggested that Beca should ignore him when he does that.
Beca agreed and decided to go talk to Chloe and apologize for her earlier behavior.
Chloe was surprised to open the door and find Beca standing there.
"Can we talk?" Beca asked.
"Come in," Chloe said, a bit wary that the talk would lead to more arguing about Chicago.
Beca entered the apartment and followed Chloe into the living room. Chloe sat on the sofa, and Beca sat next to her.
"I want to start by apologizing," Beca said. "I'm sorry for storming out on you. And I'm sorry I let Chicago get under my skin. I know it's not an excuse, but I was jealous."
"Jealous?" Chloe asked. "You have no reason to be jealous. Especially of him. I love you and only you!"
"I love you, too," Beca said. "I've said it before, and I'll say it again; I trust you, I don't trust him. And I promise I am not going to let him get to me anymore."
Beca sighed and took Chloe's hand in hers.
"I'm sorry for making things difficult. You know you can invite whoever you want to the wedding whether I like them or not, right? I should be excited over the fact that we are planning our wedding and that you and I will become partners for life. Can you forgive me for being an idiot?"
"I can forgive you as long as you can forgive me," Chloe said, pulling Beca to her. "I'm really sorry about the whole thing with Chicago."
"Let's not give him another thought," Beca said, kissing Chloe. "Let's talk about the wedding. Do you want to talk about our guest list or something else?"
"Let's talk about our dresses," Chloe said, smiling at Beca. "I've scheduled my mom and Aubrey to look at wedding dresses with me in two weeks. Maybe you and Stacie should make plans to look for yours soon as well."
"Why can't I look at dresses with you?" Beca asked.
"Because it's bad luck to see your bride's dress before the wedding," Chloe said.
"I thought that was only meant for the groom," Beca said, smirking. "What's the rule when there are two brides?"
"It still applies," Chloe chuckled. "Nice try, though."
Beca chuckled as well but then became serious.
"I asked my mom about going with me to look for a dress," Beca said. "But, she still doesn't accept that I'm marrying a woman and said no. She also said not to look for her to be at the wedding."
"I'm sorry to hear that," Chloe said, getting up and going into the kitchen.
Beca watched Chloe leave with a furrowed brow. Chloe came back a moment later carrying a pen and the guest list. She sat next to Beca and held up the list.
"I already crossed Chicago's name off the guest list," Chloe said. "Do you want to cross off your mother's name, or shall I?"
"I'll do it," Beca said, taking the pen and making a line through her mother's name. "Thank you."
"Is there anyone else we need to remove?" Chloe asked.
"Not that I can think of," Beca said.
"Good," Chloe said, straddling Beca's lap and putting her arms around Beca's neck. "Now let's talk about whether you're spending the night with me here tonight or if I'm spending the night with you at your house."
"I thought we were discussing the wedding," Beca said, kissing Chloe's neck.
"We can do that, too," Chloe said, nibbling on Beca's ear.
Beca moaned and said, "I don't have anything to wear for tomorrow. Grab your stuff, and we'll go to my house."
"Good idea," Chloe said, kissing Beca before moving off her. "I'll be ten minutes."
Beca smiled as she watched Chloe walk away.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
After Beca promised not to let Chicago get to her anymore, she was happier than ever. Even on days when she went to the dance studio to have lunch with Chloe or pick her up to take her home when Chloe finished work, Beca would smile politely at Chicago and then ignore his blatant attempts at flirting with Chloe.
The wedding was just a few weeks away, and Beca and Stacie were at their final fitting for their dresses. Stacie had just finished changing into street clothes and was waiting for Beca to put on her dress.
Beca looked in the mirror and smiled.
"It looks amazing," Beca mumbled as she ran her hand down the dress. "Wait until Chloe gets a load of me in this."
"Come on, Beca," Stacie called from outside the dressing room. "Let me see how it looks."
"Coming," Beca said, exiting the dressing room.
"Wow!" Stacie said and whistled. "If I wasn't so in love with Brey, I might make a move on you."
"What do you think Chloe will say about it?"
"Probably nothing," Stacie said, quickly adding, "She'll be rendered speechless."
Beca turned to look at herself in the three-paneled mirror behind her. She turned this way and that to see how she looked from every angle.
"Yep," Stacie said. "You'll definitely render her speechless."
Beca nodded her head and continued to look in the mirror.
"I can't wait for our wedding day."
"Get changed," Stacie said. "We're supposed to meet Brey and Chloe for lunch."
"I'll be right out," Beca said, returning to the dressing room.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
It was finally Christmas, which also meant it was Beca and Chloe's wedding day. The two brides were in the 'bride's rooms' at the church, each with their Maid of Honor attending to them.
"How is it that I'm nervous, and you're the one getting married?" Stacie asked Beca as she did her makeup.
"I know this is going to be one of the best days of my life," Beca said. "Chloe completes me. I know that's a movie reference, but I don't know from what movie. I just know it fits this situation."
"Beca, are you ready?" Aubrey asked as she entered the room.
"I'm all set," Beca said, standing and smoothing her dress.
"Wow, Beca," Aubrey said. "That dress is amazing. Wait until Chloe gets a load of you in that."
"How is she doing?" Beca asked.
"She's nervous," Aubrey said. "And excited."
"I know the feeling," Beca said. "Stacie, could you let my dad know I'm ready?"
"I will," Stacie said. "Come on, Brey. I'll walk you back to Chloe's room."
The two left, and Beca stood alone, waiting for her father.
"Beca?" Dr. Mitchell said from the doorway. "They're waiting for us."
"Let's not keep them waiting," Beca said, walking over to her father and taking his offered arm.
"You look amazing, by the way," Dr. Mitchell said as they walked to the door they would use to enter the chapel.
"Thanks," Beca said. "So do you."
"You ready for this, Beca?" Stacie asked from her place in front of Beca and her father.
"More than ready," Beca said. "Let's do this."
The traditional wedding march began, and the doors to the chapel opened. Stacie slowly made her way down the aisle as Beca and her father waited in the doorway. Beca's breath hitched when she looked past Stacie to see Chloe standing on the altar with Aubrey.
The music changed slightly, and Dr. Mitchell began to lead Beca down the aisle. Beca's eyes met Chloe's; Chloe smiled and winked at her.
Beca's eyes never left Chloe's as she made her way to the steps leading up to the altar. Leading up to Chloe.
Chloe reached out a hand as Beca took her place and stood face-to-face with Chloe.
If anyone were to ask Beca about how she felt standing up to exchange vows with Chloe, she would not have been able to answer. Once she looked directly into Chloe's eyes, everything around her disappeared. She did not see anyone or anything but Choe.
"I now pronounce you married," the officiant said, bringing Beca out of the spell she had fallen under. "You may kiss your bride."
Chloe giggled and pulled Beca to her, crashing their lips together in the first kiss as a married couple.
The kiss ended, and Beca hugged Chloe, muttering. "Merry Christmas. I love you."
"I love you, too," Chloe whispered, pulling out of the hug. She threw up her arms and yelled, "Woo Hoo! It's official, we're married!"
The crowd laughed and clapped as the newly married couple left the altar and, holding hands, started down the aisle to begin their new life together.

25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022
Day 7 - Rescue Me Again
Summary: Beca finds herself in a predicament, and Chloe has to help save her (again). Part of the Firefighter!Chloe Universe.
It was the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and Beca and Chloe were enjoying one of the few lazy, work-free Saturdays they managed to have together. Beca was holding Dylan on her lap, and they were talking about Christmas.
"Before I forget, the Department's holiday party is on Friday the twenty-third," Chloe said. "I put it on our calendar. It's for the families, so Dylan is invited, too."
"Would you text me the info?" Beca asked. "I want to put it on my work calendar."
"Sure," Chloe said, pulling out her phone and sending the info to Beca. "We should go shopping for a suit for Dylan to wear to the party. I figure if he's going to be our date and we're going to be dressed up, he should be dressed up as well."
"We can do that," Beca said. "Slight change of subject?"
"Go for it," Chloe said.
"What should we do about Dylan's birthday?" Beca asked. "I love our son, but him being born on Christmas Eve makes it hard to find a good time for a birthday party."
"Hmm," Chloe said. "Good question. I'll think about it and come up with something to do for him. It might be something with just us on his actual birthday. We can do something bigger after the holiday."
"That's a great idea, mama," Beca said.
"Ma-ma," Dylan cooed.
"Oh, my God!" Beca said. "He said the first word we could understand. Say it again, Dyl. Say mama. Can you say mama?"
"Ma-ma," Dylan said.
"That's my boy," Chloe said, wiping a tear from her eye.
Chloe took Dylan from Beca and wrapped him in a hug. "I love you, my sweet boy."
She then leaned over to kiss Beca. "And I love you, too!"
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
One week later, Chloe sat holding Dylan while watching Beca rush around, gathering up everything she needed to take with her to the studio.
"I'm sorry, babe," Beca said. "I know it's your only day off this week, but I'm on a tight deadline with everyone wanting to drop Christmas albums. The studio wants to get them out in time for the Christmas rush, which means I'm already about two days behind."
"We understand," Chloe said. "I think I'll take Dylan shopping for a suit if that's okay with you."
"I'm sad I'm going to miss that," Beca said. "But if we don't get it today, I don't know when we'll be able to get it done."
"I promise we'll find the perfect suit for him," Chloe said. "Something festive that will match what we're wearing."
"Sounds good to me," Beca said. "I have to go."
Chloe stood and pulled Beca into a hug. They kissed; Beca gave Dylan a kiss on the cheek.
"I hope to be back in time for dinner," Beca said. "I'll text you when I know for sure."
"Okay," Chloe said, kissing Beca. "We love you."
"I love you guys, too," Beca said before kissing Dylan and Chlo one more time.
Beca left, and Chloe took Dylan to his room to get him ready for their shopping trip.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
Chloe was pleased with the suit she found for Dylan. He looked so freaking cute in it that she decided to hide it away to surprise Beca with it on the day of the party.
"Mommy's gonna love you in this," Chloe said as Dylan sat in his crib, looking at her. " I know mommy and I are going to be the envy of every other woman in the place because we will have the handsomest date ever!"
Dylan cooed and waved his arms, "Ma-ma!"
Chloe smiled as she walked over to the crib. "What is it? Are you ready for your nap?"
Dylan yawned and Chloe 'awwed.'
"I'll take that as a yes," Chloe said, chuckling.
She reached into the crib and lay Dylan on his back, tucking his favorite stuffed red panda next to him.
"Go to sleep," Chloe said, leaning down to kiss Dylan's forehead. "Mama's got some work to do. Have a good sleep, and I'll see you in a couple of hours."
Chloe grabbed the baby monitor and left Dylan's room. She walked down the hall to the home office she shared with Beca. She sat at her desk and opened the file she had been working on. She believed the fire was arson but had nothing to go on to prove it. There was something about the case that just didn't sit well with her, and she was having trouble figuring out what it was that bothered her so much about it.
After about thirty minutes, Chloe shut the file and rubbed her eyes.
"This is giving me a headache," Chloe mumbled. "Maybe I should figure out what to make for dinner."
Chloe took the baby monitor with her as she left the office. She did a quick check on Dylan before continuing to the kitchen. She set the monitor on the counter and opened the refrigerator, where she saw some ground beef.
"Maybe I'll make spaghetti and meatballs," Chloe thought as she pulled out the package of meat.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
Dylan was happily sitting in his high chair while Chloe was putting the final touches on dinner. Her phone pinged, indicating an incoming text.
"Maybe it's mommy," Chloe told Dylan as she checked her phone. Chloe smiled as she read the text. "It is from mommy."
LoveOfMyLife: I'm leaving for home now. I missed lunch and I'm starving. Want me to pick up something for dinner?
Chloe responded immediately.
RedHotMama: I'm making spaghetti and meatballs. Should be ready by the time you get here.
LoveOfMyLife: God, I love you! See you soon.
RedHotMama: I love you, too. Be safe!
Chloe pocketed her phone and looked at Dylan. "Mommy will be home soon, bud," she said.
"Mom-mom," Dylan gurgled.
"Oh, my god," Chloe said, grabbing Dylan's hands in her own. "Are you trying to say mommy? I bet mommy's going to be so excited to hear you say it for her. Say mommy, Dyl. Can you say mommy?"
"Ma-ma," Dylan said, waving his arms.
"That's right, Dyl, I'm mama," Chloe chuckled. "We'll try saying mommy again when mommy gets home. Okay?"
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
Two weeks later, Beca found herself alone with Dylan while Chloe went into the office. She had just finished changing him when she picked him up and looked around.
"Where did mama hide your suit, Dyl?" Beca asked. "Mommy wants to see it."
"Ma-ma," Dylan cooed.
"That's right," Beca said, snuggling Dylan to her. "Where did ma-ma hide your suit?"
Beca walked over to the closet and stood with her hand on the doorknob.
"Is it in here?" Beca asked, pulling the door open and causing Dylan to giggle.
Beca hitched him up so he was sitting comfortably on her hip and looked around but didn't see the suit.
"Beca, what are you doing?" Chloe asked from the doorway.
"Nothing," Beca said as she immediately stepped out of the closet and closed the door.
"It's not in there," Chloe said, smirking.
"I have no idea what you are talking about," Beca said, blushing slightly. "Now, if you'll excuse us, Dylan and I have a date at the park."
Chloe chuckled and walked over to Beca. She kissed Dylan on the cheek and stared at Beca.
"What are you doing here anyway?" Beca asked. "Aren't you supposed to be at work?"
"I forgot a file I needed," Chloe said, holding up a file. "And stop snooping. You'll see Dylan in his suit on the day of the party."
"But I really want to see it now," Beca whined.
"And you will see it," Chloe said, mimicking Beca's whiney voice. "Just not now."
"Fine," Beca said. "I'll wait until he's dressed for the party to see his suit."
"Good girl," Chloe said, pecking Beca's lips. "I really have to go. I'll see you for dinner."
"Have a good day," Beca called out as Chloe left.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
It was finally the day of the Fire Department's holiday party, and Chloe had to go to the office.
"I'm taking my dress and Dylan's suit with me," Chloe said. "Meet me at my office around six. I'll be ready and can dress Dylan in his suit when you get there."
"Okay," Beca said. "I already ordered a car to pick us up at five-thirty, so we should be there by six."
"Thank you," Chloe said, kissing Beca. "I really have to go. Oh, I almost forgot my bag of gifts; there's something in there for the Toys for Tots box."
"I left it by the door for you," Beca said.
"You're the best," Chloe said, pulling Beca into a kiss. "Be careful, and I'll see you guys tonight."
"We will," Beca said. "You be safe. And we love you, too."
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
Beca's time with Dylan seemed to fly by, and before she knew it, it was time to get ready to head to LAFD Headquarters to meet Chloe for the party. Earlier, when she put Dylan down for a late nap, she took the opportunity to shower, so all she had to do was get dressed and do her hair and makeup.
The car was there at exactly five-thirty as scheduled. Beca strapped Dylan into the car seat, and off they went to meet Chloe.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
On the other hand, Chloe's day went by slowly; she was anxious to show off Beca and Dylan since they missed last year's party because of Beca's pregnancy. Thoughts of her small family distracted her, and she couldn't focus on her work. She sighed and went back to the same file that had been giving her trouble and read it for what felt like the hundredth time today.
After a few more hours of looking over the file and no conclusion forthcoming to the investigation, Chloe put the file away and stood to stretch. Her phone rang, and she looked at the caller ID.
"Hey, babe," Chloe answered. "Where are you? I thought you'd be here by now."
"Funny thing," Beca said. "We're stuck in the elevator."
"What?!" Chloe yelled. "Which one?"
"Um, I don't know," Beca said.
"There should be a number on the panel near the door," Chloe said as she buzzed her Assistant using her desk phone. "George, could you come in here, please?"
"Yes, ma'am," George responded.
"Um, the number is twelve," Beca said. "I think someone used the emergency phone and called it in."
"Do you know what floors you stopped between?"
"Um, four and five," Beca answered.
"Okay," Chloe said. "Are you and Dylan okay?"
"We're fine," Beca said. "There is one lady here who seems to be having a panic attack, so we'll need a paramedic for her."
"Don't worry," Chloe said. "I'm coming to you."
"Be careful," Beca said.
"George," Chloe said when she saw her Assitant standing at the door. "We have a stuck elevator, and I'm going to go help with the rescue. Can you get me a paramedic's kit and bring it to floor five? I believe that's where they'll be there organizing the rescue."
"On it, ma'am," George said, rushing out of the office.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
Chloe ran out after George and went to the stairs. She ran down two flights and exited on the fifth floor. She wasn't surprised to see Jesse, Chicago, and Benji in their gear, standing by the elevator doors.
"Jesse, what do we know?" Chloe asked.
"There are about a dozen people in the car, including a small child," Jesse said.
"It's Dylan," Chloe said, running a hand through her hair. "Beca is stuck in there with Dylan."
The guys looked at each other.
"Captain," Chicago said. "We're going to go in from the top here. Once we get these doors open, we'll secure them. We have to remove the hatch and lower the ladder, then we can get everyone out."
"I'm going in first," Chloe said as George ran up with a paramedic's bag. "Beca told me there's a woman having a panic attack. I'll drop down to see what I can do to help her, then you guys get the ladder in place and get everyone else out, okay?"
"You got it, Captain," Chicago said. "And don't worry. We'll take good care of Beca and Dylan for you."
"Let's do this," Chloe said.
Inside the elevator, Beca was trying to keep Dylan calm. So far, she had been successful despite the panicky woman who was setting everyone's nerves on edge.
"It's times like this when I wish I had a pocketful of those little bottles of liquor the airlines hand out," Beca said, causing those around her to chuckle. "Or maybe some of those stale peanuts, so we don't start turning on each other in hunger."
The car became quiet as there was sudden noise coming from the roof of the car.
"What the hell is that?" a woman asked as everyone started to talk and look up.
"That's probably the firefighters who are going to get us out," Beca said, trying to keep up everyone calm. "Don't worry, they know what they're doing."
Then a muffled voice called out, "I need everyone to move away from the hatch."
"Did they say hatch?" someone asked. "What hatch?"
Everyone looked up and saw the ceiling move; they all stepped away to clear the area as much as they could. Several people gasped when a pair of legs suddenly appeared in the hatch.
"You're good, Captain," Jesse said from above.
Chloe nodded and lowered herself completely, dropping to the floor with a soft thud. The paramedic bag was handed down to her.
"Chloe?!" Beca said, causing Chloe to look at her and smile.
"Okay, everyone," Chloe said, taking charge. "I need you to open a bit more space here so my guys can lower the ladder."
Everyone again moved away as much as they could.
"Lower the ladder," Chloe called up.
Chloe pushed past a few and made her way to the woman sitting with her back against the wall. She opened her bag and pulled out the oxygen and mask.
"Ma'am," Chloe said, causing the woman to look at her. "I'm going to put this oxygen mask on to help your breathing, okay?"
The woman nodded, and Chloe placed the mask on the woman.
"Are you feeling any pain?" Chloe asked.
The woman shook her head.
"Okay," Jesse said once the ladder was down and in place. "I need you to come up one at a time. Nice and easy."
"Are you fucking serious?" a man asked.
"Very," Jesse said. "Ladies first. Just make a line, and we'll be here to help you out."
A young woman stepped forward and shakily made her way up the ladder.
"There you go," Jesse said, helping the woman through the hatch.
"Step this way," Chicago said, taking the woman's hand. "Use that box, and my friend Benji will help you the rest of the way."
"Thank you," the woman said.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
The elevator occupants made their way up the ladder. Beca took Dylan from his stroller. The guy who was next in line to go up the ladder told Beca to go ahead.
"I can't do it and carry my son," Beca said.
"Beca?" Chloe called out. "Wait for me; I'll carry Dylan out."
"Thank you, but you can go ahead," Beca told the guy. "I'll wait for the firefighter to help me."
The guy nodded and went up.
"It's okay, Dyl," Beca said, stepping off to the side as she bounced Dylan up and down to keep him calm. "Mama's going to rescue us. She's really good at it."
The woman Chloe was helping was calm now, and Chloe removed the oxygen mask.
"Do you think you can stand and get up the ladder?"
"I, uh, I think so," the woman said.
Chloe helped the woman stand and walked over to the ladder as the last person made their way up.
"Jesse, can you come down to help this woman up the ladder?" Chloe called out. "She's still a bit shaky, and she's going to need some help. I have to get Beca and Dylan."
Jesse came down the ladder and helped the woman to the ladder. The woman stepped up the first rung; Jesse placed his hand on either side of the ladder, blocking her in to keep her from falling.
"Take your time," Jesse said. "I'm here for you. You'll be fine."
The woman nodded and continued up the ladder. Jesse followed and stopped when his head was at the hatch. He looked down at Beca and Chloe.
"Hand me Dylan," Jesse said, holding onto the ladder with one hand and reaching down with the other.
Chloe took Dylan from Beca. She kissed him on the cheek before holding him up for Jesse to take. Jesse took Dylan and held him close to his chest. He moved up one step and looked through the hatch.
"Chicago," Jesse said. "I need you to take Dylan from here."
Chicago knelt next to the hatch and reached down. Jesse held Dylan up, and Chicago took him, carefully lifting him the rest of the way through the hatch.
"Good boy, Dylan," Chicago said, cuddling Dylan to his chest.
Chicago stood and stepped toward the door.
"Benji?" Chicago called, causing Benji to reappear in the doorway. "Take him."
Benji took Dylan and held him close. Jesse cleared the hatch and looked back at Chloe.
"He's clear," Jesse said. "Benji's got him."
Chloe nodded and looked at Beca. "You're next."
Beca quickly kissed Chloe and then made her way up the ladder. Chloe bracketed Beca with her arms to make sure she made it up the ladder safely.
"Thanks, Jesse," Beca said as he helped her through the hatch.
Once Beca was clear, she immediately looked for Dylan.
"Mom-mom," Dylan said, reaching for Beca.
"Mommy's here, Dyl," Beca said, taking Dylan from Benji. "Thanks, Benji."
Once Beca was out, Chloe looked around to ensure they had everything. She grabbed Dylan's diaper bag and the paramedic bag. She went two steps up the ladder and called for Jesse.
"Yeah?" Jesse said, looking through the hatch.
"Can you take these?"
Chloe held up each bag, and Jesse took them.
"Okay, you're good," Jesse said and helped Chloe through the hatch.
Chloe stepped off the box and immediately went over to Beca and Dylan, pulling them into a hug.
"I'm so glad you guys are okay," Chloe murmured into Beca's neck.
"You're always saving me," Beca said, leaning back to kiss Chloe.
The couple stood holding each other, taking comfort in the fact that they were okay.
"Here's your stroller, Beca," Chicago said, carrying it over to Beca and Chloe.
Chloe took it and opened it up so Beca could place Dylan in it.
"I guess we'll see you all tomorrow," Chloe said as Jesse, Chicago, and Benji moved out of the way of the maintenance crew so they could get to the elevator.
"We'll be there," Benji said. "Emily and I are looking forward to it."
"Us, too," Chicago said. "The kids love Dylan and are almost as excited about coming to his party as they are about Santa coming."
Beca and Chloe chuckled.
"Thanks for everything, guys," Beca said once again as the firefighters left.
"It's getting late," Chloe said. "We should probably get ready for the party."
"Um, do we have to go?" Beca asked, a bit teary-eyed. "I'm kind of feeling stressed, and Dylan just called me mom-mom, so my emotions are all over the place. Is it okay if I just want to go home and snuggle with him? And you."
"I'm sure folks will understand if we don't make it," Chloe said. "Besides, we can always dress Dylan up in his new suit for his birthday party tomorrow."
"Sounds like a good plan," Beca said, kissing Chloe. "I can't believe our little family outing for Dylan's birthday has turned into a full-fledged party."
"Well, it is his first birthday," Chloe said. "And you know that neither of our parents was going to miss that. Then we invited Stacie, Aubrey, and Emma. And once it became a real party, we couldn't leave out Emily and Benji."
"And if Benji was invited, we had to include Chicago and Jesse," Beca said.
"Absolutely," Chloe said.
Dylan let out a cry, and Beca leaned down to comfort him.
"Come on," Chloe said. "Let's get you two home. I have to stop by my office first."
"Do you mind if we take the stairs?" Beca asked as she maneuvered Dylan's stroller away from the elevators."
"Only going up," Chloe said.
"Deal," Beca replied.
A/N: This fic was inspired by Anna Kendrick's video of her being stuck in an elevator. I already had a note to use the video idea for a Chloe!Firefighter fic. Then, RJRMovieFan submitted a Christmas prompt for the same idea, so because great minds think alike, this happened. I hope you enjoyed it.

25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022
Day 17 - Christmas (Re)Connection
Prompt from FanFiction User malexfaith: Beca and Chloe are together in High School but break up just before they head off to separate colleges and lose touch. Five years later, they meet up again due to their careers (Beca in music; Chloe, a photographer).
Chloe entered the music studio with plenty of time to spare to make it to her appointment on time. She walked over to the receptionist's desk.
"Good afternoon," Chloe said. "I'm Chloe Beale, and I have an appointment with Mr. Burnett."
"Have a seat, and I'll let him know you're here," the receptionist said.
"Thank you," Chloe said and went to the waiting area.
Chloe sat and thumbed through a magazine she found on the table. She smiled when she came across one of her photos advertising L.A. tourism.
"Miss Beale?"
A man Chloe presumed was Mr. Burnett stood in front of her. Chloe stood and held out her hand.
"I'm Chloe."
"Theo Burnett," Theo said, shaking Chloe's hand. "Thank you for agreeing to do this on Christmas Eve. If you'll follow me, we can get started."
"It's not like I have anywhere to be for the holidays," Chloe thought as she hefted her camera bag onto her shoulder and followed after Theo.
"I hate to do this," Theo said as they waited for the elevator. "But we need you to sign a non-disclosure agreement before we start."
"May I ask why?"
"You'll see once we actually get you into the studio," Theo said as they stepped onto the elevator.
Chloe nodded. She had photographed celebrities before, so signing an NDA was not an unusual request.
"I wonder who I'm photographing," Chloe thought as she followed Theo off the elevator and to his office.
"Have a seat," Theo said, indicating a chair across from a desk.
Chloe set her camera bag down next to the chair and sat. Theo rummaged around his desk and pulled out a folder.
"I think you'll find it's a pretty standard agreement," Theo said, holding it out to Chloe.
Chloe took it and started reading. The wording was the same as other NDAs she'd signed.
"May I have a pen?" Chloe asked when she had finished reading.
Theo handed her a pen, and Chloe signed the agreement.
"I'll make sure you have a copy before you leave today," Theo said.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
Chloe walked into the studio and looked around. She smiled at the familiarity of the lights and filters. She set her camera bag down and retrieved her favorite.
"Do you mind if I take a few throwaway shots?" Chloe asked Sarah, the woman Theo had bring her to the studio.
"That's fine," Sarah said. "We can reset anything you need us to change. Just let me know."
"Is there anything, in particular, you're looking for in the photos?"
"Theo wants something sexy so it will sell," Sarah said, chuckling. "You may find that the artist is of a different opinion on what they want."
"Yikes," Chloe mumbled, chuckling. "I hope I can find a happy in-between."
"I've seen your photos," Sarah said. "I'm sure you'll do just fine."
Chloe smiled and raised the camera. She looked through the lens and snapped a couple of quick shots. She pulled the camera down and looked through what she had taken.
"Can I get this light moved about six inches to the right? It's casting a weird shadow."
"Certainly," Sarah said.
Chloe waited for the light to be moved and then took a few more shots. After looking through those, she smiled at Sarah and said, "That's much better. Mr. Burnett said there would be a laptop for me to download the photos onto."
"Yes," Sarah said. "It's set up right over here."
Chloe plugged her camera into the laptop to ensure everything was working as it should. She then took her camera and starting moving around the studio, checking shots to find the best angle and location for the shots the studio had requested.
She stood by a wall and pointed the camera down a hallway. She caught movement to one side and moved the camera to see Sarah in the frame; she quickly snapped the shot.
She realized Sarah was talking to someone walking next to her so she moved the camera and a face popped into her view. A face she knew.
Chloe gasped out a "Fuck" as she lowered the camera and then raised it back up again. "I can't believe this." Chloe mumbled, unsure of what to do.
When she noticed the two women coming toward her she quickly turned around the corner and put her back against the wall. She peeked out when she heard the voices turning in a different direction. She let out the breath she was holding and quickly made her way back over to the laptop.
Chloe set her camera down and put her head in her hands.
"Of all the people I could have been hired to photograph, it had to be Beca," Chloe thought, chewing her lip. "I should at least say hi. I mean, it's been five years, she's can't still be mad at me, right?" Chloe sighed as her inner monologue continued. "Who am I kidding? I broke her heart. I'll just stay behind the lights so she can't see me. I can do this. She doesn't have to see me for me to take her picture. Yeah, that''ll work." Chloe rubbed her temples. "Oh, God, why is seeing her having such an affect on me? And, why does she have to look so good? Screw it, I can't do this."
Chloe grabbed her camera and started to stuff it into her bag.
"Chloe?" Sarah said from behind Chloe. "Is everything alright?"
"What?" Chloe asked, acting as if she was searching for something. "Everything's fine. Ah, there it is."
Chloe turned and faced Sarah.
"I decided to try a different lens," Chloe said, holding up the lens in her hand.
"Um, okay," Sarah said. "We're ready to start whenever you are."
"Great," Chloe said. "Can we get the lights turned on?"
"James, lights on, please," Sarah said.
The lights came on and Chloe could saw Beca raise her hand and shade her eyes.
"Perfect," Chloe said, moving to the spot she had chosen to shoot the photos from.
"Where do you want Beca?" Sarah asked.
"What?" Chloe asked. "Oh, I'll leave that up to you and her. I can shoot her anywhere."
Sarah walked over to Beca.
"Why don't we start with a few shots of you sitting on the stool?" Sarah said.
"Okay," Beca said and sat on the stool, grimacing as she looked at the lights.
"Try to pretend like you're enjoying yourself," Sarah said.
"I can't see anything with those lights shining in my face," Beca said.
Chloe put the camera to her eye and snapped a few candid shots of Beca.
Sarah walked over to Beca and fluffed her hair; then she started messing with the buttons on Beca's shirt.
"Let's just," Sarah said as she attempted to unbutton two more of the buttons.
"Stop it," Beca said, smacking at Sarah's hands. "Two buttons are plenty."
"Sex sells, Beca," Sarah said. "You know the studio wants something provocative for your cover."
"I don't care," Beca said, rebuttoning the two buttons Sarah managed to unbutton.
"Same old Beca," Chloe muttered and giggled.
Beca's head shot up, and she squinted her eyes to see who giggled. She couldn't see anyone behind the lights and shook her head.
"Everything okay?" Sarah asked.
"Um, yeah," Beca said, chuckling. "That giggle reminded me of someone."
Chloe gasped and put her camera to her face so no one could see her blushing. She looked through the lens, and Beca was smiling, so she snapped the photo. She moved around a bit and snapped a few more while Beca was relaxed and at ease.
"Chloe?" Sarah called out loudly to get Chloe's attention.
Chloe's head snapped around, and she looked like a deer caught in headlights.
"Chloe?" Beca said, pushing past Sarah and walking toward Chloe. She was smiling as she said, "I knew that giggle sounded familiar."
Chloe stood there, wishing the floor would open up and swallow her.
"Um, yeah," Chloe said. "It was me."
"What? I don't get a famous Beale hug after all these years," Beca said, holding her arms out to the side.
"I'm just trying to keep it professional," Chloe said, not moving.
Beca's smile and arms dropped.
"Oh, sorry, my mistake," Beca said, turning to go back to the stool.
Instead of taking a seat, Beca walked past the stool and toward her dressing room in the back.
"Beca!?" Sarah called out, hurrying after Beca.
Chloe swallowed and looked down at the floor, wiping a tear from her eye.
"Jesus, Chloe," she muttered. "What is wrong with you?"
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
Beca stormed into her dressing room and attempted to slam the door. Sarah caught it before it closed and stepped inside, closing the door behind her.
"What the Hell was that?" Sarah asked.
"I know her," Beca said. "Or I knew her."
"Who? Chloe?"
"Yeah."
"Is working with her going to be a problem for you?" Sarah asked. "Because we're on a tight deadline, and I don't know if we'll be able to find another photographer of her caliber on such short notice, especially during the holidays. Can't you put your feelings aside and just get through this?"
"It's not me you have to worry about," Beca said. "You saw what just happened. I was trying to reconnect, and she blew me off."
"She said she wanted to keep things professional," Sarah said. "I admire her for that."
"Admire her?" Beca scoffed. "I'm the star, you're supposed to be kissing my ass and making sure I'm happy. I am not happy."
"Having a temper tantrum because someone wouldn't hug you is not a good look on you," Sarah said. "You need to take a page out of Chloe's book and keep it professional. Now, get back out there, and let's get this done."
"Fine," Beca said. "But I want to talk to Chloe first. If you can get her to talk to me, I'll be professional, and we can finish the shoot, and all will be right with the world. Otherwise, you'd better change your Christmas plans because you'll be looking for another photographer."
Sarah stared at Beca; Beca crossed her arms and stared back at her.
"Fine," Sarah said. "I'll go talk to Chloe and see if she'll come talk to you. Just be nice, okay?"
"I will," Beca said and held up three fingers. "Scout's honor."
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
Beca spent the next few minutes pacing in her dressing room. She stopped when there was a soft knock on the door. Beca opened the door to Chloe standing there.
"Sarah said you wanted to talk to me," Chloe said, standing with her arms around her waist.
"Come in," Beca said.
Chloe stepped in, and Beca closed the door. Beca looked at Chloe; Chloe was staring at the ground.
"What the hell, Chloe," Beca said. "Is hugging really that repulsive to you or something?"
"No," Chloe said. "You just surprised me. I wasn't expecting you to want to talk to me, let alone hug me."
"Why? Because you broke up with me and broke my heart. Or don't you remember that?"
"Of course, I remember," Chloe said. "I remember every second of every moment we spent together. I loved you, Beca, and that day was-. I wish I handled it better-" Chloe stopped and stood looking at Beca. "I wish things had gone differently."
"It wouldn't have mattered," Beca said, shaking her head. "You still would have broken up with me. You would have still broken my heart."
"We were leaving for colleges across the country from each other, Beca," Chloe said, running a hand through her hair. "And I believed that breaking up was the best thing to do."
"Are you sure that's the reason?" Beca asked. "Or was it because you weren't willing to try, and walking away was easier?"
"I loved you, Beca," Chloe said, barely holding it together.
"You said that already," Beca said. "It doesn't change anything."
"May I finish?" Chloe asked.
Beca nodded and looked down at the floor.
"I loved you even after we were no longer together," Chloe said. "And seeing you again today made me realize that I never stopped loving you."
Beca scoffed. "Are you trying to break my heart again? Because that's just cruel."
"No, I'm trying to tell you that I still love you," Chloe said. "I never stopped loving you."
"Loving me wasn't enough to keep us together back then," Beca said. "How can I be sure it's enough now?"
"Give me a chance to make it up to you," Chloe said. "To prove to you that I still love you. I'm not the same person I was then. I've grown up, and I'm ready to do whatever is necessary to prove that I'm not going anywhere. Are you willing to give us another chance?"
Beca held her hand out to Chloe. "Let's finish the photo shoot and then we can go somewhere and talk some more. How does that sound?"
"It sounds like we might be trying again," Chloe said, taking Beca's hand.
"I think you might be right," Beca said as they walked out of the room hand-in-hand.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
"I take it the talk went well," Sarah said when she saw Beca holding Chloe's hand.
"Yeah," Beca said, smiling.
Chloe smiled at Beca and reached up to Beca's shirt.
"What are you doing?" Beca asked, looking down at Chloe's hand as she unbuttoned 2 buttons.
"Sex sells," Chloe said, winking at Beca.
"She's right," Sarah said. "Let's get this shot so we can go home. I have a hot date waiting for me."
"So does Beca," Chloe said, picking up her camera and looking at Beca. "Go sit on the stool."
"Were you always this bossy?" Beca asked as she sat on the stool.
Chloe didn't say anything; she just turned on the floor fan and tilted it up so it was blowing Beca's hair. Chloe smiled and started snapping pictures.

25 Days of BeChloe Christmases
DAY 2 - Never Have I Ever - Bellas Christmas Edition
Summary: After the USO Tour, the Bellas had all slowly migrated west and were now living in and around LA. Beca invites them over for Christmas Eve to exchange Christmas gifts and watch the tape of her recent appearance on Ellen. Ellen's guests played Never Have I Ever; Beca's answers while playing led the Bellas to believe Beca was seeing someone. A secret someone.
It was Christmas Eve, and the Bellas were sitting around Beca's living room, waiting for Beca to return home. She had to go into the studio and asked Chloe to play hostess for her until she could get back. Beca gave them permission to watch the show without her, so they were all sitting around the living room waiting for Chloe set the TV up.
"It's ready," Chloe said. "Everyone grab a drink and some snacks so we can get started."
"Does anyone know who else is on the show with Beca?" Ashley asked.
"Yeah," Chloe said. "She told me it was Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg."
"Wow," Jessica said. "Don't they have a show together now?"
"They do," Lily said. "It's on VH1, and it's calledMartha and Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party."
"Oh yeah," CR said. "I've seen that. They are hysterical together."
"Does Beca sing on the show?" Aubrey asked.
"No," Chloe said. "She doesn't have any new music coming out. She'll be talking about that movie she just finished with Justin Timberlake."
"The one she does a voice for?" Emily asked. "Trolls."
"That's right," Chloe said, taking her seat. "Are we ready to start?"
"Let's do this," Fat Amy said as everyone settled down.
"I'm going to fast forward through the parts that Beca isn't in," Chloe said as she hit play, and the show started.
"Can we watch the opening monologue?" Ashley asked. "Ellen usually says some funny stuff during that."
"Okay," Chloe said.
The show started, and Ellen did her opening monologue. After taking her seat, she announced who was on the show before going to a commercial break. Chloe fast-forwarded through the commercial to where Beca was introduced and came onto the stage. The Bellas were talking about how good Beca looked.
After chatting a bit about the movieTrolls, Ellen went to another commercial break. Chloe fast-forwarded again and stopped when she saw Martha Stewart, Snoop Dogg, and Beca all sitting on the couch.
"Welcome back," Ellen said. "We're going to play a game calledNever Have I Ever."Ellen picks up some paddles and hands them to Beca. "Take one and pass it down."
Beca does as Ellen asks and sits, waiting for what comes next.
"The paddles each haveI Haveon one side, andI Have Noton the other. I'm going to ask a question, and you hold up the paddle with your answer as to whether you have or have not done it," Ellen explained. "And you have to be 100% honest."
"You're not giving us a lie detector test, are you?" Snoop Dogg asked, causing Beca to laugh.
"Probably not, but you have to be one hundred percent truthful," Ellen said and looked at the first card. "Okay, first question. Never Have I Ever sexted."
The guests think and held up their paddles. Martha, Snoop Dogg, and Beca all hold upI Have. Ellen is the only one who held upI Have Never.
The audience laughed, and Beca looked down the row and sees that Martha Stewart hadI Havefacing the audience. Beca laughed almost hysterically and said, "I'm so glad I'm here today."
"Wow!" Ellen said and looked at Martha.
Martha sat there smiling at Ellen. "Martha! You've sexted before? Do you know what that is?"
Martha gives her a "Duh" look. "I have used technology a lot more than you will ever know."
Snoop Dogg laughed, and Ellen said, "Wow! Alright. Yow!" Ellen then looks at Martha again. "Is it with someone current, or is this a while ago?"
"It doesn't say none of your business," Martha said as she looked at her paddle.
Beca lets out another laugh, and the audience applauds.
Beca fans herself with her paddle and lets out a "whoo" as the show goes to another commercial.
"I wonder who Beca sexted?" Stacie asked. "She hasn't mentioned it before."
No one said anything, although they were all wondering the same thing.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
"Next question," Ellen said. "Never Have I Ever been in handcuffs."
The guests almost immediately put up their paddles. Martha and Ellen hadI Have Never, while Snoop Dogg and Beca both had up I Have.
The audience laughed when everyone showed their answers. Snoop Dogg looked at Beca's paddle and smiled. Ellen looked at Beca and asked, "You have? Was it for a movie?"
"No," Beca said, looking at the audience and then down at her paddle.
"Being arrested?" Ellen asked.
"That wasn't the question," Beca said, causing laughter from the audience.
"Yeah," Snoop Dogg said. "It may have been another style of handcuffs that calls for a bed."
Beca sits up straight with a secretive smile but doesn't respond.
After a few more questions, the game concluded. Ellen thanked her guests, and Chloe turned off the tape.
"Okay," Stacie said, looking around at the Bellas. "Who is Beca seeing? Snoop Dogg made a good point about the handcuffs and the bed."
"Yeah," Amy said. "But remember, Beca did get arrested our Freshman year. She may have just been messing around. You know how she is."
"I'm with Amy," CR said. "It was probably just a joke."
"I don't know," Jessica said. "She was blushing a bit when she said it."
Chloe sat there and didn't say anything, although she could feel the heat from her blushing cheeks.
"Chloe," Stacie said.
"What?!" Chloe answered, shifting nervously.
"You're Beca's best friend," Stacie said. "Who is she seeing? We want to know who Beca is getting her kink on with."
"I don't know," Chloe said, looking down at the ground.
Stacie narrowed her eyes and looked at Chloe. "You're being cagey. You know something."
"Come on, you guys," Chloe whined. "Even if I knew anything, I couldn't tell you."
"So, she is seeing someone," Emily said excitedly. "OMG! Did she get back together with Jesse?"
"NO!" Chloe said loudly. "I mean, why would you think that?"
"Well, she's in LA," Emily said. "He's in LA. They have a history. It makes sense."
"Emily's right," Aubrey said. "Who else could it be? She's in the tabloids all the time but never with anyone. Well, except Chloe."
Chloe jumped up. "I need another drink. Anyone else want one?"
"That's because they're best friends," Emily said with a laugh. "You'd expect to see them together."
"No?" Chloe mumbled, looking around. "Okay, I'll be right back."
Chloe tried to act nonchalant as she hurried out of the room. The Bellas continued talking about who Beca could be seeing.
Chloe pulled out her phone as soon as she got into the kitchen. She pulled up Beca's name and sent her a text.
Beca texted back and told Chloe she was almost home and she'd be there in about ten minutes. Chloe let out a breath and put her phone away. She quickly made herself another drink and went back to the living room.
"I bet I'm right," Fat Amy said.
"How much do you want to bet?" CR asked.
"What are you two betting on?" Chloe asked as she sat down.
"Who we think Beca's secret boyfriend or girlfriend is," Fat Amy said. "I'm putting up fifty bucks that it's Selena Gomez."
"Really?" Chloe asked. "I read she was dating someone."
"I read that, too," Emily said. "But the article said whoever it was is a mystery."
"A mysteryman," CR said. "I don't think she's into women."
"Amy, you're always around here," Aubrey said. "You have to have seen Beca with someone."
"The only person I ever see when I'm here is Chloe," Fat Amy said.
Before anyone can say anything, they hear a key in the door. A few seconds later, Beca walked into the living room.
"Thank God," Chloe mumbled.
"What's up, losers?" Beca called out.
"Okay, Beca," Stacie said. "Spill!"
"Spill what?" Beca asked, stopping to look at Stacie.
"Who are you seeing, and why haven't you told us about it?" Fat Amy answered.
"Who said I'm seeing someone?"
"The answers you gave onEllen," Aubrey said. "So, stop avoiding it and answer the question."
"Nope," Beca said. "Sorry, but some things shall remain private even from you nerds. If I wanted you to know, I'd tell you."
"Let's playNever Have I Ever," Fat Amy said. "Let's see if there are any secrets we don't know about each other."
The Bellas smiled when they realized Amy had something up her sleeve. Something that might lead to Beca telling them who she was seeing.
"What? Why?" Beca asked.
"What's wrong, Beca?' Stacie asked with a smug smile. "Afraid you'll slip up and reveal who you're having a secret relationship with?"
Beca looked around the room at the other girls and smiled. "Fine. Let's play."
"I'll get the shots ready," Fat Amy said and went to the kitchen.
"I'll help Amy," CR said.
"Me, too," Jessica said.
CR and Jessica followed Amy while the rest of the Bellas moved around so they could see each other. Beca finally took a seat next to Chloe.
"Are you okay with this?" Beca whispered.
"I am if you are," Chloe whispered back.
"Great, I have a perfect way to tell them," Beca said. "Follow my lead."
"Okay," Chloe said and bit her lip nervously.
Fat Amy, Jessica, and CR came back in, each carrying a tray of shots. They had each girl take one before setting the trays on the table.
"I'll go first," Fat Amy said. "Never Have I Ever kept a secret boyfriend from my friends."
"You're supposed to say something you've never actually done," Stacie said. "What about you and Bumper? You always said he wasn't your boyfriend."
"But you all knew about him, so it doesn't count," Fat Amy said.
She looked around and saw that Beca had not downed her shot. "Hmm, I thought that would tell us something."
"It did," Aubrey said smugly.
"It did?" Stacie asked.
"Yes, it did," Aubrey said. "It tells us she has a secretgirlfriend."
"Oh," the Bellas say collectively.
"I guess that rules Jesse out," Emily said.
"Jesse?" Beca said, grimacing. "Really?"
Emily shrugged her shoulders. Beca shook her head and laughed.
"My turn," CR said. "Never Have I Ever hooked up with someone whose album I produced."
"Oh, come on," Beca said. "I'm the only producer here, so that shouldn't count."
"So, are you saying you have hooked up with someone whose album you produced?" Ashley asked.
"No, I am not saying that," Beca said.
"Damn," CR said.
"Let the sexpert handle this," Stacie said. She looked up to the ceiling and then smiled. "Never Have I Ever...wait, I've done that. Um, Never have I. . .um, nope, did that, too."
"Someone else go," Lily said. "We'll be here all night if we wait for Stacie to think of something she hasn't done."
The Bellas all laugh, and Beca speaks up. "I'll go."
The Bellas sit up straighter, and all eyes are on Beca, wondering what secret about herself she would reveal.
"Never Have I Ever lied about having a secret fiance," Beca said and downed her shot.
The Bellas all furrowed their brows. "What?" several of them asked.
"Beca, you're supposed to say something you've never done," Fat Amy said.
"I know," Beca said with a smile.
Chloe downed her shot, and the girls looked at her, confused.
They were all startled when Aubrey suddenly jumped up and yelled, "You two are engaged!?"
"What!?" The Bellas all ask as they looked at Beca and Chloe.
"We didn't even know you guys were dating," Stacie said.
"When did this happen?" Ashley asked.
"How did this happen?" Jessica asked.
"You didn't tell me, and I'm your best friend," Fat Amy said.
"Okay, okay," Beca said. "Give us time to answer one thing before you go on to the next."
"First," Chloe said and reached into her pocket. She pulled out a ring and started to put it on her finger.
"Wait," Beca said and took the ring; she placed it on Chloe's finger and kissed her. "I love you."
Beca then took a ring out of her pocket, and Chloe took it and put it on Beca's finger. She kissed Beca, whispering, "I love you, too."
"Okay," Beca said, turning to the Bellas. "Now to your questions. We started dating just after Chloe moved to LA. We kept it a secret because we wanted to keep it out of the press until we figured out if the relationship was going to work."
"The relationship worked really well, and Beca asked me to marry her a week ago," Chloe said as she looked at Beca. "We knew we were going to tell you all today. We just weren't sure how. Then when you guys started asking who Beca was dating, I panicked and sent Beca a text while I was in the kitchen."
"Yeah," Beca said with a laugh. "You guys gave me the perfect idea when Amy suggested we playNever Ever Have I Ever."
Beca leaned forward and kissed Chloe. "And now that you know, I can do that in front of you."
Chloe laughed and grabbed Beca behind the neck, and pulled her into a deeper kiss.
"Let's keep it PG," Fat Amy said, causing the two to break apart. "We still have a child in our midst."
Emily looked over to see Amy pointing at her. "I'm not a child, Amy."
"Will you two behave," Aubrey scolded. "There are more important things to talk about. Like, how my best friend is engaged, and I didn't even know she was dating anyone."
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you, Brey," Chloe said, looking at her best friend. "Once we knew we were all in, I kind of liked that Beca and I were the only ones who knew. And, once it got out, we'd be bombarded with paparazzi and everyone wanting to know every aspect of our lives. I liked living in that secret bubble, and I wanted to stay there for a while. But now that we're engaged, I want everyone to know."
Beca took Chloe's hand and gave her a smile. They both looked at Aubrey, waiting for her to yell at them.
"I'm happy for you guys," Aubrey said and grabbed them both in a hug, taking them both by surprise.
"Thank you, Brey," Chloe said as Aubrey pulled back from the hug. "I think it goes without saying that I want you to be my Maid of Honor."
"Of course," Aubrey said. "I'd be honored."
"Congratulations, you two," Emily squealed. "This is aca-awesome news! I'm so happy for you both."
"Go ahead, Beca," Fat Amy said. "Ask me."
"Ask you what?"
"Ask me to be your Maid of Honor," Fat Amy said.
"Um, well, I kind of already asked someone else," Beca said and looked at Chloe.
"But I'm your best friend," Fat Amy whined.
"I know, but she helped me with the proposal, and it just seemed right," Beca said. "I hope you understand."
"It was a really amazing proposal," Chloe said, kissing Beca's cheek.
"Amy? We good?"
"Yeah, we're good," Amy mumbled.
"So, who did you ask?" Emily asked.
Beca's phone pinged with a text notification. She pulled out her phone and smiled when she read the text.
"Um, you'll see in about five minutes," Beca said, sending off a quick response.
"Just tell us, Beca," Fat Amy said.
"I'm keeping it a surprise," Beca said.
Beca sat back with a smile on her face and waited. It had been only about two minutes, and Fat Amy couldn't wait any longer.
"Who's your maid of honor, Beca? You should at least tell me, after all, I am the best friend you're casting aside to let some no-name stand with you on the most important day of your life. So, just tell me."
There was a knock at the door. Beca smiled as she stood, saying, "Why tell you when I can show you."
Beca went to the door and came back with Taylor Swift carrying a gift bag.
"OH, MY STARS!" Emily squealed. "Taylor Swift is your maid of honor?"
"Yep," Chloe said, standing to hug Taylor. "Hey, Taylor."
"Hi, Chloe," Taylor said, pulling back from Chloe and looking around. "And, I guess it's safe to assume these ladies are the Bellas."
"Yes, ma'am," Stacie said. "That's us!"
The girls introduced themselves; Taylor was a bit taken aback at the glare Fat Amy gave her during the introductions.
"Oh, my god!" Aubrey exclaimed as she jumped up, startling everyone. "I have to work with Taylor Swift to organize your bachelorette parties?"
"Yeah, that's right," Taylor answered. "Can I get your number so I can have my assistant call you to set up some time so we can get started as soon as possible?"
"Sure," Aubrey said, putting her hand in front of her mouth and swallowing loudly. "Oh, my god, Taylor Swift just asked me for my number."
Chloe looked at Aubrey and noticed the look of panic on her face.
"Are you okay, Brey?"
"I have to work with Taylor Swift to organize your bachelorette parties," Aubrey murmured, retaking her seat.
"I think you guys broke her," Stacie said, chuckling as she looked at Aubrey.
"Is she going to be okay?" Taylor asked.
"She'll be fine," Beca said.
"Ahem," Fat Amy said, clearing her throat.
Beca and Taylor looked at her. Fat Amy got up and walked over to Taylor.
"You may be Beca's maid of honor," Amy said, getting in Taylor's face. "But I'm herbestfriend."
"I thought Chl-"
"No," Beca said, stopping Taylor while shaking her head as she got between Amy and Taylor. "You really do not want to open up that can of worms right now." She then turned to Amy. "Amy, be nice."
Amy put up her hands in surrender and went back to her seat.
"Okay," Taylor said. "It was nice seeing you all, but I really have to run."
"Can't you stay a little longer?" Emily asked. "Maybe we can sing together or something? Oh, my stars, wouldn't that just make this the best Christmas ever?"
"Let's singChristmas Tree Farm," Jessica called out. "I love that song."
"I agree," Fat Amy said. "You should sing with us, Taylor; you owe me for stealing the maid of honor job from Beca's best friend, who is me."
Taylor laughed and looked at Fat Amy; her smile dropped when she saw the look on Fat Amy's face. She turned to Beca, asking, "Is she serious?"
"I'm afraid so," Beca said. "Don't worry, I know just what to do."
Taylor looked over to see Fat Amy glaring at her again.
"Okay," Taylor said. "Do what you gotta do because I really do need to go."
"Hey, Ames," Beca said. "If you let Taylor go because she has to be somewhere, you can take the lead onChristmas Tree Farm. Okay?"
"You drive a hard bargain,my bestie," Fat Amy said. "I accept your terms. Miss Taylor, you are free to go."
Amy stood, waving her hand toward the door.
"Well?" Amy said, looking at Taylor.
"You'd better go while you still can, Taylor," Jessica said. "Or you may be spending Christmas here whether you want to or not."
"Oh, okay, um, thanks!" Taylor said, rushing to the door and calling out, "Merry Christmas, everyone!"
Once Taylor was gone, Fat Amy started singing and stared the girls down until they joined in. Beca grabbed Chloe's hand and dragged her to the kitchen.
"Merry Christmas, future wife," Beca said, pulling Chloe into a kiss. "I love you."
"I love you, too!"
There was a sudden, loud crash from the living room. Beca sighed and walked out of the kitchen, yelling, "Amy! What did you do?"

25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022
Day 15 - My Spy Christmas
Summary: This is set 2 years after the end of my fic "My Spy."
Beca has been trying to get pregnant again, but two attempts have failed so far. She and Chloe agreed to try one more time; if that one fails, Chloe will try. Her Uncle Matt asks Chloe to help with "one last" case before he retires. Will Chloe agree to help, possibly derailing her and Beca's pregnancy dreams?
Two weeks before Christmas, two-year-old Billy Beale sat on the sofa watching his mama, Chloe, pace back and forth while talking on the phone with her Uncle Matt. Matt had just asked Chloe about helping him with one last case before he retired from the FBI.
"I'll have to talk to Beca about this, Uncle Matt," Chloe said. "Because if I do this, we'll have to find someone to take care of Billy while I'm gone."
"It will only be a couple of days," Matt said. "No more than a week tops."
Chloe heard Beca's car pull into the garage.
"I have to go," Chloe said. "Beca's home. I'll call you later."
Chloe ended the call. She picked up Billy and settled him on her hip.
"Mommy's home, Billy," Chloe said as they went to greet Beca.
"Yay, mommy home," Billy said, clapping.
"Hey," Beca said, kissing Chloe and Billy as she came in.
"How was your day?" Chloe asked.
"Tiring," Beca said, taking Billy from Chloe. "I just want to relax and cuddle with my two favorite people."
Beca hugged Billy and kissed his cheek.
"I haven't started anything for dinner yet," Chloe said. "Want me to order something? We can start the cuddling sooner."
"I love that idea," Beca said. "What are you in the mood to eat, Billy?"
"Peeza," Billy said, giggling and clapping.
"Pizza it is," Chloe said, smiling. "I'll call it in. Why don't you take Billy into the living room, and I'll be right in?"
"Okay," Beca said, leaving Chloe in the kitchen. "Want to watch Trolls, B-man?"
"Yes," Billy said, nodding his head.
"Let's do it," Beca said, sitting Billy on the sofa.
"Twolls, twolls, twolls," Billy chanted as Beca scrolled to find it.
"Give me a minute," Beca said, laughing.
"Pizza will be here in about forty minutes," Chloe said as she joined Beca and Billy on the sofa.
"Peeza, yay!"
"So, how was your day?" Beca asked Chloe as the movie began.
"Interesting," Chloe said.
"How so?" Beca asked.
"Uncle Matt called," Chloe said.
"Shhh, mama," Billy said. "Hear Poppy."
"Sorry, Billy," Chloe said, turning to Beca. "I'll tell you about the call later."
"Okay," Beca said. "I need to tell you something, too."
"Shhh!"
Beca smiled at Billy and chuckled softly. "Sorry, Mr. Bossy Pants."
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
After dinner and another movie, Chloe bathed Billy and put him to bed.
"He's out," Chloe said as she joined Beca on the sofa.
"M'kay," Beca said, covering a yawn. "So, what did Uncle Matt call about?"
Chloe chewed her lip as Beca yawned again.
"You're tired," Chloe said. "Why don't you go to bed? We can talk about it tomorrow."
"Are you sure?" Beca asked as she stood and stretched.
"I'm sure," Chloe said.
"You're the best," Beca said, leaning down to kiss Chloe. "I think I may take a quick bath before I go to bed."
"Okay," Chloe said. "I'm going to clean up a bit and will be up shortly. I love you."
"Love you, too," Beca mumbled as she made her way to the stairs.
The following day, Chloe was up early. She found herself pacing back and forth in the kitchen while waiting for the coffee to brew.
"How do I tell Beca I will be gone for a week right before Christmas?" Chloe thought as she paced. "I quit the FBI because it was dangerous, and we're trying to have another baby. But this case goes back to the drug smuggling case I worked on while at Barden. It would be exciting to be back in the field and help shut down a large smuggling operation for good."
"You're up early," Beca said, causing Chloe to yelp in surprise.
"You scared me," Chloe said, holding a hand to her chest. "What are you doing up? I thought you were off today."
"I have an appointment this morning," Beca said. "Then I'm off the rest of the day."
"Do you have a few minutes to talk before you leave for your appointment?"
"Sure," Beca said. "Is everything okay?"
"My Uncle Matt is planning to retire at the end of the year," Chloe said. "And he asked me to help on his last case."
Beca crossed her arms over her chest and took a deep breath as if to say something, but Chloe spoke first.
"I know what you're going to say," Chloe said, raising a hand to stop Beca from saying anything. "And you're right. I quit teaching to be a stay-at-home mom, so if I do this, we'd have to find someone to take care of Billy while I'm gone. But I feel like I need to help so the FBI can bring closure to everything and possibly shut down the Barden smuggling operation permanently."
"So, this is about Barden," Beca mumbled. "Let me ask you this, do you miss being in the FBI?"
"I'm not going to lie, I kind of miss the excitement that came with the job."
"Are you sorry you quit?"
"No," Chloe said quickly. "I love what we have together. You and Billy are my world."
"Do you still want us to have another baby?"
"Of course, I still want that. I just thought maybe we could put that on hold for a little while. Not for long, just until after the holidays."
"What about Christmas? Will you be home for it?"
"I think so. Uncle Matt said I'd only be needed for a couple of days. A week at most."
Beca pursed her lips and crossed her arms over her chest; she rubbed a hand up and down her arm.
"I'm not going to tell you to turn down the job, Chloe," Beca said.
"But you won't be happy if I take the job," Chloe stated.
Beca walked over to Chloe and put her arms around Chloe's neck, and kissed her.
"I love you," Beca said. "And I can tell you want to do it. Billy and I will manage no matter what you decide. We're not going anywhere."
"So, are you saying that you're okay with me telling Uncle Matt that I'll help him?" Chloe asked.
"If that's what you want," Beca said. "Just promise me one thing."
"Anything," Chloe said.
"Promise me you'll keep your head down and do everything in your power to come back to me, to us," Beca said. "I can't bear to think about what might happen to Billy and me if you don't make it back. We love you."
"I love you, guys, too," Chloe said, hugging Beca tightly. "And I promise you, I will be careful."
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
"Thank you, doctor," Beca said as she left the doctor's office.
Beca sighed as she made her way to the car and got in. She looked out the window and sighed while running a hand through her hair.
"Now, what do I do?" she muttered to the empty car.
After a moment, she pulled out her phone and looked at it. She finally found the contact she wanted and pressed call.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Aubrey, it's Beca. Do you have a minute to talk?"
"Sure," Aubrey said. "What's going on? Is Billy okay? Is Chloe okay?"
"They're both fine," Beca said.
"What about you?" Aubrey asked. "How are you?"
"How am I? That's the million-dollar question."
"Are you okay?"
"I, um, I just found out that I'm pregnant."
"Congratulations!" Aubrey said, sounding relieved. "That's wonderful news. I bet Chloe and Billy are excited."
"Um, Chloe doesn't know yet," Beca said. "When I said I just found out, I meant that literally. I'm sitting in the parking garage by my doctor's office right now."
Beca then proceeded to tell Aubrey about Matt asking Chloe to work with the FBI again. She also told Aubrey about the conversation she and Chloe had that morning.
"So, I'm wondering if I should tell Chloe now that I'm pregnant or wait until she is done with the assignment," Beca said.
"Do you think she'll decline the job if you tell her now?" Aubrey asked.
"I, uh, I really don't know," Beca said.
Beca quieted for a moment and stared at nothing through the windshield. Aubrey waited patiently, knowing Beca had more to say.
"God, Aubrey. You should have seen the way her eyes lit up talking about it," Beca said. "I can't take that away from her."
"Maybe you should tell her anyway and let her decide," Aubrey said.
Beca scoffed but didn't say anything.
"Okay, try this," Aubrey said. "Imagine her reaction to finding out you knew you were pregnant before she left."
Beca thought about it and sighed.
"She'd be upset with me," Beca stated.
"Right," Aubrey said. "And how would you feel if something happened to Chloe without her knowing about the baby?"
"I'd beat myself up about it," Beca said.
"Right again," Aubrey said. "So, which scene would you want to actually have play out?"
"Why do you have to have to be so damned reasonable all the time?" Beca laughed.
"If you wanted someone to tell you what you wanted to hear," Aubrey said. "You wouldn't have called me."
"You're right," Beca chuckled. "Thanks, Aubrey."
"Anytime, Beca," Aubrey said. "And congratulations on the baby."
"Thanks," Beca said and ended the call.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
After parking the car in their garage, Beca sat, thinking about what she was going to say to Chloe. She stayed where she was until she saw Chloe standing in the doorway, holding Billy and staring at her.
Beca got out of the car and walked over to Chloe.
"Are you okay?" Chloe asked. "You've been out here for a while."
"I was thinking," Beca said.
"Come inside and tell me what you were thinking about," Chloe said, moving aside to allow Beca to enter.
"Do you want to sit in here or go into the living room?" Chloe asked.
"Here's fine," Beca said, taking a seat at the counter.
Chloe put Billy in his booster seat and asked, "Want a snack, sweetie?"
"Billy shook his head, so Chloe placed a toy car in front of him.
"So, how did your appointment go?" Chloe asked.
"It was good," Beca said. "Did you talk to Uncle Matt yet?"
"Not yet," Chloe said. "I was waiting until you got back. What you tell me next will determine what I tell him. All I need to know is, are you pregnant?"
Beca's head snapped up to look at Chloe.
"How did you know?"
"I didn't," Chloe said. "But when you said you had an appointment this morning, I guessed it was to get tested. So, are you?"
"Yes, I'm pregnant," Beca said.
Chloe jumped up and pulled Beca into a hug. "I'm so excited. This is amazing news I'm going to call Uncle Matt right now."
Chloe turned to go; Beca grabbed her arm, stopping her.
"Wait," Beca said. "What are you going to tell him?"
"That something more important came up, and I won't be available to help," Chloe said, smiling at Beca.
"But, I thought you were looking forward to helping him," Beca said.
"I was," Chloe said. "But, it's just a job. You're more important, and I want to be here with you and Billy. I know we should wait until you're through the first trimester, but can I tell him and Aunt Peggy about the baby?"
"Sure. I mean, Aubrey knows," Beca confessed. "I had a moment and called her for advice."
"Advice for what?"
"On whether I should tell you I was pregnant before you left," Beca said. "Or wait until you got back to tell you."
"I'm glad you told me now," Chloe said. "I would have been very upset with you if you hadn't."
"I know," Beca said, smiling. "That's why I'm telling you now. Although I wasn't expecting you to choose to turn down the job with your Uncle Matt so quickly."
"Did you really think I'd choose to leave over staying with you?" Chloe asked. "That makes me sad."
"I'm sorry," Beca said, pulling Chloe to her. "I saw how happy you were about working with the FBI again, and I didn't want to take that away from you."
"Boy, we're quite the pair, aren't we?" Chloe said, chuckling. "You want to do everything in your power to make sure I'm happy, and I want to do everything in my power to make sure you're happy."
Chloe kissed Beca before adding, "For the record, my staying home with you and Billy will make me very happy."
"Me, too," Beca said, pulling Chloe in for another kiss.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
Christmas morning found Beca and Chloe cuddled together, talking about when to tell the Bellas of Beca's pregnancy.
"Mama?" Billy's voice came through the monitor.
Beca and Chloe got up and went to Billy's room.
"Santa come?" Billy asked as Chloe lifted him from his crib.
"Yes, sweetie," Chloe said. "Santa came."
"Can you take care of him and bring him down after you change him?" Beca said. "I'll get the coffee started."
"Okay," Chloe said.
Beca kissed Chloe and left the room.
A few minutes later, Chloe held Billy's hand as they went down the steps. Billy stopped and gawked at the tree and all the presents. Beca came in carrying coffee for her and Chloe and a sippy cup for Billy.
Beca and Chloe sat on the floor with Billy as he grabbed a gift to open.
"Mommy, open?" Billy said, holding the present.
"Come here," Beca said, sitting Billy in front of her.
Beca tore a small piece of wrapping paper and placed Billy's hand on it. Billy ripped it off.
"Mine?" Billy asked when he saw the truck.
"Yes, it's yours," Beca said, chuckling.
"Yay," Billy squealed.
Chloe sat watching with a content smile on her face. She sighed, and Beca looked up to see Chloe looking at her.
"What?" Beca said.
"I was just thinking," Chloe said.
"About?" Beca asked as Billy handed her another gift to help open.
"About this," Chloe said, waving her hand around them. "And how this is all the excitement I need in my life."
Beca crawled over to Chloe and kissed her. Chloe set her cup down and took Beca's face in her hands, and deepened the kiss.
"I love you," Beca said when the kiss ended.
"I love you, too," Chloe said. "Merry Christmas!"

25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022
Day 14 - The Christmas Fix-Up
Prompt from FanFiction User Lexi (Guest): Can you please do one where Beca and Chloe are best friends in elementary-middle school, and years later, they reunite at both their best friends' (Stacie and Aubrey) Christmas party?
Beca Mitchell met her best friend, Stacie Conrad, for lunch. Beca had barely sat down when Stacie brought up the Christmas Eve party she and her girlfriend were having.
"Come on, Beca," Stacie begged. "You have to come. Brey's got a friend she wants you to meet. She thinks you two would be perfect for each other."
"I don't know, Stacie," Beca said. "You know I hate blind dates. Especially blind dates at parties."
"It's a month away," Stacie said. "Just promise me you'll think about it."
"Fine," Beca said. "I promise I'll think about it."
"Good," Stacie said. "I'll let Brey know you'll be there."
"What? No, that's not what I said," Beca said.
"Give it up, Beca," Stacie said, smirking. "You and I both know you'll be there."
"You think you know me, but you don't," Beca said, looking at her menu.
"I do know you, Beca," Stacie said. "I know that you'll say yes because you really want to see what kind of girl Aubrey thinks is your type. I've met her, and believe me, she is definitely someone you would go for."
Beca hated the smug smile on Stacie's face and just looked at Stacie without saying anything. Stacie raised an eyebrow and continued to stare at Beca.
"Fine," Beca said, finally giving in. "I'll be there. Just let me know if there is anything you guys want me to bring."
"Brey's doing all the organizing," Stacie said. "I'll let you know what she says."
"Okay," Beca said, looking around. "Where's our waitress? I'm starving."
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
Three weeks later, Stacie walks into Beca's office and sits across from Beca.
"Is there something I can do for you, Conrad?"
"Brey wants to know if you would mind bringing some wine to the party."
"I can do that," Beca said. "Should I bring red or white?"
"How about both?" Stacie asked.
"Okay," Beca said. "Is that it?"
"Aubry and I are excited about you meeting her friend," Stacie sing-songed.
"Oh, right, Aubrey's friend," Beca sighed. "Tell me something about her."
"I can't," Stacie said. "I promised Brey I wouldn't tell you anything about her. You'll just have to come to the party and see her for yourself."
"Did Aubrey tell her anything about me?" Beca asked.
"No," Stacie replied. "She wants you two to meet without any preconceived notions about the other."
"Come on, Stacie," Beca whined. "You're supposed to be my best friend. Just tell me something about her."
"I am your best friend, and I love you," Stacie said. "But I love my girlfriend more, and if she says not to tell you anything about this girl, I'm not telling you anything about this girl."
"Whipped," Beca said, chuckling.
"That may be, but at least I'm getting laid on the regular," Stacie said smugly.
"Okay, we're done here," Beca said, turning to her computer. "I don't want to hear about your sex life or delve into the absence of mine."
"I'm sorry, Beca," Stacie said. "But I promised Aubrey I wouldn't tell you anything."
"I get it," Beca said. "But it's not like you've never broken a promise before."
"Want to grab lunch?" Stacie asked, changing the subject. "My treat."
"Can we go to Antionio's?" Beca asked, side-eying Stacie.
"Sure," Stacie said, smiling.
"Let's go then," Beca said, standing. "I'm starving."
"You're always starving," Stacie said as they made their way out of Beca's office.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
It was Christmas Eve, and Beca was putting the finishing touches on her makeup. She checked herself one last time in the mirror.
"I guess I'm ready," Beca said.
She sighed and grabbed her purse, throwing in her phone and wallet. She picked up the bag of gifts and the wine and left her apartment.
Beca entered Stacie's house behind a small group and looked around. There were a lot of people, and Beca had to zig-zag her way over to leave her gifts under the tree. She didn't know where to put the wine, so she looked around for Stacie.
"Beca!" Stacie yelled, hugging her. "You finally made it."
"Here's the wine," Beca said, handing the bag to Stacie. "I didn't know where to put it."
"Come with me," Stacie said. "We'll get you a drink and then find Brey."
Beca followed Stacie through the crowd to the kitchen. Beca poured herself a drink.
"Let's find Brey so you can meet your date," Stacie said.
As they left the kitchen, Beca was surprised as it seemed the crowd had grown.
"Oh, there's Brey," Stacie said, pointing her out through an opening that appeared in the crowd.
Beca's eyes widened, and her lips broke into a smile when she saw the woman standing next to Aubrey.
"She's my date?" Beca asked, pointing to the woman.
"Yep," Stacie said, smiling at Beca's reaction. "Chloe?"
Hearing her name, the woman turned to see who had said it. Her mouth dropped open, and her eyes grew wide in surprise.
"Beca!" Chloe squealed and rushed over, pulling Beca into a hug. "I can't believe it's you!"
"I can't believe it's you!" Beca said, pulling back from the hug. "How do you know Aubrey?"
"We met in a yoga class, and we hit it off," Chloe said, wrapping her hand around Beca's arm. "We got to talking, and she invited me to the party and said there was someone I just had to meet. I had no idea that someone was you."
"What Chloe failed to mention is that she did nothing but talk about her best friend from when she was a kid," Aubrey said, joining them. "When she said your name, I just knew we had to bring you two together. I told Stacie, and we concocted a plan to have you reunite here at the party."
"This is amazing," Beca said. "How long has it been?"
"Gosh, like twelve years," Chloe said.
"You look amazing," Beca said. "Although, I always thought you looked amazing. I know you're not going to believe this, but I had a huge crush on you back then."
"I had a huge crush on you, too," Chloe said. "By the time I realized I liked you, you had moved. I always wondered what happened to you."
"My parents divorced, and my mom and I moved to Seattle to live with my grandmother," Beca said. "I never forgot you and think about you all the time."
"Do you want to maybe exchange numbers?" Chloe asked. "I'd love to get together in a quieter setting and catch up."
"I'd like that," Beca said, retrieving her phone from her purse. "Here, put your number in, and I'll call you."
Chloe set down her drink and took Beca's phone. After adding herself to Beca's contacts list, she handed the phone back.
"I'm gonna get a fresh drink," Chloe said. "Would you like something?"
"I'll go with you if that's okay," Beca said.
Chloe took Beca's hand and headed to the kitchen.
"They are so going to get married," Stacie said as she and Aubrey smiled and clinked their glasses together.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
A year later, Chloe and Beca were getting ready for Stacie and Aubrey's Christmas Eve party.
"I love that dress on you," Beca said, wrapping her arms around Chloe from behind.
"You say that about everything I wear," Chloe said.
"Well, then it must be true," Beca said, kissing Chloe's shoulder before pulling away. "Do you think Aubrey would kill us if we decided to stay home?"
"Oh, she definitely would," Chloe said, laughing as she put on her earrings. "Especially when Stacie proposes, and we're not there to see it."
"I almost forgot about that," Beca said. "Do you think that will be us getting engaged in a few years?"
"I hope it's sooner than that," Chloe said, chuckling.
Chloe gasped when she turned and found Beca down on one knee.
"Is now soon enough?" Beca asked, holding up a ring box.
"Oh, my gosh," Chloe said as she stared at Beca.
"Well?" Beca said, raising the ring higher. "What do you say?"
"You haven't asked me yet," Chloe said, grinning.
"Chloe Beale, will you marry me?"
"Um, can I think about it and get back to you?" Chloe said, smirking.
"The offer expires in exactly ten seconds," Beca said, standing to face Chloe. "10. 9. 8. 7. 6-"
"Yes! Yes, I'll marry you," Chloe said, laughing as she leaned in to kiss Beca.
Beca wrapped her arms around Chloe's waist as Chloe put her arms around Beca's shoulders.
"I love you," Beca said as the kiss ended.
"I love you, too," Chloe said. "Oh, Brey is going to be so pissed when she finds out we got engaged before she did."
"You've seen the ring Stacie got her," Beca said. "She'll get over it."
"Merry Christmas to us," Chloe said, laughing as she pulled Beca into another kiss.
A/N: My apologies that it's so short, but posting a fic a day doesn't leave much time to flesh out some stories. I do hope you like what I did with it.

25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022
Day 13 - Santa Baby
Prompt from FanFiction User RJRMovieFan: I would love a sequel about Beca Noelle Claus and her wife, Chloe Claus (Chapter 6, "The Mrs. Clause" from 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases-2021). Chloe wants to have kids, so she and Beca go to a fertility clinic in "Barden, GA."
Note: I'm asking you to suspend your belief and just accept that getting pregnant at a fertility clinic is quick and easy.
"So, we're really doing this?" Beca asked Chloe as she helped the elves ready the smaller sleigh for their trip.
"We've talked about it enough," Chloe said. "Now it's time to do something about it, dontcha think?"
"You're right, dear," Beca said.
"Of course I am," Chloe said, kissing Beca on the cheek.
"Okay, guys, make sure you set the GPS coordinates to Barden, Georgia, USA."
"We know, Santa," Elf Randy said. "It's not our first rodeo."
Beca glared at him. "You know there are a lot of elves who would love to have your job."
"Santa, leave Elf Randy alone," Chloe said. "He and the other elves have been getting you where you need to be for a while. And they haven't sent you to the wrong place yet, have they?"
"No, dear," Beca said.
"Now apologize to Elf Randy," Chloe said.
"But, he-"
"Apologize. And, make it sincere."
"Yes, dear," Beca said. Clearing her throat, she said, "Elf Randy, I sincerely apologize for questioning your abilities to set the correct GPS coordinates."
Elf Randy stood looking at Santa Beca.
"Elf Randy," Chloe said, getting the elf's attention. "Tell Santa thank you and that you accept her apology."
"Yes, Mrs. Clause," Elf Randy said and cleared his throat. "Thank you, Santa. I accept your apology."
"Good," Chloe said, smiling at everyone. "Let's go. We do have an appointment to keep."
Beca helped Chloe into the sleigh as the elves finished the takeoff preparations.
"This is it," Beca said.
"Let's go!" Chloe said excitedly.
"On Snowcone," Beca called out, snapping the reins.
Snowcone snorted and started running; soon, the sleigh was airborne.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases ~~
"I can't believe we're almost there," Chloe said, her excitement palpable.
"Engaging the invisibility shield," Beca said as she flipped the switch. "Now, we just need to find a place to land. Oh, there!" Beca pointed out a clear space and guided Snowcone toward it.
The landing was a bit bumpy, and Beca and Chloe were jostled. They exited the sleigh, and Beca made sure the coast was clear before stepping away.
"That was a bit rough, Snowcone," Beca said. "We'll practice your landings when we get back to the North Pole."
Snowcone snorted, lowered his head, and pawed the ground.
"Don't get sassy with me," Beca said.
"Beca," Chloe said, putting a hand on her arm. "We have to check into our hotel and go to the clinic. If we don't leave now, we're going to be late for our appointment at the clinic."
"Oh, right," Beca said, grabbing their suitcase from the sleigh.
Beca took Chloe's hand and pulled out her phone to see where they had to go. "It's this way."
After checking in, Beca called an Uber to take them to the clinic. A short while later, Beca and Chloe made it to the fertility clinic. Once inside, they were greeted by a buxom brunette.
"Welcome to the Barden Family Fertility Clinic, may I help you?" the brunette said.
"Yes, thank you, Stacie," Beca said. "We have an appointment."
"How do you know my name?" Stacie asked, furrowing her brows.
"Um," Beca mumbled, looking at Chloe.
"She read your name tag," Chloe said, pointing at Stacie's chest.
"Oh, yeah," Stacie said. "Of course. May I have your names please?"
"Beca and Chloe Mitchell," Beca said.
Stacie looked them up on her computer.
"Ah, here you are," Stacie said. "You'll both be seeing Dr. Posen. She has a ninety-five percent success rate. Have a seat and we'll call you back shortly."
"Thank you, Stacie," Chloe said, taking Beca's hand.
Chloe led Beca to a seat and sat down. Beca was chuckling.
"What's so funny?"
"Oh, it's nothing." Beca said, looking around before whispering, "It's just Stacie is on both the naughty and nice list. That doesn't happen very often."
"Hmmm," Chloe said, nervously bouncing her leg up and down.
"Are you okay?" Beca asked.
"Yeah," Chloe said. "I'm just nervous. We're about to find out if we can have a baby, Beca. That's huge."
Beca smiled and kissed Chloe. "I love you. You are going to be the best mom."
"Thank you," Chloe said. "I love you, too."
"Beca and Chloe Mitchell," Stacie called out. "Dr. Posen will see you now. Follow me, please."
Beca and Chloe got up and followed Stacie.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases ~~
Beca and Chloe were both examined and given clean bills of health. They were sitting in Dr. Posen's office to discuss the next steps.
"So, which of you wants to be the carrier?" Dr. Posen asked.
"I do," Chloe said, raising her hand.
Beca smiled at Chloe but spoke to Dr. Posen. "We'd like to use my eggs if possible."
"We can do that," Dr. Posen said. "Since your wife will be the one carrying the child, we can start today on the Reciprocal IVF Process."
"What does that entail?" Beca asked.
"It's a basic four-step process," Dr. Posen said. "First, we will give you both medication to synchronize your menstrual cycles."
"We've lived together for quite some time," Chloe said, chuckling. "We're already in sync with each other."
"Oh, really?" Dr. Posen said. "Well, that's good. So we can move on to the next step and retrieve eggs from Beca and fertilize them. Then we wait a couple of days to transfer the fertilized eggs into Chloe. Do you have a donor in mind?"
"Not yet," Chloe said. "We want to use an anonymous donor."
"Great," Dr. Posen said, standing. "Let's have you take a look at our donors so you can pick one."
Dr. Posen showed Beca and Chloe into a room with shelves of binders.
"What are you looking for in a donor?" Dr. Posen asked.
"We'd like someone with the same color hair and eyes as Beca," Chloe said.
"Okay," Dr. Posen said as she went to a shelf and pulled out a binder. "This binder has brunette men with blue eyes. Take a look through here and see if anyone catches your attention."
Dr. Posen set the binder on the table, and Chloe pulled it to her.
"Once you've made a selection, press the button next to the door," Dr. Posen said. "A light will come on, so we know you're ready."
"Thank you, doctor," Beca said.
Dr. Posen left the couple alone; Chloe opened the binder and started looking through it.
"Oh, I like this one," Chloe said, pointing at the man's photo. "He has brown hair and dark blue eyes like you. Ooo, and he's a doctor."
Beca looked at the photo and nodded. "I like him, too."
"Okay," Chloe said, continuing to look through the binder. She went back to the first photo they liked and asked, "I like him the best. What do you say? Have we decided on this one?"
"Yeah," Beca said. "I'll press the button to let them know we've made a decision."
Dr. Posen entered the room, and the couple informed Dr. Posen of their selection.
"Okay," Dr. Posen said. "Beca, if you come with me, we can retrieve your eggs. Chloe, you can go back with her if you want."
"I want you with me," Beca said.
"Okay," Chloe said.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases ~~
A few days later, they went back to the clinic, and Beca's fertilized eggs were transferred to Chloe. Once Dr. Posen finished the procedure, she took off her latex gloves and threw them in the trash. She turned to look at Chloe.
"You can take a home pregnancy test in two weeks to see if it took," Dr. Posen said. "If it's positive, take another one. If that one's positive, call and make an appointment with us to do a blood test to confirm you're pregnant."
"Okay," Chloe said.
Beca took Chloe back to their hotel and went back out on her own. She came back with dinner and five pregnancy tests to take home with them.
"I want to make sure we are prepared," Beca said when Chloe saw all the tests.
The next day, Beca and Chloe returned to the North Pole with as much fanfare as if Santa was returning on Christmas Day.
"How did it go," Beca's mother asked as soon as they got out of the sleigh.
"Well, I got Beca's eggs transferred into me," Chloe said. "And we should know in two weeks if it took."
"This is so exciting," Mrs. Claus said, hugging Chloe.
Beca smiled as she joined her mother and Chloe, hugging them both.
The next two weeks seemed to take forever to get here.
"Today's the day," Chloe said and took the pregnancy test into the bathroom with her.
Beca, Mrs. Claus, and Elf Polly paced outside the bathroom door, narrowly avoiding running into each other.
"Beca?" Chloe called from inside the bathroom.
"Yeah, Chlo?" Beca called back through the door.
"I can hear you guys pacing out there," Chloe said. "Go find something to do, and I'll let you know when I'm done."
Beca turned to her mother and Polly, shooing them with her hands. "You heard her, go find something to do."
"I'll make breakfast," Polly said.
"I'll help," Mrs. Claus said.
The two walked away, and Beca put her ear to the bathroom door.
"I meant you, too, Beca," Chloe called out.
"Sorry," Beca said and went to the kitchen to wait with her mother and Polly.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases ~~
"Congratulations," Dr. Posen said. "You are indeed pregnant."
Beca and Chloe squealed and looked at each other.
"This is wonderful news," Beca said, teary-eyed. "When are we due?"
"If my calculations are correct," Dr. Posen said. "You'll be having a Christmas baby."
"Seriously?" Beca asked, wide-eyed.
"Seriously," Dr. Posen said, chuckling.
"Thank you, Dr. Posen," Chloe said. "This will be the most amazing Christmas gift ever."
"You're welcome," Dr. Posen said. "See Stacie before you leave so she can schedule your next appointment. I will want to see you in three months."
"Okay," Chloe said. "Thanks again."
Beca and Chloe made their appointment and went back to their hotel.
"I'm going to call my mom," Beca said.
"Can we just fly back home instead?" Chloe asked. "I want to tell her in person."
"We can do that," Beca said, kissing Chloe. "Why don't you pack while I go check us out."
"Okay," Chloe said.
A short time later, they were in the sleigh and on their way to the North Pole.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases ~~
Three months later, Santa's village was abuzz with excitement as Beca and Chloe prepared for their trip to Barden for Chloe's first checkup since finding out she was pregnant.
"Are you going to find out the sex of the baby?" Mrs. Claus asked as they were getting in the sleigh.
"We were going to talk about it during the flight," Beca said. "I think I want to be surprised and not know until the baby is born."
"I feel the same way," Chloe said, smiling as she kissed Beca's cheek.
"I guess we're going to wait and see," Beca said.
"Good luck, " Mrs. Claus said, stepping back from the sleigh.
"See you in a couple of days," Beca said as they started off.
Later that afternoon, Chloe was lying on the table with Beca holding her hand. Dr. Posen was moving the wand over Chloe's stomach.
"Everything looks good," Dr. Posen said. "Do you want to know the sex?"
"No," Chloe said,
"Yes," Beca said.
They looked at each other.
"I thought you wanted to be surprised," Chloe said.
"I did," Beca said. "But I thought about it on the way here, and I changed my mind. I like the idea of calling him or her by name, so we can stop referring to him or her as it."
Chloe chewed her lip for a moment and then looked at Dr. Posen.
"We'd like to know," Chloe said.
Dr. Posen smiled. "You're having a girl."
"Yes!" Beca cheered.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases ~~
The first thing Beca did once they were back at the North Pole was to tell her mother they were having a girl.
"We're naming her Kristine, with a K," Beca said. "So, she'll be Kris Kringle like dad."
Tears came to Mrs. Claus's eyes. "That's wonderful. He would be so excited to know the Kringle legacy will live on."
Beca was saddened for a moment thinking about her father, but one smile from Chloe brought her back to a euphoric state.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases ~~
Months passed, and all was well with Chloe's pregnancy. It was December 1st, and Santa's workshop went into high gear, getting ready for Christmas.
Two weeks before Christmas, Chloe had another appointment with Dr. Posen for a routine checkup. Beca was too busy to go, so Mrs. Claus and Polly accompanied Chloe.
When they returned, Beca was pleased to learn that everything was going well and that Dr. Posen expected Chloe to deliver on time.
Christmas Eve was here, and Chloe was at the sleigh to see Beca off.
"Don't have Kris until I get back," Beca said, pulling Chloe to her.
"I'll try not to," Chloe said, kissing Beca. "Have a good night! I'll see you in the morning."
"I love you," Beca said, pecking Chloe's lips one last time before getting into the sleigh.
"I love you, too," Chloe said as the reindeer readied themselves.
Beca called out the reindeer names and snapped the reins. Chloe and the elves waved as Beca took off.
Chloe sighed and grabbed her side.
"Chloe, dear, are you alright?" Mrs. Clause asked.
"Um, yeah," Chloe said. "I think I'm in labor."
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases ~~
Beca watched as the last batch of gifts magically made their way down the final chimney.
"That's it, guys," Beca called to the reindeer. "Let's go home."
The reindeer glided through the night and were soon landing in Santa's village. Beca looked around to see only a handful of elves to help secure the reindeer and put the sleigh away.
"Where is everyone?" Beca asked one of the elves.
The elf ignored Beca and quickly began unhitching the reindeer. Beca huffed and stomped off to her house.
The elves snickered as she left. "I wish I could see Santa's face when she finds out."
Beca's eyebrows were furrowed when she saw most of the villagers outside her house.
"What's going on?" Beca asked as she made her way through the crowd.
"Get in here, Santa," Beca's mother called from the front door, motioning for her to hurry.
"Did something happen to Chloe?" Beca asked as she hurriedly entered the house.
Just then, Beca heard a baby's cry and her eyes widened as she ran toward the bedroom she shared with Chloe. She burst through the door to see Chloe lying in bed with Kris in her arms.
"Welcome home, mama!" Chloe said.

25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022
Day 12 - Chloe's Culinary School of Cookie Baking
Baking cookies with your kids sounds easy enough, right? But it is sooooo not. I hope you enjoy this little slice of BeChloe family fluff. Based loosely off a prompt from FanFiction User nweeks3 where Beca and Chloe bake cookies with their 6-year-old children.
Chloe was in the kitchen putting together her grocery list when her six-year-old son, Dylan, came in. He sat at the counter and sighed heavily.
"Did you want something, Dyl?" Chloe asked.
"Mommy, I'm bored," 6-year-old Dylan Mitchell whined.
Chloe laughed. "It's only the first day of Christmas break," she said. "How can you be bored already?"
"I dunno," Dylan said with shrug. "Just am."
"Why don't you go play with your sister?" Chloe suggested.
"She's playing with her dolls," Dylan said. "I don't like playing dolls with her, she always makes me change their diapers."
Chloe bit her lip to keep from laughing.
"I know what we can do," Chloe said.
"What?" Dylan asked.
"I can teach you how to make cookies."
"Teach me? Like in school?"
"Yes, teach you like in school," Chloe responded. "Teaching is how you learn. So, do you want to learn how to make cookies?"
"What kind of cookies?"
"Whatever kind you want."
"I want the kind with M&Ms, but only the red ones," Dylan said. "I only like the red ones."
"I don't think they sell the red M&Ms without the other colors," Chloe said. "Why don't we make chocolate chip cookies? You like those."
"I don't want chocolate chip cookies," Dylan said, flopping his torso on the counter.
"I don't know what else to tell you, Dylan," Chloe said. "I have to finish making the list for the grocery store. Go find something to do because you're in my way."
"Fiiiinnnnneee," Dylan said and stomped out of the kitchen.
Chloe shook her head and went back to her list.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases ~~
"Hey, babe," Beca said as she entered the kitchen from the garage. "How was your day?"
"We need to find something for the kids to do during their Christmas break," Chloe said, kissing Beca. "Or I'm going to need to reserve a room in the insane asylum."
"What happened?" Beca asked, chuckling.
"Dylan was bored, and nothing I suggested was good enough for him."
"What did you suggest?"
"My first suggestion was for him to play with Sophie."
"And he didn't like that idea?"
"No, because Sophie was playing with dolls, and she always makes him change their diapers."
Beca giggled. "I don't blame him for not wanting to do that. I'm just glad our little monsters are done with that."
"Stop calling our children little-"
"Mommmmmyyyyyy!" Dylan yelled from the living room.
"-monsters," Chloe said.
She sighed; Beca looked at her, smirking.
"Okay, he has been a little monster today," Chloe said and went to see what Dylan wanted.
"What do you want, Dyl?" Chloe asked.
"When will mama be home?"
"She's home," Chloe said. "She's in the kitchen."
"Yay!" Dylan screamed and ran into the kitchen. "Mama, can we order pizza for dinner?"
"I think that's-" Beca saw Chloe shaking her head. "Not going to happen. I'm sure mommy already has something planned for dinner."
"What?" Dylan asked.
"Baked chicken and roasted vegetables," Chloe responded.
"Again? We always have chicken and vegetables," Dylan whined. "I want pizza!
Chloe made a move toward Dylan; Beca grabbed her around the waist to hold her back.
"Go play, Dyl," Beca said. "We'll call you when dinner is ready."
Seeing the look on Chloe's face, Dylan didn't say a word and hurried out of the room.
"Thank you," Chloe said, turning in Beca's arms and kissing her. "I don't know what's gotten into him."
"I don't smell anything cooking yet," Beca said. "Want me to take the kids for pizza so you have some time for yourself? I'll bring you back a Hawaiian pizza."
"God, I love you," Chloe said, pulling Beca into a deep kiss.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases ~~
While Beca had the kids out, Chloe soaked in a nice hot bath while sipping a glass of wine. Once she was done, she felt much better. She put her fluffiest robe on over her pajamas, grabbed a book, and went downstairs.
Chloe was cuddled up on the sofa, reading, when Beca called out from the kitchen.
"Chlo, we're home."
"In here," Chloe called back.
The kids came running into the living room; Sophie was carrying Chloe's pizza.
"Mommy," Sophie said. "Here's your pizza."
"Thanks, sweetie," Chloe said as she took the pizza and set it on the table in front of her. "Did you guys have fun with mama?"
"Yeah," Sophie said. "We-"
"Mommy, mommy," Dylan interrupted Sophie. "Mama said we could eggroll in your koolaid cookie baking class."
Sophie went to her room since Dylan was talking to Chloe.
"Mama said what?" Chloe asked, her brows furrowed.
"That is not what I said, Dyl," Beca said, laughing as she joined them.
Dylan shrugged at his mama and ran off to find Sophie.
"What exactly did you say?" Chloe asked.
"I said I was going to enroll them in your culinary cookie baking class."
"Wow, I would never have figured that out from what Dylan said," Chloe said, chuckling. "How did this all come about?"
"Dylan was telling me how you suggested baking cookies," Beca said. "When he told me he didn't want to make chocolate chip cookies, I was surprised, seeing as how those are his favorite. So, I asked what kind of cookies he would want to make."
"Did he say the M&M cookies with only red M&Ms?"
"He did," Beca said, grinning. "But I convinced him that you make the best Christmas cookies ever, and he could help decorate them. So, now he and Sophie want you to teach them how to make Christmas cookies and decorate them so they can leave some for Santa."
"It's lucky for you that tomorrow is Saturday and Christmas Eve," Chloe said. "You'll be home and can be my teacher's aid when we bake the cookies."
"Why?" Beca whined. "What did I do?"
"Dylan is definitely your son," Chloe said, shaking her head. "He whines just like you."
"Hey!" Beca said just as Dylan ran into the room.
"Mama, Sophie won't let me watch what I want to watch on TV," Dylan whined.
"She was watching first," Beca said. "You can have a turn when she's done."
"Fiiiiinnnnnneeee," Dylan said and ran off.
Chloe looked at Beca, smirking.
"Shut up," Beca said as Chloe laughed.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases ~~
The next morning, Chloe woke and eased out of Beca's arms. Beca stirred long enough to roll over to her side of the bed and pull the blankets over her head. Chloe smiled as she made her way to Beca's side of the bed.
"Beca," Chloe said softly. "Time to get up."
"Don't wanna," Beca mumbled from beneath the blankets.
Chloe grabbed the blankets and pulled the down, laughing as Beca made grabby hands to try and pull them back up.
"Not today, sunshine," Chloe said. "You promised the kids we'd make cookies with them."
"No," Beca said. "I promised the kids you'd make cookies with them."
"This is a partnership, babe," Chloe said, looking down at Beca. "So, get your lazy butt up and help me make breakfast so we can start our cookie baking."
"Fine, but first," Beca said, sitting up and grabbing Chloe, and throwing her down onto the bed.
Chloe giggled as Beca leaned down to kiss her. Chloe held the back of Beca's neck and deepened the kiss.
"Mama, mommy," Dylan cried out as he ran into their room.
Beca sighed and looked up at Dylan. She moved off Chloe, and Chloe sat up behind Beca and put her chin on Beca's shoulder so she could see Dylan.
"Dyl, what have we told you about coming into our room without knocking?" Beca asked.
"Not to do it?" Dylan said, wearing a Mitchell smirk that Beca would have been proud of if he hadn't just interrupted her and Chloe.
"Boy, you are something else," Beca said, shaking her head.
"Did you want something, Dyl?" Chloe asked from behind Beca.
"Me and Sophie are hungry," Dylan said.
"We'll be down in a few minutes to make breakfast," Chloe said.
"Okay," Dylan said, rushing out of the room, yelling, "Sophie, they're up!"
Chloe chuckled and kissed Beca's shoulder.
"He is so your son."
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases ~~
"Are you two done?" Chloe asked.
"Yes, mommy," Sophie said.
"I am," Dylan said.
"Go get dressed while mama and I clean up the kitchen," Chloe said. "When we're done, our cookie baking class will start, okay?"
"Okay, mommy," Sophie and Dylan said and then left the kitchen.
"Do you have everything you need to make the cookies?" Beca asked as she cleared the dishes from the counter.
"Are you freely volunteering to go to the store on Christmas Eve?"
"I don't want to," Beca said as she started to load the dishwasher. "But, I will if I need to."
"Let me do a quick check and see," Chloe said.
Beca poured herself another cup of coffee as Chloe checked the pantry.
"Looks like you're going to the store," Chloe said. "We need flour and sugar. We have some but not enough."
"Keep looking and give me a list when you're done," Beca said. "I think most of the stores that are open will be closing early, so there won't be time to go again later."
"Give me ten minutes," Chloe said, hurrying to check her supplies again.
Beca ran upstairs to grab her wallet, phone, and a light jacket and went back downstairs. As soon as she walked into the kitchen, Chloe was handing her the completed list. Beca looked it over.
"Would you mind taking Dylan with you?" Chloe asked. "He's been a real pill the past couple of days, and I don't want him to do something that gets him punished the day before Christmas."
"I'll take him," Beca said. "Call or text me if you find you missed something."
"I will," Chloe said, pulling Beca into a kiss. "Thanks for doing this."
"No problem," Beca said and left the kitchen.
Beca walked over to the staircase and yelled, "Dylan! Grab a jacket, you're going to the store with me."
"Okay," Dylan called back.
Beca stood at the foot of the stairs, waiting for Dylan. He came running out of his room.
"Slow down there, bud," Beca said.
"Sorry, mama," Dylan said as he slowly came down the steps.
After a quick kiss from Chloe, Beca and Dylan were on their way.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases ~~
Two hours later, Chloe was pacing back and forth in the kitchen. Sophie sat at the counter, watching her.
"I'm going to try calling your mama again," Chloe said, grabbing her phone from the counter.
Just then, Chloe heard the garage door rumble open. She quickly set her phone down and ran to open the door to the garage. She waited in the doorway until Beca turned the engine off. Beca looked at her through the window, and Chloe could tell she was upset.
"What happened?" Chloe asked as soon as Beca got out of the car.
"Your son happened," Beca said as Chloe reached the car.
Chloe grabbed a bag from the backseat and looked at Dylan.
"What did you do, Dylan?" Chloe asked as he got out of the car.
"Let's go inside so he can tell you," Beca said.
Chloe followed Beca and Dylan into the kitchen, setting her bag on the counter.
"So, what happened?" Chloe asked. "You've been gone a long time."
"Go ahead," Beca said, looking at Dylan. "Tell mommy what you did."
"I ate some cookies," Dylan said. "And mama had to pay for them."
"What?" Chloe asked, perplexed. "You bought him cookies when we're planning to make cookies?"
"That's not what happened," Beca said. "He wouldn't listen to me when I told him to stay close to me. He wandered off, so. I went looking for him, and by the time I found him, he had eaten about half a dozen cookies. But that's not the worst part. He opened six different cookie boxes from the bakery department and ate one cookie from each of them; the manager had me pay for all of them. And they weren't the boxes of just one dozen cookies, they were the extra large party-sized boxes."
"Dylan Timothy Beale," Chloe said. "You know better. What were you thinking?"
Dylan shrugged. "I was thinking I wanted cookies."
Chloe breathed in sharply through her nose. "Go to your room, young man. We'll be up to deal with you later. Sophie, go play while mama and I talk."
"Is Dylan in trouble?" Sophie asked.
"Yes," Chloe said. "He's in big trouble."
As soon as Sophie was gone, Chloe turned to Beca and asked, "Why do I feel like there's more to the story?"
"Because there is," Beca said. "After spending almost sixty dollars on a bunch of cookies, I didn't want or need, I had to take them with me. I wasn't going to bring them home because that would have been rewarding Dylan for his bad behavior. So, after thinking about it, I decided to donate them to a nearby homeless shelter that caters to families. I figured the kids would enjoy them."
"That was a nice thing to do," Chloe said, smiling softly.
"That's not the end of it," Beca said. "I made Dylan go in with me to donate the cookies. It was eye-opening; there were so many families with kids there, Chlo. As soon as I said we wanted to donate the cookies, the kids came running; they were so excited. The person who runs the shelter calmed them all down and said the cookies would have to wait until after dinner."
Chloe saw Beca getting emotional and pulled her into a hug as Beca continued to speak.
"When I looked closer at the kids, they all had this sad, defeated look in their eyes. It got to me, and I wanted to do something to help them. Dylan and I left, and I went straight to the first ATM I could find and took out as much cash as I could. Then I went to a nearby pizza place and ordered like thirty pizzas to be delivered to the shelter. I took the money to the shelter and told them about the pizzas. The manager thanked me profusely. I told her I wished we could do more. She said we could always volunteer to help serve meals. So, tomorrow Dylan and I have the lunch shift and will be serving lunch to everyone at the shelter."
"You're a good woman, Beca Mitchell," Chloe said, kissing Beca's temple. "I think Sophie and I will join you and Dylan tomorrow."
"I'd like that," Beca said. "I'm sure the shelter will appreciate it."
"Since the kids and I are off all week, maybe we can volunteer each day," Chloe said. "I doubt they get too many volunteers during the week."
"That sounds good," Beca said. "And I can help on weekends."
Beca got quiet; Chloe hugged her tighter.
"I guess we should go deal with Dylan," Chloe said. "I think his punishment should be one week of no TV or video games."
"I agree," Beca said. "What about making cookies? We promised Sophie we would; she doesn't deserve to be punished because of what Dylan did."
"You're right," Chloe said. "After we talk to Dylan, you, me, and Sophie will make cookies."
"Let's do this," Beca said, taking Chloe's hand and leaving the kitchen.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases ~~
One hour later, Sophie, Chloe, and Beca were laughing as they made cookies.
"Mama?" Dylan called from the doorway.
Sophie and Chloe looked at Dylan; Chloe then looked at Beca.
"Yeah, Dyl?" Beca said.
"I'm sorry for what I did," Dylan said. "Can I help make cookies with you guys?"
"Sure, Dyl, you can help," Beca said, smiling. "Get over here."
Chloe smiled at Beca as Dylan joined them.
"We're decorating now," Sophie said, holding up the cookie she was decorating. "See?"
"It looks like mama," Dylan said, causing Sophie to laugh.
"Hey," Beca said. "You take that back."
"Nope," Dylan said, shaking his head. "It does look like you."
Beca took her finger and smeared cookie icing on Dylan's cheek.
"Now you look like a cookie," Beca said, laughing.
"It's like having three kids!" Chloe said, trying not to laugh.

25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022
Day 5 - Chloe's Best Christmas Ever Continues
Author's Prompt (from 2021 fics): I've had a couple of requests asking what Beca did for Chloe on Christmas Day so, this is a continuation of 2021's Chloe's Best Christmas Ever?  To bring you up to speed, Beca invited Chloe to LA to spend Christmas with her because she hasn't seen Chloe since moving to LA two years ago. Chloe has always hated Christmas and never had a good one. Beca goes all out to give Chloe the best Christmas ever. After an amazing Christmas Eve, Chloe wakes to the Best Christmas Day Ever.
Chloe was still smiling when she woke up next to Beca the next morning.
"Merry Christmas, Chloe," Beca said as she leaned in to kiss Chloe.
"Yes, it is," Chloe said, pulling Beca closer and deepening the kiss.
The kiss ended, and Chloe buried her face in Beca's neck, mumbling, "Only two days in, and it's already the best Christmas I've ever had."
"Wait until you see what I have planned for today," Beca said, smiling and hugging Chloe closer to her.
"I hope it starts with a big breakfast," Chloe said. "I was so nervous and excited last night that I didn't eat very much. Now I'm starving."
Beca checked the time. "Can you wait about an hour? We have brunch plans."
"We do?"
"Yes, we do," Beca replied, chuckling as she tried to roll away from Chloe.
"Mmmm, but I'm so comfy," Chloe said, holding Beca tighter.
"Come on," Beca said. "There will be plenty of food and maybe even some mimosas involved."
"Ugh," Chloe said, releasing Beca. "You know I can't refuse a good mimosa."
"I do know that," Beca said, climbing out of bed before Chloe tried to pull her back. "Get up and get dressed."
"Fine," Chloe said, getting off the bed. "What should I wear?"
"It's low-key and casual," Beca said. "I'm wearing jeans and a light Christmas sweater."
"What?" Chloe practically screeched. "You own a Christmas sweater? The same girl who called Jessica lame whenever she wore one? The same girl who threatened to make Amy do extra cardio when she suggested that whoever your Secret Santa was should get you one? That girl?"
"Ha Ha," Beca said. "It was a gift, and we're going to see the person who gave it to me, so I thought I'd wear it. Speaking of gifts, I have some things under the tree for you. You can't open them until later."
"I thought the plane ticket and last night's party were my gifts from you," Chloe said.
"They are," Beca said. "It's just a little something extra I picked up so you'd have something to open today."
Tears came to Chloe's eyes as she sat on the edge of the bed.
"I don't know what to say," Chloe mumbled.
"You don't have to say anything," Beca said, kneeling in front of Chloe. "I told you I was going to make this Christmas one to remember. And, if you'll let me, I'll give you plenty more. I love you, Chloe."
Chloe threw her arms around Beca's neck and smashed their lips together. "I love you, too."
"Good," Beca said, pulling back from the kiss. "Now, get dressed. Our ride will be here shortly."
"Okay," Chloe said, wiping her eyes.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
Chloe was ready before Beca and was sitting on the sofa waiting for her. She looked up when she heard Beca coming down the stairs. She giggled when she saw what Beca was wearing.
"Oh, my God!" Chloe said. "You look totes adorable in the sweater."
"Having a moose on my sweater isn't adorable," Beca said. "It's badass."
"Nope," Chloe said, shaking her head. "Having a sweater with a moose and the words Merry Chris-Moose is not badass. It's adorable."
"Agree to disagree," Beca said, checking her phone. "Our car should be here any minute."
There was a knock at the door.
"I guess that's him," Beca said, opening the door to a man.
"Miss Mitchell," the man said. "I am Jason, and will be your driver for the day."
"Thank you, Jason," Beca said as she turned to Chloe and held out her hand. "You ready?"
"I'm ready," Chloe said, taking Beca's hand.
Beca held Chloe's hand as they followed Jason to the car. Chloe looked at the car and stopped.
"There's someone already in the car," Chloe said.
"I know," Beca said. "Come on. Let's not keep them waiting."
Jason opened the car door, and Chloe was startled when Aubrey and Stacie yelled, "Merry Christmas, Chloe!"
"Brey? Stacie?" Chloe said, holding a hand to her chest. "What are you guys doing here?"
"Beca's Christmas gift to us was plane tickets to LA," Aubrey said. "So, we could celebrate Christmas with you."
"Although I'm a bit put out that we weren't invited to the studio's party last night," Stacie said as she moved closer to Aubrey so Beca and Chloe could get into the car.
Chloe got in and hugged Stacie and then Aubrey before sitting next to Aubrey. Beca climbed in and sat next to Chloe.
"I already told you, Stacie," Beca said. "Everyone was only allowed a plus one, and Chloe was it for me."
"You really missed out, Stacie," Chloe said, smirking. "We sat at the same table as Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Adele, and Emily."
"Emily who?" Aubrey asked.
"Our Emily," Chloe said. "Emily Junk."
"Oh," Aubrey said. "How is she doing? Doesn't she work with you, Beca?"
"She's good," Chloe said.
"Yes, she does," Beca said.
"Maybe we can arrange to see her while we're here," Stacie said. "It's been forever."
"Don't worry, you'll see her," Beca said.
Beca sat back smiling as Chloe regaled Aubrey and Stacie with stories of the party the night before. They had been riding for about fifteen minutes when Beca noticed they were close to their destination. She sat up and looked out the window as Jason parked the car.
"We're here," Beca said, getting everyone's attention.
Jason opened the door, and Beca got out. She held out her hand to Chloe, and Chloe took it.
"Is this place open?" Chloe asked. "It looks closed."
"Oh, it is," Beca said. "I rented out the whole place."
"You did what?" Chloe asked, shocked. "Why would you do that?"
"So we wouldn't be disturbed by fans and paparazzi," Beca explained. "Come on, let's get inside. They're expecting us!"
"Who's expecting us?" Chloe asked, looking over to Stacie and Aubrey.
"You'll see," Beca said, holding out her hand to Chloe. "Do you trust me?"
"With every fiber of my being," Chloe said and took Beca's hand.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
Beca led Chloe to a door and stopped; Stacie and Aubrey stood behind Chloe.
"Okay," Beca said. "When Aubrey told me about how you didn't like seeing your family for Christmas, it gave me an idea. I decided that you really needed to be around your family today."
Chloe pulled her hand out of Beca's. "My parents aren't in there, are they?"
"What? No," Beca said. "When I said your family, I meant your Bella family. Our Bella family."
With that, Beca threw open the doors. Tears came to Chloe's eyes as she looked around to see all the Bellas standing around with their significant others.
"Oh, my gosh," Chloe said. "They're all really here."
"As soon as I said it was for you," Beca said. "They agreed to come. Every single one of them."
Chloe pulled Beca into a kiss, and Beca put her arms around Chloe's waist, pulling her closer. The Bellas cheered.
"Come on," Aubrey said, gently pushing Chloe and Beca to get them moving. "I'm sure everyone is hungry. Let's not keep them waiting."
"Yeah, you two, move it," Stacie said. "I'm starving."
The four former Bellas stopped to greet their Bella sisters as they made their way to their table. When they reached Emily, she squealed and laughed.
"I can't believe you wore that," Emily said, looking at Beca's sweater. "You told me you were going to burn it when I gave it to you."
"I couldn't burn it," Beca said, looking down at the sweater. "It was a gift, so I had to wear it at least once, and then I'll burn it."
Once they arrived at the table, Beca pulled out the chair for Chloe.
"Wow, how chivalrous," Chloe commented, kissing Beca's cheek.
Servers came out and placed hot food items in chafing dishes and set up the other goodies on the tables. One of the servers walked over to Beca.
"Miss Mitchell," the server said. "Everything is ready. You may begin whenever you are ready."
"Thank you," Beca said, standing. "Okay, everyone, the food's ready. The line starts behind Chloe."
"You all can go ahead," Chloe said as she stood. "I'm going to check everything out first."
Chloe smiled and took Beca's hand, and led her to the various tables to see what was available. The others made a line and proceeded to fill their plates.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
Everyone was done eating, and murmurs of various conversations were heard around the room. Beca excused herself from the table and went to the kitchen. She thanked everyone and handed each worker an envelope with what she hoped was a nice tip.
"I want to thank you all for taking time from your holiday to work today," Beca said to the group. "Everything was amazing. We're done, and you can start clearing everything. I don't want to keep you any longer than necessary."
"Thank you, Miss Mitchell," the head chef said. "Have a good rest of your holiday."
Beca thanked the woman and left the kitchen. Several of the servers followed her out and began clearing everything.
Jason entered the room and immediately went over to Beca.
"Miss Mitchell," Jason said. "Additional vehicles are here, and we're all ready to leave whenever you are."
"Thank you, Jason," Beca said. "We're done and will be out in a few minutes."
"Excellent," Jason said.
Jason left, and Beca stood in the middle of the room, getting everyone's attention.
"Okay, everyone," Beca said. "We have cars here to take everyone to my house, where we will continue this little reunion. The cars will be available to transport you all back to your hotel whenever you're ready to go. Make sure you have everything before you leave."
Everyone stood and gathered their belongings. Beca and Chloe led the group out the doors, and everyone got into a car.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
Ever since they returned from Brunch, Beca had been busy playing hostess, and Chloe wanted a moment alone with her. She asked each Bella if they had seen Beca.
"I think she's in the kitchen," Jessica told her.
"Thanks, Jess," Chloe said and headed for the kitchen.
Chloe walked in to find Beca putting cookies and some finger food on trays.
"Need some help?" Chloe asked, reaching for a meringue cookie from a nearby tray.
"No thanks," Beca said. "I'm almost done. Are you enjoying yourself?"
Chloe smiled and wrapped her arms around Beca from behind.
"Yes, I am," Chloe said, kissing the side of Beca's head. "I don't know how to express how much I appreciate everything you did to make this the perfect Christmas."
"I love you, Chloe," Beca said, placing her hands over Chloe's and leaning back into her. "And I wanted to show you what Christmas could be like with people you loved and who love you."
"Mission accomplished," Chloe said, turning Beca to face her and kissing her.
"Meringue cookies!" Fat Amy yelled, causing Beca and Chloe to jump apart, thus ending the kiss. "Mmmm, these are so good. Where did you get them? They taste just like the ones Stacie always made."
"I made them from Stacie's recipe," Beca said.
"Stacie gave you her secret recipe?" Fat Amy asked. "Stacie Conrad, you bitch! Where are you?"
Fat Amy stomped out of the kitchen, yelling for Stacie.
"We should stop her," Chloe said.
"I think Stacie can take her," Beca said, pulling Chloe closer to her. "Especially since she'll have Aubrey on her side."
"You're right, she'll be fine," Chloe said as she smashed their lips together again.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
Later that night, after the Bellas were safely on their way to the hotel, Chloe couldn't stop smiling. She looked around the living room; her gaze fell upon Beca, who was talking to Aubrey and Stacie. Chloe was throwing heart eyes at Beca that could have been seen from space.
Beca looked over at Chloe and smiled. She walked over and sat next to her.
"So, how are you doing?" Beca asked. "Was today everything you hoped it would be?"
"It was more than I could have dreamed of," Chloe said, putting her arm around Beca's shoulder and pulling her into a kiss.
"Do you two ever stop?" Stacie asked, smiling at the couple.
Chloe pulled back enough to say, "No," before reclaiming Beca's lips.
"I'm going to bed," Stacie said as Beca pulled back from Chloe. "Thanks again for everything today, Beca. And for letting me and Brey crash here for the rest of our visit."
"You're welcome," Beca said. "Goodnight."
"Goodnight, Stacie," Chloe said as Stace leaned down to hug her and Beca.
"Goodnight, Chlo," Stacie said and went upstairs.
"Are you ready for bed?" Beca asked Chloe.
"You go on up," Chloe said. "I'll be up in a minute."
"Everything okay?" Beca asked.
"More than okay," Chloe said, smiling. "I just have to get a present I want to give you."
"And you can't give it to me here?" Beca asked.
"I'd prefer to give it to you upstairs," Chloe said.
"Oh, okay," Beca said, standing. "I'll see you upstairs."
Chloe smiled as she watched Beca head upstairs. As soon as Beca was out of sight, she jumped up and grabbed a big ribbon that had been discarded on the floor. She then raced upstairs, stopping outside Beca's bedroom.
Chloe adjusted the bow and knocked softly on the door.
"Come on in, Chloe," Beca's voice came through the door.
Chloe softly giggled and stayed where she was. She could hear Beca mumbling as she walked to the door. Beca pulled the door open and laughed when she saw Chloe standing there with a big red bow sitting atop her head.
Chloe struck a pose, saying, "Ready to unwrap your final gift?'
Beca grabbed Chloe's arm and pulled her inside the room.
Down the hall, Stacie smiled as she heard Chloe and Beca giggling.
"Merry Christmas, BeChloe," she whispered before snuggling into Aubrey's side.

25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022
Day 16 - Christmas Choices
Summary (HS AU): Chloe Beale is the new girl at Barden High. The 2 most popular guys in school both have eyes for her and vie for her attention. Beca Mitchell sees what's happening and teases Chloe about it. So, who ends up as Chloe's date for the Christmas Formal?
It was the first day of school at Barden High. Chloe Beale walked through the doors and went toward the office. She was bumped and jostled as students and faculty hurried to wherever they needed to be.
Chloe entered the office with a sigh.
"Can I help you?" a frazzled-looking older woman asked from behind the computer.
"Um, yeah," Chloe said. "I'm new here, and I need my schedule and locker information."
"Name?"
"Uh, Chloe Beale."
The woman sat and started typing something into the computer.
Chloe looked around as she stood waiting. She noticed a guy smiling at her and gave him a small smile in acknowledgment.
"He's a douche," a small brunette said as she joined Chloe at the counter.
"What?"
"Good morning, Mrs. Abernathy," the girl said. "I need an early dismissal for today."
"Good morning, Beca," the woman said. "Wait your turn. I'm helping Miss Beale, and I'll get to you when I'm done with her."
Beca looked at Chloe and smirked. "New girl, huh? So, what's your story?"
"My story?" Chloe asked.
"Yeah, your story," Beca said. "You're starting Senior Year in a new school, of course, there's a story. So, what's yours?"
"How do you know I'm a Senior?" Chloe asked.
"It's a gift," Beca said, shrugging.
"Miss Beale," Mrs. Abernathy said. "Here is your class schedule and your locker information. I'll get someone to-." She stopped and looked at Beca. "Beca, you wouldn't mind showing Miss Beale to her first class, would you? Maybe give her a little tour to help her find her way around?"
Beca looked at Chloe and smirked. "Sure, I'd be happy to play school tour guide for Miss Beale."
"It's Chloe," Chloe said. "And, thank you."
"I still need that early dismissal note, Mrs. Abernathy," Beca said. "I need to leave after fifth period."
Mrs. Abernathy pulled out the dismissal notices and began filling one out.
"Let me see your schedule," Beca said to Chloe.
Chloe handed it to Beca, and Beca looked at it.
"We have the same morning classes," Beca said. "And lunch. I can show you where your classes are until I have to leave."
"Here you are, Beca," Mrs. Abernathy said. "And here are late passes for you both. Miss Beale should go to her locker before class."
"Thank you, Mrs. Abernathy," Beca and Chloe said just as a bell rang.
"That's just the warning bell," Beca said as she and Chloe left the office. "It signifies that you have five minutes to get to class. Come on, your locker is this way."
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
Beca and Chloe had the same classes up to lunch.
"You can sit with my friends and me if you want," Beca said as they entered the cafeteria. "We're not the cool kids, but we aren't the outcasts either. I think you'll like everyone."
"I'd like to sit with you," Chloe said.
Beca led Chloe over to a table.
"Hey, Beca," a tall busty brunette said. "Hi, Chloe, right? You were in my second period class."
"That's right," Chloe said, recognizing the girl.
"Hey, guys," Beca said. "This is Chloe Beale. She just started today." Beca and Chloe sat down, and Beca introduced everyone, pointing out each person as she did. "That's Stacie, and that's CR, Amy, Jessica, Ashley, Benji, Emily, and Jesse."
"It's nice to meet you all," Chloe said, looking around the table.
After lunch, Chloe walked with Beca, Benji, and Stacie to their fifth period class.
"Hey, Stacie, what class do you have after this?" Beca asked.
"Um, History with Mr. Donovan," Stacie said, looking at her schedule.
"Would you mind showing Chloe to class?" Beca asked. "I'm leaving after this period."
"Sure," Stacie said as they all took seats.
"Could I get your phone number?" Chloe whispered to Beca.
"Um, sure," Beca said, pulling out her phone.
Chloe took the phone and put her contact info in.
"Can I text you tonight?"
"Okay, class, settle down," Miss Lancaster said.
"Sure," Beca whispered.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
After class, Beca left to go to her appointment; Chloe went with Stacie to their next class.
"Hey, babe," a blond called out as she ran up to Stacie.
Stacie gave the girl a quick peck on the lips.
"Brey, this is Chloe, she's new," Stacie said, smiling at the girl. "Chloe, this is my girlfriend, Aubrey Posen."
"It's nice to meet you," Chloe said.
"You, too," Aubrey replied.
Class began, and the three sat together. Chloe enjoyed getting to know Stacie and Aubrey. She learned a bit more about them and about Beca and her friends.
Aubrey and Chloe had music for the last period of the day, and they walked to class together.
"Do you sing?" Aubrey asked.
"Yeah," Chloe said. "I was in the chorus in my old school."
"You'll have to join our chorus," Aubrey said excitedly. "That's where most of us met and became friends."
"Oh, that's nice," Chloe said. "Do I have to audition to be in the chorus?"
"Yes," Aubrey said. "Mr. Shoemaker is both the music teacher and the chorus director. We can ask him if you can audition for him in class."
"What should I sing?" Chloe asked as they entered the music room.
"Whatever you want," Aubrey said. "Mr. Shoemaker?"
"Yes, Miss Posen," Mr. Shoemaker said.
"This is Chloe Beale," Aubrey said. "She just started Barden today. And she sings and wants to try out for the chorus. Can she sing now?"
"Let me get the class settled, and then we'll do it," Mr. Shoemaker said. "Alright, class, settle down and take a seat."
The class did as instructed.
Aubrey waved Jesse over to her, saying, "Bring your guitar.'
Jesse did as requested and stood in front of Aubrey and Chloe.
"What's up?" Jesse asked.
"Chloe's going to audition for the chorus," Aubrey said. "Could you accompany her on your guitar?"
"What song will you be singing?"
"Um, do you know Landslide by Fleetwood Mac?"
"I sure do," Jesse said, smiling as he sat on a chair and readied his guitar.
Mr. Shoemaker stood next to Chloe in front of the class.
"Everyone, this is Chloe Beale, and she'd like to audition for the chorus," Mr. Shoemaker said. "Chloe, start whenever you're ready."
"Thank you," Chloe said and nodded to Jesse.
Jesse started playing, and Chloe began to sing. Several people were nodding in approval as she sang. Aubrey was all smiles.
When Chloe finished, the class applauded and cheered.
"I'd usually ask the members of the chorus to weigh in before accepting anyone new," Mr. Shoemaker told Chloe with a smile. "But I think it's clear you're in."
Chloe squealed, and Aubrey ran over to hug her.
"We are going to have so much fun," Aubrey said.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
Chloe was all smiles as she got off the school bus. The first thing she did was text her mother to let her know she was home. Her mother texted back that she had to work late, so Chloe was on her own for dinner.
Chloe chewed her lip and then smiled as she sent a new text.
Chloe: Hey, you busy?
BMitchell: No, what's up?
Chloe: Do you know of a good place near the Barden Gardens apartments where I can get something to eat on the cheap?
BMitchell: Come to apt. 327, and you can eat for free.
Chloe gasped. "Beca lives in my building?"
Chloe ran out of her apartment and up one flight to the third floor. She found 327 and knocked.
"What took you so long, Beale?" Beca said, answering the door. "Come on in."
Beca stepped aside and allowed Chloe to enter.
"I didn't know we lived in the same building," Chloe said. "We're in apartment 212." Chloe squealed and took Beca's hands in hers. "Do you know what this means?"
"Um, that you're going to be annoying me all the time?"
"No, silly," Chloe said. "It means we can ride the bus together to school every day."
"Um, no can do," Beca said, sitting on the sofa. "I don't take the bus."
"You don't?" Chloe said sadly. "Why not?"
"Because I have a car and drive to school," Beca said.
"Oh," Chloe said, sitting in the chair across from Beca.
Beca looked at her and smiled. Chloe was pouting and looking at her with puppy dog eyes.
"Okay," Beca said. "I know what that look means, and you can ride with me as long as you don't annoy me too much during the ride."
Chloe squealed again and rushed over to hug Beca. After a few seconds, Chloe released Beca and sat next to her.
"Come help me make dinner," Beca said. "I'm making baked chicken and roasted potatoes."
"I'd love to help," Chloe said, following Beca into the kitchen.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022 ~~
September made way to October, and according to Chloe, she and Beca were best friends. Chloe spent as much time at Beca's as she did at her own place, especially after Beca's mother gave her an open invitation to have dinner with them anytime.
It was almost Halloween, and Chloe was insisting that Beca has to wear a costume to school.
"Why?"
"Because everyone else is planning to," Chloe said.
"If everyone else jumped off a cliff, are you going to do that, too?" Beca asked, then shook her head and grimaced. "Eww, that was something my dad would say. And sadly, I'll never be able to unsay it."
Chloe bit her lip to keep from laughing at the face Beca was making while talking about her dad. Her face became serious as she looked at Beca.
"Do you ever see him?" Chloe asked.
"Who? My dad?" Beca asked. At Chloe's nod, she said, "No. And I don't want to."
"I miss my dad," Chloe said. "I mean, I know he cheated on my mom, and the divorce was totes his fault, but he was always a good dad to me."
October and November faded away, and it was now December. Christmas was two weeks away, and Barden High was gearing up for the Winter Concert and Christmas Formal being held on back-to-back nights the week before Christmas.
"My mom asked to invite you and your mom to our place for Christmas Eve," Beca told Chloe as she drove to school one morning. "We usually have a nice dinner with a few friends."
"Oh, that would be nice," Chloe said. "I'll mention it to my mom."
"Okay," Beca said. "Just let me know."
Beca smiled when Chloe began singing along with the radio. It was an everyday occurrence, and Chloe had a good voice, so Beca didn't mind.
"Hey, Beca," Chloe said midsong. "Would you mind taking me to the Winter concert and back home? My mom won't be able to make it because that's the same night as her office party."
"Are you sure you don't want to ask one of your boyfriends to take you?" Beca asked, chuckling.
"I don't have a boyfriend," Chloe said.
"Not yet," Beca said. "But Tom and Chicago are trying way too hard for the honor. I think there's even a pool going around about which one will win you over and when."
"Really?" Chloe asked. "Who wins if I don't choose either one of them?"
"I don't know," Beca said as they parked in the school's lot. "I guess everyone figures since they are the two most popular guys in school, one of them will win you over."
"Chloe!" Chicago called out, seeing her getting out of Beca's car.
"Here's bachelor number one," Beca snickered.
"Shut up," Chloe said just as Chicago reached her.
"Hey, can I walk you to class?"
"Sure, Chicago," Chloe said.
Chicago smiled, and Beca half expected him to cheer. The two walked off, and Beca trailed behind them, unsure of why Chloe kept looking back at her.
Later at lunch, their friends were teasing Chloe about Chicago.
"If you wait another day to be his girlfriend, I could win a hundred bucks," Fat Amy said.
"Hey, Chloe," Tom said, pushing Beca to the side so he could sit next to Chloe. "I was wondering if you'd like to go to the movies with me this Saturday."
"No, thanks, Tom," Chloe said. "I have other plans."
"With who?" Tom asked. "Walp? He's a loser. I am so much better than him."
"No, it's not Chicago," Chloe said.
Chloe looked over her shoulder to see Beca leaving the cafeteria. She stood, picked up her books, and turned to leave as well. Tom stopped her.
"What time should I pick you up?"
"No means no, Tom," Chloe said and stormed off.
"She'll come around," Tom said smugly. "They always do."
The next day, Beca was all smiles as she walked into the cafeteria with Chloe. They joined their friends at their usual table and sat down.
"What put you into such a good mood, Beca?" Stacie asked.
"I got asked to the Christmas Formal," Beca said.
"By who?" Aubrey asked.
"Did you finally get tired of Jesse asking you out every five minutes and throw him a bone?" Ashley asked.
"It wasn't me," Jesse said, frowning.
"So, who was it?" Jessica asked.
"It was me," Chloe said, smiling at Beca.
"Oh, my god," CR squealed. "Please let me tell Tom and Chicago. I want to see those smug smiles wiped off their faces when they find out Chloe picked Beca."
"Go for it," Chloe said. "Consider it an early Christmas present."
Everyone laughed as CR jumped up and went in search of Tom and/or Chicago.
"I didn't know you were such a bad girl," Beca whispered to Chloe.
"You ain't seen nothing yet," Chloe whispered before kissing Beca.

25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022
Day 8 - Out for Christmas
The full prompt from AO3 User RedErin1996 will be posted at the end of the story.
*******************************************************************
Beca and Chloe were having coffee at their favorite coffee spot when Chloe suddenly started crying. Beca was at a loss; she never could handle comforting anyone crying, but she was way out of her element in having to comfort a crying Chloe Beale.
"What's wrong?" Beca asked.
"I called my parents last night," Chloe said. "And they said they didn't want me to come home for Christmas. It would reflect poorly on them to have their gay daughter staying under their roof."
"Seriously?" Beca asked, dumbfounded.
"Seriously," Chloe said, sniffling. "I should never have come out to them at Thanksgiving. I would have been better off staying in the closet."
Beca sat across from Chloe, rapidly blinking as she tried to process what Chloe just told her.
"Um," Beca said, trying to find words of comfort for Chloe.
"It's okay, Beca," Chloe said, wiping her eyes. "You don't have to say anything. I'm fine with it."
"But how?" Beca asked. "How are you fine with your folks telling you they don't want you to come home for Christmas because you're gay?"
"The fact that you just found out I was gay doesn't bother you?" Chloe asked.
"Why would it?" Beca asked. "You're still Chloe, and that's all I care about."
"Thank you," Chloe said, smiling. "Too bad my parents don't see it that way."
"So, what are you going to do about Christmas?" Beca asked after a moment.
"I'll just stay here in the Bellas' house," Chloe said. "I really don't have anywhere else to go."
"You can come with me to my mom's," Beca said. "I'm not going to lie, she's homophobic, but she doesn't have to know that you're gay."
"I don't think that's a good idea," Chloe said. "I'm out now. I'm done with being ashamed of who I am, and I'm not going to lie about it anymore."
"I get it," Beca said. "And for the record, I think it was very brave of you to come out like you did."
"Thanks," Chloe said. "That means a lot to me.."
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
Later that day, Beca was in her dorm room, going over her conversation with Chloe. She wasn't lying when she told Chloe how brave she thought Chloe was for coming out.
"I wish I was brave enough to come out like Chloe did," Beca murmured. "I already know my mom will disown me; my dad will probably join her, and then where will I be?"
Beca turned over to lie on her stomach.
"I could just stay here for Christmas," Beca thought. "Celebrate with Chloe. Maybe even come out to her and tell her how I feel about her."
Beca lay still for a few minutes, contemplating the idea.
"Nope," Beca mumbled into her pillow. "Just because Chloe's gay doesn't mean she likes me that way. What if I tell her I'm gay and my father finds out? I may not want to be here, but he could railroad my being able to stay. As much as I hate to admit it, I've made new friends being in the Bellas. And they've become like family to me; I can't risk losing that."
Beca flopped back over and was now laying on her back.
"Arrgh," Beca cried out. "Why did I have to be born this way?"
Beca heard keys in the door and turned her head to see her roommate, Kimmy Jin, coming in with two of her friends. Kimmy glared at her, and Beca sat up. Beca knew they were going to play video games and didn't feel like sticking around for that, so she grabbed her laptop bag and moved to the door.
"Excuse me," she said as she pushed past Kimmy and the others.
Once outside her room, Beca secured her laptop bag on her shoulder..
"I might as well get some studying done," Beca mumbled as she made her way out of the building and headed to the library.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
Two weeks before Christmas, Beca received a call from her mother.
"Hey, mom," Beca answered. "What's up?"
"You tell me," Karen Mitchell said.
"What do you mean?"
"I got a call from your father," Karen said. "He told me about your friend Chloe."
The way her mother said Chloe's name threw red flags up.
"What did he tell you about Chloe?"
"That she's gay," Karen said. "I don't want you hanging around people like her."
"People like her?" Beca repeated. "She's my best friend, and you can't tell me who I can or cannot be friends with."
"I'm your mother," Karen said, an edge to her tone. "I am only looking out for you. I don't want her putting ideas into your head that her. . .lifestyle choices are okay."
"Being gay is not contagious, mother," Beca said, gritting her teeth. "It's not something you catch. It's who you're born as; it just sometimes takes time for some people to realize it and come to terms with it."
"Are you saying you approve of her being gay?" Karen asked.
"It has nothing to do with whether I approve or not," Beca said. "I support her because she's my best friend and hasn't done anything for me to strip her of that title."
Karen doesn't say anything, and Beca pushed on.
"I'm not dumping her as my friend," Beca said. "And if it bothers you that much that I have a gay friend, then maybe I should stay here and not come home for Christmas."
"I don't want to fight with you over this," Karen said. "But, you're right. It might be best if you didn't come home."
"Fine," Beca said. "I won't."
"Good," Karen said. "Maybe you can take the time to think about who you associate with."
"I don't have to think-" Beca started and stopped. "You know what? I'm done with this conversation. Bye, mother."
Beca ended the call and threw her phone on her bed.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
The next day, Beca and Chloe were having coffee together.
"So, um, if I didn't go home for Christmas," Beca said. "Would I be able to say in the Bellas house with you?"
"You're not going home for Christmas?" Chloe asked. "Why not?"
"It's a long story," Beca said. "And I'm not sure I should tell you."
Chloe placed her hand on Beca's. "You know you can tell me anything, right?"
"I know," Beca said, sighing as she ran her free hand through her hair. "It's just that it's kind of because of you that I'm not going home."
"Me?" Chloe said. "What did I do?"
"You came out," Beca said.
At Chloe's questioning look, Beca continued.
"I guess because you're out and proud now, my dad found out and called my mom to tell her about the company I was keeping, so my mother called me to tell me to stay away from you."
"Wow," Chloe said. "And I thought my folks were bad. I'm sorry, Beca. I know how much you were looking forward to going home."
"It's not your fault," Beca said. "This is all my mother's doing. I'm not going to let her or my father tell me who I can be friends with. You're my best friend, Chloe, and I will always have your back, no matter what. I promise."
"Thank you for that," Chloe said. "And, as far as I know, there's nothing that says you can't stay in the Bellas house over the Christmas break. So, let's talk about what we're going to do to celebrate Christmas together."
Beca smiled at Chloe's sudden excitement as she started rattling off ideas on things they could do.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
Chloe talked Aubrey into helping her decorate a house since Beca was spending Christmas with her. They had just put the finishing touches on the tree and sat on the sofa to enjoy the fruits of their labor.
"Are you sure it's a good idea to let Beca stay here over Christmas?" Aubrey asked.
"Why wouldn't it be?" Chloe asked. "It makes sense for her to say here since neither of us is welcomed at home."
"I know," Aubrey said. "But, didn't you say that the reason you came out to your parents was because of the feelings you have for Beca?"
"Yes," Chloe said. "I talked about her so much during Thanksgiving that my mom started asking me a lot of questions. I got sick of what the questions were leading to, so I finally blurted out that I liked Beca because I was gay. And, now, they don't want me home for Christmas."
"I'm sorry, Chloe," Aubrey said.
Chloe shrugged. "It is what it is."
"Maybe you should tell Beca how you feel," Aubrey said.
"I'd like to, but I don't want to lose her friendship," Chloe said. "I know she gets on your nerves, but she's been nothing but kind and supportive of me. Which, now that I think about it, is both a good and bad thing."
"Why is it a bad thing?" Aubrey asked.
"Because it makes me think that maybe she likes me, too," Chloe said sadly. "And that maybe I have a shot with her. But she's straight, and I don't want to make her regret taking my side and missing out on Christmas with her mom by telling her how I feel."
"I understand where you're coming from," Aubrey said. "But I still think you should tell her. If she's the friend you think she is, and she doesn't return your feelings, I'm sure she'll still be your friend at the end of the day."
"I'll think about it," Chloe said.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
Two days before Christmas, everyone who was going home was leaving. Beca grabbed her laptop bag, suitcase, and gift for Chloe and left her dorm room. She arrived at the Bella house a short time later, and Chloe answered the door.
"Welcome," Chloe said, pulling Beca into a hug. "Come on in."
"Thanks," Beca said, following Chloe inside. "Wow! The place looks festive."
"Thanks," Chloe said. "I had Brey help with decorating the place."
"Well, you both did a great job," Beca said as she left the bag of gifts by the tree. "So, um, where should I put my stuff?"
"Just leave it by the stairs for now," Chloe said. "We can take it upstairs after we've had lunch."
"Okay," Beca said as she placed her suitcase and laptop bag near the stairs.
"Come to the kitchen," Chloe said, leading the way.
Chloe entered the kitchen and told Beca to sit anywhere. Beca took a stool at the counter as Chloe went to the refrigerator.
"Can I help you with anything?" Beca asked.
"No thanks," Chloe said. "I just made us a salad because I have plans for us for dinner."
"Oh," Beca said. "Does this dinner have anything to do with the delicious aroma I'm smelling?"
"Mmmaybe," Chloe teased, giggling. "I have a pot roast in the slow cooker. I'm also going to add some potatoes and carrots later."
"I love pot roast," Beca said.
"I know," Chloe said. "You told me it was one of your favorite meals."
"I can't believe you remember that," Beca said.
Chloe placed the salad on the counter and told Beca to help herself. As Beca started placing some salad on her plate, Chloe said, "You'd be surprised at what I remember about you, Beca Mitchell."
Chloe laughed at the deer-in-the-headlights look that came to Beca's face.
"Don't worry," Chloe said, winking at Beca. "Some of the things you told me will be forever locked away in the secrets of my best friend vault and will never see the light of day."
"Thank you," Beca said, looking relieved.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
Several hours later, Beca and Chloe were lying on Chloe's bed with Chloe's laptop sitting on the bed between them as they watched Noelle. The movie was almost over, and Beca looked at Chloe. Chloe looked over at her and smiled.
"Um, can we talk?" Beca asked, looking nervously at Chloe. "I want to tell you something.
Chloe paused the movie and sat up.
"Is something wrong?" Chloe asked.
"No, nothing's wrong," Beca said. "I was just wondering what made you decide to come out to your folks? And how did you do it? I mean, did you plan how to tell them? Or did you just blurt it out without meaning to?"
"A little bit of both, I guess," Chloe said. "I had wanted to tell them for a while but always chickened out. When I was home for Thanksgiving, I was talking about, um, this girl I know, and my mother suspected I wanted her to be more than a friend, She started asking all kinds of questions. I knew where she was going with the questions and just finally blurted out that I liked her and that I was gay. And you know how the rest turned out."
Beca sat back, thinking.
"I have something to confess," Beca said, taking a deep breath. "I'm gay," Beca said and let out a breathy chuckle. "Wow! That's the first time I've said it out loud to anyone."
"How are you feeling about it?"
"I feel free," Beca said. "Like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders."
Chloe hugged Beca. "Thank you for telling me."
"Thank you for letting me," Beca said. "I know it won't be this easy to tell my folks, but if I tell enough of my friends, it will get easier to accept myself."
"I'm here for you," Chloe said.
"I know," Beca said. "And I appreciate that."
"Do you want to finish watching the movie?"
"I think I`d like to go to bed now if that's okay?"
"That's okay," Chloe said and put her laptop away.
Beca moved to the other bed, and Chloe clicked off the light.
"Goodnight," Chloe said.
"Sleep well, Chloe."
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
The next morning, Chloe woke to the smell of pancakes and bacon. She got up and used the bathroom before going downstairs. She walked into the kitchen to see Beca putting pancakes and bacon on plates.
"You're up early," Chloe said as she sat at the counter.
"I wanted to make you breakfast," Beca said as she set a plate in front of Chloe and one at her seat. "Sort of a thank you for last night."
"You don't have to thank me, Beca."
"No?" Beca said, reaching for Chloe's plate. "So, I guess you don't want this?"
Beca held the plate out and away from Chloe. Chloe grabbed Beca around her waist and pulled her toward her until Beca's body was flush against her side. Chloe turned her head with a smirk. Beca swallowed and looked down at Chloe's lips.
"Ha!" Chloe said, grabbing the plate and setting it back down in front of her. "You're so easy, Mitchell."
Beca cleared her throat and smiled as Chloe began eating.
"You're lucky I'm in such a good mood, Beale."
"Are you excited about going to the Christmas Fair?"
"No," Beca said. "But I am excited about going to the Christmas Fair. . .with you."
"Careful there, Mitchell," Chloe said. "Talk like that might make me think you like me or something."
"Or something."
Beca smiled and started eating. Chloe sipped her coffee while looking at Beca over the rim of her cup.
"Is she flirting with me?" Chloe thought.
"Um, so what are the plans for today besides going to the Christmas Fair?" Beca asked.
Chloe shrugged. "I don't know. It was a tradition for my family and me to spend all day Christmas Eve watching holiday movies."
"Nope," Beca said, shaking her head. "We need to start new traditions. Why don't we come back here after the fair and watch a holiday movie or two, and then go out to grab a quick dinner, probably at a Chinese place, and then drive around and look at the Christmas lights? That can be our tradition."
"Okay," Chloe said, smiling at Beca. "Let's do that."
"It's a date!" Beca said.
"I can't wait," Chloe said.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
It was late when Beca and Chloe returned to the house.
"The best lights were at the house we saw just outside campus," Beca said as they entered the house.
"I agree," Chloe said. "Would you like some cocoa?"
"Yes, please," Beca said, taking Chloe's arm. "But, first, I have something to ask you."
"Come into the kitchen," Chloe said. "We can talk while I make the cocoa."
"Okay," Beca said and followed Chloe.
Beca sat at the counter and started playing with her fingers.
"So, what did you want to ask me?" Chloe asked as she gathered the ingredients for the cocoa.
"I was, um, wondering if you, um, are going to ask that girl you like out?" Beca asked, staring down at the counter.
"The girl I like?"
"You know, the one that made you come out to your mom," Beca said. "The one you couldn't stop talking about."
"I'm still thinking about it," Chloe said.
"Oh," Beca said. "That's what I thought. I hope it works out for you."
"Actually, I think I'm done thinking about it," Chloe said as she stopped what she was doing and stared at Beca. Beca could feel her staring and looked up.
"Beca, would you like to go out with me sometime?" Chloe asked, walking over to stand next to the younger girl.
Beca stared at Chloe, unblinking as her mind tried to catch up with what was happening; to fully comprehend what Chloe was asking.
"Me?" Beca finally squeaked out. "I'm the girl you like? And you want to date me?"
"Yeah," Chloe said. "I mean, if that's something you want as well."
"Hell, yeah!" Beca exclaimed, jumping up and pulling Chloe to her. She pulled back and looked at Chloe's lips. "Can I kiss you?"
"That's rather bold of you, Miss Mitchell," Chloe teased.
"Oh, I'm sorry-" Beca wasn't able to finish her apology as Chloe smashed their lips together.
Beca moaned and wrapped her arms around Chloe's waist. Chloe pulled back, only far enough to turn her head and catch Beca's lips again.
The kiss ended, and Beca whispered, "Wow! If I knew kissing girls was like this, I would have done it a lot sooner."
"I'm the first girl you've kissed?" Chloe asked, surprised.
"Yep," Beca said, tightening her hold on Chloe. "And if I play my cards right, I hope that you are my first for some other stuff."
Chloe laughed when Beca waggled her eyebrows.
"I am unsurprisingly okay with that," Chloe said as she leaned in for another kiss.
Beca ended the kiss and touched her forehead to Chloe's.
"As much as I'd love to continue this," Beca said. "And I would, but why don't we make that cocoa and cuddle together while watching another holiday classic?"
"Just so you know," Chloe said. "There will be more kissing while we cuddle."
"Just so you know," Beca said. "I am unsurprisingly okay with that."
Chloe smiled when she heard nearby church bells ring out.
"It's Midnight," Chloe said. "Merry Christmas, Beca."
"Merry Christmas, Chloe," Beca said, leaning in for another kiss.

25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022
Day 6 - Celebrity Holiday Bake-Off
Prompt from Tumblr User mamapitch: Music producer Beca Mitchell is asked to participate in a Celebrity Christmas baking competition for charity and is randomly paired with actress Chloe Beale.
"Come on, Beca," Theo implored. "Khalid already told them you'd do it."
"But I don't bake," Beca exclaimed.
"That's a lie," Theo said, chuckling. "You may not be able to cook, but we both know you do know how to bake."
"But why me?" Beca whined.
"Because the Food Network execs asked for you," Theo said. "Besides, it's for charity and will be good for your reputation."
Beca stared at Theo; Theo stared back at her with a raised brow.
"Fine," Beca finally said. "How is it even supposed to work?"
"The 'competition' will start with ten competitors," Theo explained. "They are all in the entertainment industry, and you will be randomly matched with another contestant and compete as a team."
"Who did I get matched with?"
"I, um, I don't know yet," Theo said. "I don't think you'll find out until the first day of the competition."
Beca sighed and ran a hand through her hair.
"Anyway," Theo continued. "You will be given a challenge, and you and your partner will work together to make something for that challenge. If you score high enough, you both move to the next round. It goes like that until only two teams are left to compete in the finale. They will be crowned the champions and have $25,000 donated in each of their names to the charity of their choice."
"How long will it take?" Beca asked.
"They request you be available for a week," Theo said. "They will tape one show a day for five days. Plus, add in travel days to New York and back."
"If we lose, do we get to go home?"
"No," Theo said. "They want to have everyone there for the big finale and have asked that each contestant remain in New York until then. That shouldn't be an issue for you; you can work from anywhere."
"When do I have to go?"
"They want you in New York the week after Thanksgiving," Theo said. "They plan to tape the week of October 31 to November 4, so you should plan to fly to New York on October 30 and fly back to LA on November 5."
"Fine," Beca said, running a hand through her hair. "I'll have Dani block off that entire week and make my reservations tomorrow."
"Don't look so down," Theo said. "You might actually enjoy it."
"We'll see," Beca said.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
Beca couldn't stop yawning as she stood waiting to be introduced for the first day of taping. She had arrived in New York late the night before, and her body was still on L.A. time.
"Our next celebrity contestant is a Grammy-winning singer/songwriter/producer and was discovered during a USO Tour with DJ Khalid," the announcer said.
Beca was waved forward, and she was now standing outside the door to enter the competition kitchen area.
"Welcome, our final contestant, Beca Mitchell!"
Beca pushed through the door and saw several other competitors already in the room. She looked around and gave a quick wave as they lightly applauded.
Beca took her place and stood waiting for the questions she was told would be asked of her.
"Welcome, Beca," host Jesse Palmer said.
"Thanks for having me," Beca said. "I have to say I love watching these competitions."
"Hopefully, you've learned something along the way," Jesse said, chuckling.
"Hopefully," Beca said, smiling back at Jesse.
"Is everybody ready to find out who you'll be baking with?" Jesse asked.
"I am," Beca said.
Jesse chuckled as the contestants showed various levels of excitement as they shouted out.
"Yeah!"
"I'm ready!"
"I want Beca," one woman called out, causing Beca to snort a laugh as she looked at the woman.
The woman smiled back at Beca, giving her a salacious wink.
"Oh, my God!" Beca said, laughing again.
"Okay," Jesse said, getting everyone's attention. "In this hat, we have the names of our music celebrities." He holds up a blue knit cap; then he holds up a red knit cap. "And in this one, we have the actors in our group. I need some help, so I'm calling on Santa to draw the names. Santa! Santa, we need you on stage!"
Suddenly, Santa walked through a door from behind Jesse. Beca jumped when the woman standing next to her squealed and clapped.
"Looks like Santa has a fan," Jesse said, laughing as the woman jumped up and down.
Beca was looking at the woman; it was the same woman who said she wanted Beca as her partner. The woman smiled and winked at Beca, causing her to blush slightly and look down at the floor.
Beca zoned out, and a minute or so later, her eyes widened when she saw a pair of Vans come into her sightline. She looked up to find the overly excited redheaded woman standing in front of her.
"Looks like I'm all yours," the woman said with a saucy wink.
"I'm sorry?" Beca said, looking around. "What is happening right now?"
Beca looked around to see the other contestants looking at Jesse. She looked at him as well, hoping to figure out what was happening.
"Okay, contestants," Jesse said. "You have your teammate and your first challenge. As soon as I say go, it's time to start baking."
Beca looked at the woman, who was apparently her teammate, and had no clue who she was.
"Wait," Beca said, looking around. "What's the challenge?"
"Don't worry, partner, I'll fill you in once we get to our station," the redhead said.
"Oh, um, okay," Beca mumbled. "Thanks."
Jesse called out. "Your baking time starts now!
Each of the teams ran back to their stations. The redhead grabbed Beca's hand and pulled her to their station.
"Okay," the woman said, facing Beca. "We have three hours to make three dozen Christmas sandwich cookies."
"Um, okay," Beca stammered and held out her hand. "So, um, I'm Beca. Beca Mitchell. Who are you?"
The woman smiled. "I know who you are," the woman said. "I'm Chloe. Chloe Beale. I'm an actress."
Beca shook Chloe's hand, saying, "Sorry. I know you're an actress, I just didn't know your name."
Chloe smiled as Beca continued to shake her hand. Beca realized she was still holding onto Chloe and released her hand, dropping her hand down to her side.
"So, um, Christmas sandwich cookies? Do you have any ideas on what kind of cookies we should make?"
"Well, the challenge is a sandwich cookie with peppermint and chocolate as the primary Christmas flavors," Chloe said. "And I think we should decorate them."
"Oh, okay," Beca said. She thought for a moment before suggesting, "What if we made a hot cocoa cookie? We can make a chocolate cookie with a marshmallow cream filling with peppermint sprinkles."
"Yum," Chloe said. "That sounds delicious."
"Yeah, it does," Beca said, smiling. "Let's get started."
"Okay," Chloe said. "Could you get the flour and sugar? I'll get the chocolate and marshmallow and some peppermint sticks."
Beca hurried over to get the flour and sugar. She carried the two jars over to their station and set them down.
"Teamwork," Chloe said, winking at Beca as she set down the chocolate and marshmallows. "I like it. It's what's going to separate us from the other teams."
"Are you always so, I don't know, bubbly?" Beca asked, shrugging.
"I'm known for my bubbly nature," Chloe said matter-of-factly as she stood in front of the standing mixer.
"I'll get the oven preheated," Beca said. "And we still need the peppermints."
"Oh shoot, I forgot the peppermint," Chloe said.
"That's okay," Beca said. "I'll get it."
Beca walked over to the candy section and picked up a few peppermint sticks. She was hurrying back to her station when she stumbled and fell, dropping the peppermint sticks and causing them to break into pieces.
"Oh, my gosh!" Chloe exclaimed, running over to Beca. "Are you okay?"
"Beca," Jesse called out as he and a few stagehands rushed over as well. "Are you okay?"
Beca blushed as both Jesse and Chloe helped her up.
"I'm fine," Beca said as she got to her feet and looked down at the floor. "The peppermint didn't fare so well, though."
"You take it easy," Chloe said. "I'll get more."
Two people rushed out with a broom and cleaned up the broken peppermint. The cameras filmed the other contestants to allow Beca time to compose herself.
Chloe brought over some peppermint and checked to make sure Beca was able to continue.
"I'm fine, Chloe," Beca said. "The only thing hurt is my ego. And the peppermints."
Chloe chuckled and pulled Beca into a hug.
"I have a feeling we're going to be the best of friends by the time this is over," Chloe whispered before pulling away from Beca. "Now, let's get to baking."
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
"Five minutes remaining, bakers," Jesse called out. "Let's get those cookies done and plated."
"Do you think we should taste one to make sure they're okay?" Beca asked as they placed the second cookie on top of the peppermint marshmallow filling.
"Yeah," Chloe said, taking a cookie and biting into it. "Mmmmm! These are better than I expected. Try it."
Chloe held the cookie to Beca's lips; Beca pulled her head back. Chloe was undeterred and pressed on. As Beca opened her mouth to protest, Chloe shoved the cookie into Beca's mouth.
"Hey," Beca mumbled and started chewing. "Mmm, wow! This really is good."
"I knew it would be," Chloe said, smirking. "We're definitely going to be the team to beat."
Beca rolled her eyes just as Jesse said, "Time's up, bakers. Step away from your stations."
Beca and Chloe put their hands up and stepped back. The judging began, and the teams each stood before the judges for the taste test.
It was Beca and Chloe's turn, and Beca stood next to Chloe and let her explain their cookie idea. The judges tasted their cookies, and Carla Hall exclaimed, "Dudes!"
Beca chuckled, and Chloe squealed.
"If these were warm, I'd swear I was drinking a cup of hot cocoa," Carla said. "The peppermint marshmallow is amazing, and you have just the right amount of peppermint flavor without it being too overpowering. Great job!"
"Thank you," Beca and Chloe said.
"This is a really good cookie," Duff Goldman said. "I'd say more, but I'd just be repeating what Carla has already said. I will add that you two have definitely set the standard high for the other competitors."
"Thank you," Beca and Chloe said, turning to smile at each other.
Their gazes turned to the third judge, Nancy Fuller. She was smiling and waving her hands as if she was conducting an orchestra.
"Does that mean she likes it?" Beca whispered to Chloe.
"It does," Chloe said, nodding as Nancy began speaking.
"You two definitely know you are in a Holiday Baking Competition!" Nancy said. "And if this is what you can do this early in the contest, I think you might actually win it!"
"That's the plan," Chloe said, chuckling.
"Thank you, ladies," Jesse said.
"Thank you, judges," Chloe said, waving and grabbing Beca's arm as they walked out of the room.
"We got a dude from Carla Hall, and Nancy Fuller thinks we can win it," Chloe gushed as she and Beca went to wait with the other competitors. "This calls for a celebration."
"Maybe we should wait to see if we actually make it to the next challenge," Beca said.
"Oh, we'll make it," Chloe said. "I'm pretty confident about it."
"I hate to sound overly confident," Beca said. "But you might be right."
"I know I'm right," Chloe said confidently. "Care to have dinner with me tonight to celebrate?"
"Um," Beca mumbled. "If we make it to the next round, we'll go out to dinner and celebrate."
"Great," Chloe said. "We can talk about it on the way back to the hotel."
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
Beca and Chloe made it to the next round, and their cookies were voted best of the day by the judges.
Beca met Chloe in the hotel's restaurant and was surprised at how much she enjoyed Chloe's company. She found herself smiling and laughing throughout the meal. She also found herself staring a couple of times; Chloe was very pretty.
By the time dessert was served, Beca had learned quite a bit about Chloe. She learned that Chloe was discovered by a talent scout while still in High School and had come out as bi to her parents and friends when she was eighteen. She tucked that little tidbit away for later.
"And I'll be living in New York," Chloe said.
"What?" Beca asked, having zoned out for a moment and missing what Chloe had been talking about.
"I'll be living in New York," Chloe repeated. Seeing Beca's confusion, she repeated, "My new TV show will tape here, so I'll be moving here while we tape. It beats having to fly back and forth between here and LA every week."
Beca frowned at this news. She had hoped to ask Chloe out on a real date when they went back to LA. But it looked like Chloe wouldn't be in LA.
"That sounds like. . .fun," Beca said, looking at her phone. "It's getting late. I should get back to my room. I have some work I need to do before I go to bed."
"Oh, um, okay," Chloe said, frowning at the sudden change in Beca's demeanor.
Beca walked Chloe out to the elevators. Chloe leaned against the wall while Beca stood facing the doors.
"Is everything okay?" Chloe asked, watching Beca.
"What?" Beca said, looking over her shoulder at Chloe. "Yeah, everything's fine. I just have a lot of work. My bosses figure I can work from anywhere, so being here should be no exception."
The elevator dinged as it reached Beca's floor.
"This is me," Beca said, hurrying off the elevator.
"Goodnight, Beca," Chloe said and sighed heavily as the doors closed.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
Even after working until two in the morning, Beca was up early, dressed, and out of the hotel by seven. She grabbed a coffee from one of the street vendors and hailed a taxi.
Beca knew she was being silly, but she couldn't get Chloe and the fact she would be moving to New York out of her mind.
Chloe woke to her alarm about the time Beca arrived at the studio. She sighed and slowly made her way out of bed. Once she was showered and dressed, she made her way down to the restaurant to get something for breakfast.
Chloe looked around, hoping to see Beca having breakfast. Her shoulders slumped when she didn't see her.
"Maybe I'll just get something from the crafts table at the studio," Chloe mumbled as she turned and left the hotel.
Chloe went to the crafts table; she smiled when she saw Beca talking to Jesse. She walked over and stood to the side so they could finish their conversation with some privacy.
"Are you sure?" Jesse asked. "That was quite a tumble you took yesterday."
"Yeah," Beca said. "I'm good. I swear."
Jesse patted her on the shoulder and walked away. Chloe moved, so she was in front of Beca.
"I looked for you this morning," Chloe said. "But you had already left the hotel."
"Yeah," Beca said, looking down at the floor. "I was awake early and was afraid if I stayed, I'd, um, go back to sleep."
"Hmm," Chloe said, looking over the food selection.
"I highly recommend the spinach quiche," Beca said, pointing it out to Chloe.
"Thanks," Chloe said as she grabbed a bowl of fruit.
Beca felt bad about how she treated Chloe after dinner the night before, so she grabbed a cup of coffee and stayed close while Chloe ate. The silence was killing Beca, but she didn't know what to say to Chloe, so she didn't say anything at all.
"Okay, competitors," Jesse called out. "Let's get things started."
The Beca/Chloe team threw away their trash and followed the other competitors onto the stage and into position. They stood waiting for Jesse to tell them what the challenge was for today. Beca noticed Chloe was paying very close attention to everything Jesse was saying. Beca was too busy trying to subtly look at Chloe, but she did manage to hear what the challenge was.
"And your time starts," Jesse said, pausing for dramatic effect. "Now!"
Beca hurried after Chloe and stopped at their station.
"So, I'm thinking the cookie representing me should be a star," Chloe said, getting down to business. "I can decorate it to look like a Hollywood Walk of Fame star."
Beca smiled and looked at Chloe. "I like that idea."
"What cookie do you want to make to represent you?"
"Um, a musical note?" Beca said.
"I have a feeling every musician here is going to do a musical note of some kind," Chloe said. "Or a CD because it's simple. We need to go bolder with you."
"Bolder, huh?" Beca said, taking Chloe's arm. "Come with me."
Beca stopped in front of the display of cookie cutters and looks at them. One, in particular, catches her eye, and she takes it down. She examines it and crinkles her nose while she thinks.
"What are you thinking?" Chloe asked, trying not to smile at how cute Beca looked; she was still a bit mad at her after all.
"This is supposed to be a rainbow," Beca said, showing Chloe. "What if we use it to cut out the cookie, then we sort of bend it in the middle so it doesn't have such an arc? We can cut this side of the cloud off and bake them. Then we can pipe on the icing to make them look like headphones. I use them all the time whether I'm singing or producing."
Chloe smiled, and her eyes lit up. "That's genius!"
"Really?" Beca asked, excited to see Chloe excited about her idea. "Let's get started."
"Since our must-use ingredient is orange, I think we should do a basic cookie," Chloe suggested as they walked back over to their station. "We can add the orange flavoring into the icing."
"That sounds, um, good," Beca said, nodding her head. "But safe. I think we should add the orange to the cookie dough as well. That way, we'll have the orange flavor profile in both the cookie and the icing."
"Look at you talking about flavor profiles," Chloe said, bumping Beca's shoulder.
Beca blushed and smiled.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
Beca and Chloe didn't win the best cookie of the day, but they did make it to the next round. The judges loved their cookie ideas and thought they represented each of them perfectly. The biggest critique was Beca's piping work on her headphone cookies; the judges felt it wasn't "clean" and needed some work.
Chloe was disappointed they didn't win for best cookie again but didn't put any blame on Beca for it. Beca, on the other hand, blamed herself and sulked all the way back to the hotel.
The teammates rode the elevator to their respective floors. Chloe didn't get a chance to say anything as Beca stood in front of the doors, staring down at the floor. Chloe found herself alone when Beca hurried off the elevator as soon as the doors opened.
A short time later, Beca was still angry with herself and decided to order room service for dinner.
Chloe was going to stop by Beca's room to see if she wanted to have dinner together but didn't know Beca's room number. She called the front desk and asked for Beca's room number, but they wouldn't give it to her for "guest privacy" reasons.
Feeling a bit dejected, Chloe went to the hotel's restaurant, hoping to find Beca there. She was even more disappointed when Beca wasn't there. Several of the other competitors were there, and she ended up having dinner with a small group of them.
Early the next morning, Beca hurriedly dressed and rushed to the studio again. She found Jesse and asked if she could use a station to practice her piping; he said it wasn't against the rules, so she should go for it.
Beca didn't want to disappoint Chloe again, so she practiced until other competitors started showing up. She cleaned the station and waited for Chloe.
Chloe walked on set and saw Beca standing at their station. She stomped over to Beca with fire in her eyes.
"Are you avoiding me?" Chloe blurted as soon as she was standing in front of Beca. "Did I do something to upset you?"
"What?" Beca asked, looking around. "No. Why would you ask that?"
Chloe huffed and turned her back on Beca. The competitors were called to the set, and Jesse stood waiting for them. He went through the challenge for the day; the competitors had to grab a bag from the back to find out what plain pie they would have to transform and make into a holiday pie. Beca didn't have a clue what that meant but figured Chloe did, so she wasn't too worried.
Beca should have been worried. Chloe was still upset with her and offered no help regarding what to do about transforming a strawberry pie into a holiday pie. Beca started gathering ingredients for the pie crust as well as strawberries and sugar for the filling.
Chloe stood by and watched. When Beca heard Chloe huff at something she did, she had enough. She threw down the measuring spoons and looked at Chloe.
"You must not be a very good actress," Beca said with a snort, causing a small gasp from Chloe. "If you were, you would be better at pretending to be a contestant in a baking competition."
"How dare you?" Chloe said. "I am a good actress and have the awards to prove it."
Beca laughed. "Fine; you're a good actress. Now show me how good a baker you are, and help me transform a strawberry pie into a festive holiday pie. And, put your acting chops to work and pretend you at least enjoy my company."
"I am a good baker, and this pie will be amazing," Chloe said. "As for enjoying your company, even I'm not a good enough actress to pull that off."
Beca chuckled as she went back to measuring out the pie crust ingredients.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
After the judging, Beca couldn't erase the smirk from her face. Getting Chloe fired up was rewarding as she and Chloe not only made it to the next round but were also awarded the best pie of the day. Beca also learned that a fired-up Chloe was hot; very hot!
When the competitors were let go for the evening, Beca looked for Chloe so they could head back to the hotel together. Beca even had hopes of getting Chloe to join her for dinner again.
Beca frowned when she realized Chloe had left with some of the other competitors. She made her way to a car and went to the hotel alone.
Beca was sitting in her room, working, when her stomach rumbled from hunger. She ignored her hunger pangs and continued working on the track she had started. Well, she would have if she could stop thinking about Chloe. All she could see was Chloe's face smiling at her when they stood before the judges. After the judging, Beca wanted to speak to Chloe so she could apologize for the way she had been acting toward her, but Chloe had rushed off before she got the chance.
"I should go to her room and apologize," Beca mumbled to her empty room. "I really like her and hope we can be friends. If she wasn't moving to New York, maybe we could be something more."
Beca threw her headphones onto the bed and got up. She went to the door and opened it; she stopped when she realized she had no idea what room Chloe was in.
"I'll go down to the front desk and ask them," Beca thought.
Beca rushed out of her room and to the elevator. She burst out of the elevator as soon as the doors opened on the ground level and ran into someone. She reached out to keep the other person from falling.
"Beca?" Chloe said.
"Chloe?" Beca said.
"Are you okay?" they asked simultaneously.
"I'm fine," Chloe said. "Where were you going in such a hurry?"
"I know you won't believe this," Beca said. "But, I was going to the front desk to find out what room you were in. I'd like to talk to you if you have a minute. Privately."
"Um, okay," Chloe said. "Want to come to my room? Or we can go to yours."
"Let's go to my room," Beca said as she hit the elevator call button.
Chloe nodded and stood with Beca, waiting for the elevator. Beca waved Chloe into the elevator, stepping in behind her. Beca hit the button for her floor and leaned against the sidewall. Chloe stood across from Beca, chewing on her lip. She couldn't take the silence and cleared her throat, causing Beca to look at her. Before Chloe could say anything, the elevator came to a stop, and Beca led Chloe to her room. Beca opened the door and waved Chloe inside. Chloe turned to Beca.
"So, what did you want to talk to me about? Are you going to explain why you've been so angry with me and avoiding me?"
"I wanted to apologize for all that," Beca said. "To be honest, I wasn't angry at you, I was angry at myself and took it out on you."
"Why?"
"Um," Beca said. "I liked you. I mean, I like you. I realized it when we had dinner after the first day of the competition. I convinced myself that we would be good together and even had all these scenarios going on in my head where we started dating when we got back to LA. Then you started talking about moving to New York, and I thought-." Beca sighed and ran a hand through her hair. "I don't know what I was thinking. It just seemed like I finally meet someone amazing, who I felt a connection with, and she's going to be living across the country. I had myself believing that you didn't like me like that and wrote us off as being anything more than acquaintances after the competition was over, and that bothered me, so I was a dick to you. I'm sorry for that."
Chloe stood looking at Beca with her arms crossed. Beca started getting fidgety as Chloe stared at her, not saying anything.
"I do like you like that," Chloe finally said, causing Beca to let out the breath she had been holding. "That's why it hurt so much when you ended our dinner so abruptly and then avoided me the next day."
"I'm sorry," Beca said. "Can we maybe start over? Maybe be friends."
"I'd like that," Chloe said, stepping toward Beca. "But there is something I'd like even better."
"Um, oh," Beca said, her throat suddenly dry. "What, um. What would you like better?"
"I'd like it if you asked me out," Chloe said, stepping closer.
Chloe was now standing nose-to-nose with Beca. Beca cleared her throat and took a step back.
"I, um, I can do that," Beca said.
"Then do it," Chloe said, wrapping her hand around Beca's neck and pulling her into a kiss.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
Six weeks later, on Christmas Eve, Beca was sitting on her sofa waiting for the finale of the Celebrity Christmas Bake-off to air. She was startled by a knock on her door. It wasn't that late, but it was later than she was used to having someone drop by.
Beca opened the door and was startled when the person standing there yelled, "Surprise!"
"Chloe!" Beca squealed, pulling the woman to her. "What are you doing here? I thought you were going to stay in New York for Christmas."
"I couldn't have my girlfriend celebrate our first Christmas as a couple without me, could I?"
"No, no, you couldn't," Beca said as she captured Chloe's lips in a kiss.
The kiss ended, and Beca smiled. "Care to watch the bake-off finale with me?"
"As long as there will be kissing while we watch," Chloe said.
"It's a deal!" Beca said, closing the door as she took Chloe's hand and led her inside.

25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022
Day 3 - One Night Only
A/N: In order to keep a little mystery, the full prompt from FanFiction User RJRMovieFan will be listed at the end of the story. Enjoy!
Late September in Tampa was hot and muggy, and Chloe wondered, not for the first time, why she had thought it was a good idea to accept a teaching position close to her parents. She entered her apartment and dropped her keys on the table. She set her bag on the floor and flipped through her mail as she toed off her shoes and left them by the door.
"Bill, bill, bill," Chloe mumbled, sighing as she looked at each envelope. "I need a drink."
Chloe walked to the kitchen, dropping her mail on the coffee table as she passed by. She poured herself a glass of iced tea. As she took a sip, her phone rang.
Chloe pulled her phone out and smiled as she answered.
"Hey, Brey," Chloe said.
"Hey, Chloe," Aubrey said. "I've got some big news."
"What is it?" Chloe asked with enthusiasm.
"I'm planning a Bellas reunion," Aubrey replied. "And we'll be spending Christmas and New Year's in New York! Isn't that exciting?"
"It sounds very exciting," Chloe said. "But, won't it be expensive to go to New York at Christmastime?"
"Chloe, it's been five years since we won the ICCAs," Aubrey said. "And two since we've seen everyone in person. Besides, my parents have agreed to help cover all our costs for the trip. Airfare, lodging, tickets to a holiday show or two."
"Wow," Chloe said. "That's very generous of them. How did you manage that?"
"They're going on a cruise for Christmas, and my brother and I are not invited," Aubrey said. "So, they were going to give us both a guilt gift of an indecent amount of cash so we could go wherever we want to celebrate Christmas. I asked that, instead of giving me cash, they help with the cost of getting the Bellas together in person for the first time in two years. They agreed, and here we are."
"It will be nice to see all the girls again," Chloe said, trying to mentally calculate how much the trip would cost her.
"Before you say no," Aubrey interrupted. "You'll be on Christmas break, so you can't use work as an excuse not to come."
"Okay," Chloe said. "I'll have to do some creative budgeting, but I think I can swing it."
"You only need to save enough money for incidentals," Aubrey said. "As I said, everything will be covered. You can have your own room if you want. Or we can be roommates again!"
"That will make things a lot easier for me," Chloe said as relief washed over her.
"Good, because I already put you down as a yes," Aubrey said. "I've also received yeses from everyone except Cynthia Rose. She's in the Air Force and will have to submit a request for leave. Hopefully, it will be approved; she's supposed to let me know as soon as she knows."
"Were you able to find Beca?" Chloe asked softly.
"Why would I even look for her?" Aubrey huffed. "She walked away from us and never looked back."
"She walked away because you said she wasn't a Bella," Chloe retorted. "You seem to forget it was because of Beca that we got into the finals."
"The other team had a High School kid as their soloist and were disqualified," Aubrey said. "That's why we got into the finals. I wish you'd get over this obsession you have with that, that-."
"That, what?" Chloe asked, her voice rising.
"Never mind," Aubrey said. "I don't want to talk about her or argue with you about her."
Chloe heard Aubrey sigh through the phone.
"I'm going to try and coordinate everything so that those of us flying in can arrive on the same day at around the same time. I'll email you with your info once I get the itineraries together, okay?"
"That's fine," Chloe said. "I have to go. Bye, Brey."
Chloe ended the call and dropped her phone on the counter. She hated that every time she brought up Beca's name, Aubrey would dismiss it like Beca meant nothing to her. Chloe ran a hand through her hair and sighed.
"I wish she'd understand how much Beca still means to me," Chloe mumbled.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
Later that night, while lying in bed, Chloe couldn't help thinking about Beca and the last time she saw her.
"I told you she wasn't a Bella," Aubrey said, glaring at Beca.
"Brey, don't," Chloe implored.
"No," Beca said, looking at Chloe. "You don't have to pretend like you get to have a say in the group."
Aubrey scoffed; Chloe's feelings were hurt, and the rest of the Bellas didn't know what to do.
"If this is what I get for trying," Beca said, then turned and walked away.
Chloe sighed and turned on her side. She had tried to call and text Beca after that, but Beca never responded.
When she saw that Aubrey did not include Beca in the text sent to notify the Bellas that they were going to the ICCA Finals, Chloe forwarded it to Beca, asking, no, begging her to come to the rehearsal. Again, Beca did not respond, nor did she show up to rehearsal.
After the debacle of the first rehearsal, Chloe took the USB with a bunch of mixes Beca had put together to the next rehearsal and asked Aubrey to listen to it. Beca had given it to her the week before Beca left; Chloe thought it best not to tell Aubrey it was Beca's work, so she didn't.
The rest of the Bellas were excited to try something new and pushed Aubrey to give Chloe's set list a chance. With the threat of a full mutiny on her hands, Aubrey had no choice but to listen.
Aubrey and the girls loved it; Aubrey had to admit that Chloe had come up with a great set that showcased all the girls' talents. Chloe did not correct the assumption that she was responsible for creating the setlist.
The Bellas won the ICCAs, and, to this day, Chloe had never told anyone that the set was something Beca had created.
Chloe rolled over onto her back.
"I wish I had gone after Beca and told her how much she meant to me," Chloe whispered into the darkness of her empty bedroom, wiping a tear from her eye. "And maybe she'd be here with me now."
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
Chloe spent the next three months counting down the days until her trip to New York. She also spent most of those days thinking about Beca Mitchell and what had become of her. Beca's departure left Chloe with so many questions.
Had Beca gone to L.A. as she had often mentioned wanting to do?
Did Beca ever think about Chloe or her time at Barden?
Or did Beca walk away and forget about all of them? Including Chloe?
It was finally the day she was to leave for New York. Chloe was all smiles as she zipped her carry-on bag and lifted it off the bed. She was excited to see her Bella sisters and practically floated to the front door of her apartment with her bags in tow.
She walked out of her apartment, ensuring that both locks were secure before making her way to the elevator.
The flight to New York was uneventful. And once the plane landed, Chloe waited until the aisle was clear before standing and grabbing her carry-on bag. She exited the plane and followed the crowd to the baggage area to retrieve her larger suitcase.
Chloe looked around as she stepped off the escalator. She looked to her right and saw Aubrey and Stacie. Chloe was all smiles as she walked over to them.
"Brey!" Chloe said, pulling her into a hug. "It's good to see you!"
"It's good to see you, too, Chloe," Aubrey said.
Stacie waited until Aubrey and Chloe let go of each other and pulled Chloe into a hug.
"Looking good, Beale," Stacie said, looking Chloe up and down as she pulled out of the hug.
"Thanks, Stacie," Chloe said. "You're not looking so bad yourself."
"Let's get your bags," Aubrey said. "Cynthia Rose and Denise should be landing soon."
"What about Fat Amy, Jessica, and Ashley?" Chloe asked.
"Fat Amy was flying in last night," Aubrey said. "And Jessica and Ashley are driving up from Pennsylvania together. They should all be at the hotel when we get there."
"And, what about Lily?" Chloe asked as they waited for her bag.
"She lives here in New York and is staying at the hotel with us," Aubrey said. "She texted earlier that she was there."
Not too long after Chloe had retrieved her luggage, Cynthia Rose and Denise found them. After more greetings and hugs, they followed Aubrey to the van she had rented for their stay. Chloe smiled and sat back, listening as Cynthia Rose and Denise talked of their upcoming wedding. She laughed with the others when Stacie regaled them with the story of the Hunter's most recent conquest, which involved her joining the Mile High Club earlier that day.
It wasn't long after that they arrived at their hotel.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
After Chloe finished unpacking, she went down to the lobby to wait for the girls. She saw Jessica and Ashley already waiting. As she walked over to them, she noticed they were looking at the itinerary Aubrey had left for them.
"I can't wait to see this," Ashley said, pointing at the itinerary in Jessica's hand.
"Can't wait to see what?" Chloe asked as she sat down.
"DJ Titanium Blue," Ashley said.
"What do you know about DJ Titanium Blue, Chloe?" Jessica asked.
"I'm excited to see them," Ashley said.
"I've only read about them," Chloe said. "They're really big on the West Coast."
"I've heard some of their music and think it's great, so it should be a good show," Jessica said. "I love the air of mystery about them."
"Yeah," Ashley said. "They always wear a mask, and so far, no one has been able to discover who they are. Most people have guessed they're a woman because of their body, but no one has come out to confirm or deny whether that's true."
"I'm looking forward to seeing them," Chloe said.
"Excuse me," a woman interrupted. "Are you Chloe Beale?"
"I am," Chloe said.
"This is for you," the woman said, handing Chloe a folded note.
"Thank you," Chloe said as the woman walked away.
"Hey, girls," Stacie said. "Who was that?"
"I don't know," Chloe said. "She just handed me this note and left."
"Who's it from?" Ashley asked.
"Let's go, ladies," Aubrey called out as she and the remaining Bellas hurried toward the hotel exit. "We're going to be late for our reservation."
Chloe stuck the note in her purse without reading it and rushed after Aubrey.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
The girls had ended the night in the hotel bar, and Chloe was drunk when she came back to her room. Sadly, being drunk did not stop her inner alarm clock from waking her at six the next morning.
Chloe groaned when she checked the time on her phone.
"I need coffee," Chloe mumbled as she reached for the day's itinerary. "Breakfast isn't scheduled until nine; I can't wait that long."
Chloe showered and dressed. She grabbed her small backpack and started transferring the things she needed for the day from her purse.
"I forgot about this," Chloe mumbled as she pulled out the note from the night before.
She unfolded the note and read it. There had been a signature, but something wet had made it unreadable; Chloe wasn't sure how that happened.
Chloe shrugged as she read the note one more time, saw it was almost seven, and thought, "why not?" So, she grabbed her coat and left her room.
Chloe entered the coffee shop and looked around to see if she saw anyone she recognized.
"Hey, Chloe," a voice Chloe recognized said from behind her.
"Beca?"
Chloe turned around and saw a very nervous-looking Beca Mitchell standing there.
"Oh, my God!" Chloe squealed, grabbing Beca to her. "Beca!"
"Hey," Beca said, wrapping her arms around Chloe.
Chloe pulled back from Beca and smiled.
"What are you doing here?" Chloe asked.
"You act as if you didn't know I was going to be here," Beca said. "I know you got my note."
"I did," Chloe said, chuckling. "Only when I finally read it, your signature had somehow gotten wet and was unreadable."
"You didn't know who you were meeting?" Beca said, chuckling. "And yet you came anyway. That is so you."
"Well, I'm glad I came," Chloe said. "Or I wouldn't have had the chance to see you. Or talk to you, and we definitely need to talk. But I need coffee for that, so let's grab a table."
"Okay," Beca said, following Chloe.
Two hours later, after the two filled the other in on what they had been up to for the past five years, Beca made a small confession.
"I have a confession to make," Beca said. "I had a huge crush on you back then. I may have even fallen in love with you a bit."
"What?!" Chloe said, chuckling. "I had a huge crush on you, too. And I'm not just saying that because you said it."
"I have something else to admit," Beca said, only to be interrupted when Chloe's phone pinged with a text notification.
"Hold that thought," Chloe said, holding her finger to stop Beca.
Beca sat back with a small smile and watched Chloe.
"Oh, shoot, I have to go," Chloe said after reading the text. "I'm supposed to be at breakfast with the girls." Chloe's face lit up with excitement as she exclaimed, "You should come with me! I'm sure the girls would love to see you."
"I doubt that's true," Beca mumbled.
"Why wouldn't it be true?" Chloe asked.
"I'm pretty sure Posen wants to kill me," Beca said.
"No, she doesn't," Chloe said.
"I say we'll have to agree to disagree on that," Beca said. "I would love to continue this, especially the part about your crush on me." Chloe scoffed but smiled at Beca. "Would you want to meet up again? I have an event I can't get out of tonight, and it will be really late when I'm done. If you're up for it, maybe we can have drinks or something after? I would really love to see you again."
"We're attending a concert tonight, and it will also be late when it's over," Chloe said, chewing on her lip before adding, "I'd love to meet you after."
"Great," Beca said, smiling "It's a date."
They gathered their belongings and walked over to the hotel together. To Choe's surprise, Beca hugged her and then went toward the elevators. Chloe watched her leave before going into the hotel's restaurant to meet the Bellas.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
Later that night, after a quick dinner in the hotel's restaurant, the Bellas made their way to the large ballroom for the concert. Chloe stared at the sign announcing DJ Titanium Blue in concert for One Night Only.
"What made you get us in to see this show?" Chloe asked Aubrey as they waited to enter.
"I heard that DJ Titanium Blue does some acapella as part of their set," Aubrey said, looking around to make sure no one else was paying attention to them. "And the DJ will sometimes pull people from the audience to be a part of the show. And my mother knows someone who knows someone who works with them. She may or may not have reached out to see if the Bellas can be in the show."
"We're going to be in the show?" Fat Amy asked.
"I don't know," Aubrey replied honestly. "We could be, but there is no guarantee that we will be."
"This is so exciting," Jessica gushed.
"It would be nice if we get picked," Chloe said, trying to contain her excitement. "It's been a while since we sang together."
Everyone started talking at once, only quieting when they reached the front of the line. Aubrey gave her name, and they were led to a table near the stage.
The girls sat and looked around. The room was set up with large tables scattered about; each table sat at least 10 people. The seats and tables were close to each other but not so close that you felt as if you were sitting on top of each other. There were easily 250 seats in total, and every seat had a great view of the stage.
A waitress came around, and they ordered drinks. A few minutes later, the room's lights went out, and spotlights swept back and forth across the stage. This went on for a few seconds before the spotlights became one light shining toward the back of the stage where "smoke" billowed about. Suddenly, drums started playing a steady beat, and DJ Titanium Blue rose out of the smoke to stand on a riser under the spotlight, their arms raised as if in triumph.
The crowd cheered when the DJ came into sight. And it was quite a sight as the DJ was dressed all in blue. A dark blue leather jacket and blue skinny jeans with combat boots that matched the jacket in color. But the most impressive piece of blue they wore was their mask. It covered their head and their face and was a bright sky blue with dark blue lips painted on.
The DJ lowered her arms, and the audience quieted.
"That was quite an entrance," Jessica said.
"Shh," Ashley said as DJ Titanium Blue started to speak.
"Good evening, everyone," a robotic voice came over the speakers. "I am DJ Titanium Blue, and I want to thank you all for being here for my One Night Only performance." The crowd cheered. "Many of you don't know this, but you are about to witness my final performance as DJ Titanium Blue."
A few boos and nos were shouted from the audience.
DJ Titanium Blue shook their head and said, "I know, I know. But I've been doing this for almost five years, and it is time for me to move on to other things. That being said, I am happy to report that I signed with a record company and will be putting out my first solo album after the New Year."
The crowd started cheering, and a few 'we love yous' were shouted.
"I love you, too," DJ Titanium Blue said, chuckling. "And, since it's Christmas, I have a few surprises for you."
More cheers and screams. DJ Titanium Blue brings her arms up and quiets the audience.
"As I'm sure many of you are aware, I have a segment of my show where I do an acapella set. Tonight, I'm going to start off with that because in our audience are the members of the 2015 National collegiate acapella championship team, the Barden Bellas, and I'm hoping we can convince them to join me on stage and perform for you."
The Bellas all gasp, and the audience starts cheering.
"Bellas, Bellas, Bellas," DJ Titanium Blue chants, causing the audience to pick it up and start chanting as well.
The Bellas stand, and a guy rushes over to them.
"Bellas, follow me, please," the guy said.
"Come on, girls," Aubrey said, smiling. "It looks like we do get to sing."
The girls follow the young man to the stage. Once the Bellas are onstage, they are each handed a microphone.
"Ladies and gentlemen," DJ Titanium Blue says. "Give it up for the 2012 National Collegiate Acapella Champions, the Barden Bellllaaaasssss!"
The crowd cheers, and the girls smile and look around as DJ Titanium Blue walks over to them. The DJ stops in front of the Bellas and turns to look out over the audience.
"Are you ready to be amazed?" the DJ screams out to the audience.
"What are we going to sing?" Aubrey asked from behind the DJ.
"I think you'll know it when you hear it," the DJ tells her and starts making a beat with their mouth.
The Bellas were shocked as they recognize the song; it was the first song from their winning ICCAs Finals set. They can't help but wonder how the DJ knew how the set started. They don't ponder for long and go into full Bellas performance mode and join the DJ in "making music with their mouths."
DJ Titanium Blue sings and dances with the girls and doesn't miss a step or a beat.
The crowd yells and cheers. A few whistles can be heard. The Bellas are working it as if they are trying to win the ICCAs again.
When the set ends, the crowd erupts and gives them a standing ovation. When the crowd quiets down, DJ Titanium Blue looks at the Bellas and, waving a hand at them, says, "Take a bow, ladies."
They do, and the crowd goes wild again.
"That was amazing, wasn't it?" DJ Titanium Blue says to more cheering and applause.
DJ Titanium Blue gets the audience to quiet down again and looks out at them.
"I know the Bellas are surprised to be up here," DJ Titanium Blue said. "But I have an even bigger surprise for them. And for you."
Everyone cheers, and the Bellas look around with furrowed brows. They have no idea what is going to happen next.
"Don't go away, I'll be right back," DJ Titanium Blue said as she walked to the side of the darkened stage, out of the spotlight and out of sight of the Bellas.
"Over the years, there has been a lot of speculation over who I am," DJ Titanium Blue's voice came through the speakers. "Well, tonight, you're going to find out."
"We love you, DJ!" a lone voice calls out as the crowd erupted in more applause and cheers.
"Are you ready?" DJ Titanium Blue asked.
A sudden hush falls over the crowd as people crane their necks to see DJ Titanium Blue. There is an audible gasp from the Bellas when DJ Titanium Blue steps back onto the stage, sans their mask and leather jacket and holding a microphone.
"Beca?" a few of the Bellas say as they all stare at the former Bella.
"Oh, my God," Aubrey said as she dropped her microphone.
The feedback when the mic hit the floor caused many to wince, including Beca, who looked over at her with a smirk. Beca turns to face the audience.
"Hi, everyone, I'm Beca Mitchell," Beca said, with a small wave at the crowd. "Formerly known as DJ Titanium Blue."
The crowd erupts in cheers again. Chloe breaks from the Bellas and rushes over to Beca, pulling her into a hug. Aubrey and the other Bellas rush over and join the hug.
"I love you," Chloe said, but Beca can't hear her over the yells and whistles of the crowd.
The girls pull back from the hug and look at Beca.
"Can you guys wait for me to finish, and we can talk?" Beca asked.
"Yes," Chloe says immediately, as the others nod in agreement.
"Thanks," Beca said as the girls made their way off the stage and back to their table.
Beca looks out over the audience again.
"You all have been amazing," Beca said. "I hope you enjoy the rest of the concert as I sing a few songs from my upcoming album. I call it Beca Mitchell - Unmasked."
The crowd cheers as Beca goes to the center of the stage. Her band comes out and takes their places. Beca starts and gives the crowd an hour of music and banter. Her first solo concert is quite a success.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
After the concert, Beca invited the Bellas to her suite for drinks. They agree and are sitting around Beca's suite.
"So, after you left Barden, you became DJ Titanium Blue?" Fat Amy said, waving around her drink.
"Sort of," Beca said. "I went to L.A. and tried to get a producer position but had no luck. I needed money, so I started DJing. One night, a man came up to me and asked if I wanted to make more money. Of course, I said yes. The next thing I know, DJ Titanium Blue was playing all the best clubs on the West Coast. I came East a few times to play, but my heart was in L.A."
"How did you keep your identity a secret for so long?" Ashley asked.
"There were only three people who knew who I really was," Beca said. "The outfit my manager had made for me had people guessing whether I was a man or a woman." Beca chuckled as she got up for another drink. "It was fun to read what people said about why they thought I was a man. Or a woman."
"I saw a snippet of you doing your DJ Titanium Blue thing on TMZ," Stacie said. "I knew right away you were a woman. I mean, what man has an ass like that?" Stacie waved over at Beca's backside; Beca blushed and quickly turned to face the girls. "And boobs like that?"
Beca blushed again and crossed her arms over her chest as everyone laughed.
"Leave her alone, Stacie," Chloe said. "I think she looks sexy as DJ Titanium Blue. And, even sexier as Beca Mitchell."
"Of course you do," Jessica said as everyone snickered.
"In all seriousness," Beca said. "I owe you all an apology. I should never have just walked away. It's just." Beca ran a hand through her hair. "I was hurt when Aubrey said I wasn't a Bella."
"You will always be a Bella to us," Chloe said, wrapping an arm around Beca's shoulders.
"I'm sorry," Aubrey said. "I should never have said that. I was just angry because I thought our chances of winning the ICCAs were over. It was so much easier to blame you than to come to terms with the fact that I wasn't a very good leader and our set list sucked."
"There is no one person to blame," Denise said. "Beca tried to get you to change things up, but we didn't have her back. We all should have said something. If we had, maybe we could have made the changes like we did when Chloe gave us that set list she put together."
Beca's head snapped up, and she looked at Chloe. Chloe shrugged and smiled.
"Actually," Chloe said. "I didn't make up that set list, Beca did. I just let you think I did."
"Why would you do that?" Aubrey asked.
"Because I knew if you knew that Beca had made it, you would never have listened to it," Chloe said. "And we really needed you to listen to it with an open mind."
"Wow," was all Aubrey could think to say.
Beca cleared her throat and said, "So, um, I'd like to propose a toast."
Beca raised her glass and looked around the room. The girls raised their glasses as well.
"To reconnecting," Beca said. "And being friends again."
"Hear, hear," the Bellas call out as they drank.
"I can't believe it's almost three," CR said, yawning. "It's been quite the night."
"We should probably get going," Aubrey said, standing. "We have reservations for a Christmas brunch at eleven." She turned to Beca. "You should join us, Beca. It truly will be a Bellas reunion now that we are all back together."
"I'd love to," Beca said, grinning. "Thank you."
"Great," Aubrey said. "We'll be meeting in the lobby at ten. See you then."
"Goodnight, Beca," the girls said as they followed Aubrey to the door.
"Um," Chloe said as Aubrey opened the door. "I'm going to stay for just a bit to talk to Beca."
"Talk?" Stacie said, snickering. "Is that what you're calling it now?"
Beca blushed, and Chloe chuckled.
"We'll see you girls in the morning," Chloe said as they left.
After the last Bella exited, Chloe closed the door and locked it. Beca looked at her with raised eyebrows.
"Merry Christmas, Beca," Chloe said, pulling Beca into a heated kiss.
Beca returned the kiss with as much fervor as Chloe. The kiss ended when breathing became an issue.
"Merry Christmas, indeed," Beca said, pushing Chloe up against the door and crashing their lips together in another equally heated kiss.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Full prompt from RJRMovieFan: Beca left Barden during her Freshman year after the blowup at the semifinals. She becomes a world-famous DeeJay but keeps her identity a mystery. Chloe is heartbroken Beca left but uses a USB stick Beca had given her to convince Aubrey to change their set for the finals, and the Bellas win. Five years later, the Bellas reunite for a reunion of their win, and Chloe runs into Beca at the resort the Bellas are staying at. Beca is there for a Holiday performance. [I changed it up just a bit, but I think I hit on everything you asked for.]
A/N: So this took on a life of its own and is longer than I had envisioned when I started writing. I hope you like what I did with it.

25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022
DAY 1 - My Middle Name is What?
Summary: While helping to look for Christmas decorations, Beca and Chloe's 5-year-old daughter, Sarah, finds her birth certificate showing her unusual middle name. Beca and Chloe then have to explain how they came up with the middle name for her.
"Chlo?!" Beca called down from the attic. "Where did you put the stockings? I can't find them."
"They're in a box in the back left corner," Chloe yelled back. "Next to the old trunk that belonged to my grandpa."
"Okay," Beca said. "Thanks!"
Beca went to the area of the attic where Chloe said she could find the stockings. She moved a few things and found them.
"Aha!" Beca cried out in triumph.
"What's this?" Sarah asked, startling Beca, who had forgotten Sarah had been helping her look for the decorations.
"What's what?" Beca asked, still holding a hand to her chest
"This," Sarah said, pointing to the trunk
"Oh, that," Beca said. "That's an old trunk that used to belong to your great-grandfather. Mommy's grandfather."
"Did I ever meet him?"
"No, baby," Beca said sadly. "He died before you were born."
"Can I see what's in there?" Sarah asked.
"Why?" Beca asked.
"There might be something fun in there," Sarah said, shrugging. "And, maybe I'll learn something about my great-grandfather."
"We'll have to check with mommy," Beca said. "It's technically her property."
"Beca! Sarah!" Chloe's voice rang out. "Dinner's ready!"
"Okay," Sarah said. "I'll ask mommy at dinner if we can look in there."
"Fine," Beca said, standing and grabbing the stockings. "Let's get washed up for dinner."
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
Chloe had agreed they would let Sarah check out the trunk. They had been so busy getting ready for Christmas that it slipped their minds. It was now Christmas Eve, and Sarah had begged to look in the trunk. That is why Chloe was now standing with Beca and Sarah, looking down at the trunk. Sarah was excited to see what treasures she might find inside.
"I haven't looked inside this thing in years," Chloe said as she knelt to open the trunk.
The hinges creaked, and dust flew around as Chloe lifted the lid.
"Oh, wow," Chloe said, coughing as she waved the dust away from her face.
"Can I see?" Sarah asked, trying to see past her mother.
"I'll hold the lid open," Beca said as she moved behind the trunk and held the lid so she could see over the top.
"Thanks, babe," Chloe said, moving her arm down to grab a book from the trunk. "You'll love this, Sarah. It's a photo album of pictures of mommy's family, including your great-grandfather and great-grandmother."
"Ooo, I wanna see," Sarah said, reaching for the album.
"Wait," Chloe said, holding it away from Sarah. "Let's take it downstairs so we can look at it together."
"Okay," Sarah said, looking in the trunk. "What's this?"
Sarah pulled out an envelope and opened it. She then pulled out a sheet of paper and started reading it.
"Sarah Ajala, ugh," Sarah started to read but stopped when she couldn't figure out how to pronounce the next word. "Mommy, what's that word?"
Chloe looked to where Sarah was pointing and chuckled.
"It's Ajalafecs," Chloe said. "This is your birth certificate, and Ajalafecs is your middle name."
"Ajalafecs," Sarah repeated, enunciating each syllable with a furrowed brow. "What kind of name is that?"
Beca started laughing.
"We made it up," Beca said.
"I had nothing to do with it," Chloe exclaimed.
"Okay," Beca said, chuckling. "I made it up."
"Why?"
"Because we couldn't decide on what middle name to give you," Chloe said. "So, we had to get creative, and that's what your mama came up with."
"Mama," Sarah said, looking at Beca. "How in the world did you come up with that name?"
"That's a hot cocoa and cookie type story," Beca said, chuckling at Sarah standing with her hands on her hips. "Let's go downstairs, and I'll tell you the story of why your middle name is Ajalafecs."
"Can we do it now?" Sarah asked.
"Don't you want to see what else is in the trunk?" Chloe asked.
"No, thanks," Sarah said. "I want to hear about my middle name and then look at the photo album, if that's okay?"
"That's fine," Chloe said, standing and brushing dust off her jeans. "I'll make the hot cocoa and get the cookies."
"Yay!" Sarah exclaimed.
Beca dropped the lid of the trunk with a thunk, creating another stirring of dust.
"I'll meet you in the living room," Beca said as they started for the steps. "I have to grab something before I come down."
"Okay," Chloe said.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2022 ~~
"Sarah, come with me to the kitchen so you can help with the cocoa and cookies," Chloe said as she made her way to the kitchen. "You can also pick out which cookies you want to leave for Santa."
"Okay, mommy," Sarah said. "Can we leave Santa some hot cocoa, too?"
"Hot cocoa doesn't taste very good once it's cold," Chloe said. "Let's leave him some milk like we usually do."
"Okay," Sarah said as she knelt on the stool at the counter. "I'm giving Santa a stocking cookie, a chocolate chip cookie, and a, um, gingerbread man."
"Excellent selection," Chloe said. "Santa has a good variety to choose from."
"Are you girls ready?" Beca called from the living room.
"Just a minute," Chloe called back. "The hot cocoa isn't quite ready."
Beca set up the chalkboard she had carried downstairs so Chloe and Sarah could see it from the couch. She placed a few pieces of chalk and an eraser on the small shelf and then stood waiting for Chloe and Sarah.
"Hot cocoa is ready," Chloe said, carrying a tray with three mugs of cocoa on them.
"I got our cookies," Sarah said, carrying a plateful of cookies.
"I'll take one of those," Beca said as she took a mug of cocoa and set it on the coffee table in front of where she stood.
"What kind of cookie do you want, mama?" Sarah asked, holding the plate out toward Beca.
"You choose for me," Beca said.
Sarah set the cookies on the coffee table, took two chocolate chip cookies, and placed them next to Beca's cocoa.
"Thanks, sweetie," Beca said. "Why don't you go sit by mommy so I can get started?"
"Okay, mama," Sarah said, sliding the plate of cookies across the table to where she would be sitting.
Chloe set Sarah's cocoa on the table and reached for a cookie.
"I think we're ready," Chloe said, looking at Beca. "Go ahead."
Beca took a bite of a cookie and washed it down with some cocoa. She set the cup down and looked at Sarah.
"Okay," Beca said. "First, I want to say how excited your mommy and I were when we found out she was pregnant with you."
"We weren't the only ones," Chloe said, smiling at Beca.
"You're right," Beca said, smiling as she turned to look at Sarah. "Your grandparents were equally excited once we gave them the news."
"As were your Bella aunts," Chloe added.
"Right again," Beca said.
"Okay, so everybody loved me before I was even born," Sarah said. "I get it. Can we get back to my middle name, please?"
"She is definitely your daughter," Chloe said with a laugh.
Beca glared at Chloe, squinting her eyes as well; Chloe smirked.
"Anyway," Beca said. "We found out you were a girl, and the first thing mommy said was she wanted to name you Sarah after her grandmother. I was fine with that and asked about a middle name. That's where things got, um, heated between us. Mommy wanted to use my grandmother's name as your middle name, but I didn't like the way it sounded."
"What name was it, mama?" Sarah asked.
"Mildred," Beca said, grimacing as if tasting something bad.
Sarah scrunched her nose, saying, "So my name would have been Sarah Mildred Beale-Mitchell? Sorry, mommy, but I don't really like that name."
"Neither did I," Beca said. "That's why we kept trying to figure out whose name we could use. And that's when your aunts got involved."
"What name did they want you to use?" Sarah asked.
"It depended on who you asked," Beca said, chuckling. "Your Aunt Brey came to us first using the best friend card and suggested we use Aubrey. I vetoed that one immediately."
"Why?" Sarah asked.
"Because your mama and Aunt Brey didn't get along very well when we were all Bellas together," Chloe said. "So, there was no way she was going to accept using her name."
"And I didn't like the way Sarah Aubrey Beale-Mitchell sounded," Beca added. "Your mommy argued with me for a week before she finally gave up because she knew I wasn't going to budge on it. After that, the rest of the Bellas threw their names into the mix. We couldn't pick just one because that would have caused a big fight with everyone. So, we decided we'd use them all."
Beca picked up the chalk and turned to the chalkboard.
"So, we started with your name," Beca said and wrote Sarah at the top of the board. "Then, there was Aubrey, Jessica, Ashley, Lily, Amy, Flo, Emily, Cynthia, and Stacie."
"Are you saying I was going to be named," Sarah took a deep breath, "Sarah Aubrey Jessica Ashley Lily Amy Flo Emily Cynthia Stacie Beale-Mitchell?"
Beca laughed when Sarah finished.
"Yes, but besides the fact that it was a lot of names for someone as tiny as you," Beca said. "We couldn't fit them all on your birth certificate."
"She means the people down at the Records office wouldn't allow us to give you nine middle names."
"That's true," Beca said. "And, once they told us that, I decided we should shorten it."
"Okay," Sarah said, looking at the names on the board. "But I still don't see how you got Ajalafecs for my middle name."
"Hold on, I'm almost there," Beca took the eraser and erased everything but the first initial of all the Bellas' names from the board so that all that was left were the letters AJALAFECS. "Do you see it now?"
"Oh," Sarah said with a big grin. "I still have all nine of my Bella aunt's names, only not their full names."
"Exactly," Beca said. "And, if you want to change it when you're older, we'll support you."
"I think I'll keep it," Sarah said. "I like it, and I'm pretty sure that no one else in the world has the same middle name as me."
"I'm sure you're right about that," Chloe said. "Come on. It's getting late, and we still have to set out the cookies and milk for Santa."
"Okay," Sarah said, running over to Beca. "Thank you for my middle name, mama. I really do like it."
Beca hugged Sarah and kissed the top of her head. "You're welcome, sweetie. Now, let's get you to bed so you'll be asleep when Santa comes."
"I have to help mommy put out the cookies and milk for Santa," Sarah said, rushing toward the kitchen.
"Make sure you put chocolate chip cookies on the plate," Beca said, following Sarah to the kitchen. "I have it on very good authority that Santa loves chocolate chip cookies."
"I know," Sarah said, rolling her eyes. "You remind me every year."
"Here are the cookies," Chloe said, handing the plate to Sarah. "Beca, will you take the milk?"
"Sure," Beca said, taking the glass.
The small family walked out of the kitchen. Sarah walked straight over to the designated "Santa's Cookie" table and set the plate down. Beca set the milk next to the cookies and looked at Sarah.
"Let's get you to bed so Santa can come."
"We'll both tuck you in," Chloe said. "And I'll read you theNight Before Christmas."
"I, Sarah Ajalafecs Beale-Mitchell, approve of that idea," Sarah said as she took both Chloe and Beca's hands and led them up to her room.

25 Days of BeChloe Christmases 2022
Day 10 - Blue Christmas [Part 1]
Author's prompt: Chloe's a combat field surgeon assigned to a mobile surgical hospital in Iraq. Just before Christmas, Beca gets some devastating news. Is Christmas ruined, or will devastation turn into a celebration? This one's a bit angsty (I'm sorry in advance for those who may need a tissue). You can't say I didn't warn you.
Captain Chloe Beale, a combat field surgeon, was resting in her tent when the siren suddenly sounded, and "INCOMING!" screeched over the speakers in the mobile surgical hospital compound. Everyone knew that the U.S. had been losing ground for the past few weeks, so it wasn't surprising to anyone that the battle had reached them.
At the first sound of the siren, personnel began running to their posts to await the injured. Dr. Beale exited her tent and ran to the main entrance of the compound, and stood waiting for the transport trucks to arrive.
An explosion could be heard; it sounded close. Another explosion sounded almost immediately after the first and was much closer.
Chloe didn't flinch anymore; the bombs had been going on around them for days, and she was nearly immune to them now.
"Those bombs are getting too damned close," Dr. Chloe Beale muttered as another truck careened into the compound.
She ran over and jumped in the back to begin triage on the wounded. An explosion sounded, again closer than the last.
"Too damned close," she muttered and then turned to yell out the back, "Take this one straight to the operating tent."
"Yes, ma'am," a soldier said as he and another soldier climbed inside and did as ordered.
After the patient was removed, Chloe moved on to the next. The next thing she knew, bombs were exploding all around, and everything went black.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases ~~
Beca Mitchell-Beale was enjoying a nice leisurely lunch at her Malibu home with her good friends, Jessica and Ashley.
"Have you heard from Chloe lately?" Ashley asked as they sat on the back deck looking out over the ocean.
"Not for a while," Beca said, gently rubbing her belly. "She's been gone for six months, and I've only had a chance to speak with her four times since she was assigned to the mobile surgical unit in Iraq. I was hoping she'd be here by the time this one was born, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen."
"Or maybe she's on her way home to surprise you for Christmas," Jessica said, smiling. "It's only two weeks away."
"I wish," Beca said. "I know if she were on her way home, she'd find a way to let me know. If she hasn't called, something's happened."
Jessica and Ashley shared a look. They both knew Beca was right but silently prayed that she was wrong.
"Maybe you could call Aubrey and see if she has spoken to her father," Jessica suggested. "Chloe and General Posen are stationed together, aren't they?"
Beca shook her head. "Not since Chloe was assigned to the surgical unit. Plus, Aubrey said her dad was back in DC, working at the Pentagon."
"But Aubrey could find out something about Chloe through her father, right?" Ashley asked.
Unbeknownst to Beca, as she and her friends continued their conversation, Aubrey was outside Beca's front door with her father. General Posen had called Aubrey to inform her that something happened to Chloe and said he was going to inform Beca personally of the situation. Aubrey insisted her father let her accompany him when he spoke to Beca.
General Posen arrived in LA earlier that afternoon; Aubrey picked him up from the airport and drove straight to Beca's house in Malibu.
The father and daughter stood quietly on the porch. Aubrey sighed and looked at her father; at his nod, she rang the doorbell. Aubrey could hear it echoing through the house.
Beca stood, saying 'excuse me' to Jessica and Ashley. Beca made her way inside and blanched as soon as she opened the door and saw who was standing there.
"General Posen?" Beca said. "What's happened? Is Chloe okay?"
"May we come in?" Aubrey asked.
Beca stepped aside and opened the door wide to allow Aubrey and General Posen to enter.
Aubrey grabbed Beca to her, whispering, "Something has happened, but we don't know exactly what yet."
Aubrey stood holding Beca, trying to keep her tears at bay.

Jessica and Ashley were beginning to worry about Beca as she had been gone for more than a few minutes.
"Maybe we should go check on her," Ashley said.
Jessica nodded, and she and Ashley went inside to find Beca. They stopped short when they saw Aubrey holding Beca. They both gasped when they saw General Posen standing by the door.
"Oh, no," Jessica mumbled as tears came to her eyes.
Ashley grabbed her hand, giving it a squeeze. Aubrey pulled back from Beca and wiped her face.
"Let's sit down," Aubrey said.
Jessica and Ashley stood where they were, not sure of what was happening or what they should do.
Seeing their uncertainty, Aubrey said, "Jessica, Ashley, we're all friends here. If it's okay with Beca, you two should join us. "
"Please," Beca said, sagging in Aubrey's arms.
Aubrey managed to keep Beca from falling to the floor. Jessica ran over to help Aubrey, and the two of them got Beca to the sofa. Once Beca was settled comfortably, the two sat on either side of her. Ashley joined them and sat in the chair at the end of the sofa nearest Jessica; General Posen sat in the chair nearest Aubrey.
Beca was sitting with her hands covering her face.
"Beca," Aubrey said, getting Beca's attention. "My dad is going to explain what they know so far. Dad?"
"Beca," General Posen said, clearing his throat. "One week ago, there was a major incident, and Captain Beale's surgical unit was bombed. We don't know the status of our people yet, as we have been unable to communicate with anyone in the unit. There is a large presence of Iraqi troops in the area, and we are also unable to get our ground troops close enough to determine if the compound has been taken over, although we believe it has. We sent in air surveillance, but they were shot down before they reached the location."
"Are they okay?" Beca asked. "The ones shot down?"
"Yes," General Posen responded. "We were able to evacuate them fairly quickly."
"So, um, are you saying that Chloe is missing?"
"That is our presumption," General Posen said. "Without air surveillance, we do not know what condition the mobile surgical compound is in. We have opened a line of communication with the Iraqis, hoping to get some intel on what happened to Chloe and the others. So far, we haven't received anything useful from them. I don't want to alarm you, but you should prepare yourself for the worst and hope for the best."
Beca sobbed and grabbed Aubrey and Jessica's hands. Jessica put her free arm around Beca and gently rubbed her back.
"I'm sorry, Beca," General Posen said. "I wish I had more information to give you."
"Um," Beca said, sniffling as tears ran down her face. "Could Chloe, um, have been captured?"
"That is a likely scenario," General Posen replied.
Beca's vision was blurred as more tears came to her eyes. She looked up to the ceiling, blinking rapidly to keep the tears from falling. She was a soldier's wife, after all. Once they learned Beca was pregnant, Chloe made Beca promise that no matter what happened to Chloe, she would remain strong for their child. She wasn't sure she was going to be able to keep that promise.
Beca sniffled, using her shoulder to wipe what tears she could while still maintaining a hold on Aubrey and Jessica's hands. They were the only thing keeping her grounded.
"Wh-what," Beca cleared her throat. "What will they, um, do to the prisoners?"
General Posen shared a look with Aubrey.
"Just tell her," Aubrey said.
General Posen nodded as he looked at Beca and said, "I'm not going to lie, Beca. Prisoners don't usually fare well. Especially women prisoners."
"Oh, god," Beca cried, bowing her head.
"I'm so sorry, Beca," General Posen said. "I wish I had better answers for you."
"It's fine, General," Beca said. "I appreciate your honesty. Thank you for that."
Beca stood, releasing Aubrey and Jessica's hands. "I'm kind of tired. I think I'm going to go lie down for a while."
"Do you want one of us to go with you?" Ashley asked as she, Jessica, and Aubrey stood.
"No thanks," Beca said. "I'll be fine."
"Is there anything we can do for you?" Aubrey asked.
"Could you call Stacie and ask her to come over?" Beca said.
"I can do that," Aubrey said. "Do you want me to tell or about Chloe? Or do you want to tell her yourself?"
"Would you mind telling her?" Beca said. "She's going to have a lot of questions, and I don't think I'm up to answering them."
"No problem," Aubrey said. "If it's okay with you, I'd like to stay for a while."
"We'd like to stay, too," Jessica said as Ashley nodded in agreement.
"It's fine," Beca said, turning toward the stairs. "Help yourself to anything you want."
"Holler if you need anything," Ashley called after her.
They all watched until Beca was no longer in sight.
"What now?" Jessica asked.
"I'm going to call Stacie," Aubrey responded, running a hand through her hair. "After that, I don't know."
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases ~~
The bedroom door opening, admitting a shaft of light directly on her face, woke Beca.
"Chloe?" she mumbled as she sat up.
"Sorry, sweetie, it's me," a voice Beca recognized as her cousin, Stacie, said. "You've been asleep for a while, so I came to check on you."
"What time is it?" Beca asked.
"Just after eight," Stacie said, climbing onto the bed and wrapping her arms around Beca.
Beca let out a sob. "I can't do this without her, Stace."
"I know," Stacie murmured. "But, let's think positive thoughts, okay?"
"I want to," Beca cried. "But every time I think about what she might be going through, I just. I can't. God, Stacie, what am I going to do if she doesn't-. I'm not supposed to do this alone. She promised we'd do this together. And now."
Beca covered her mouth, trying to hold in her sobs.
"You're not alone, Beca," Stacie said. "You have me. And Aubrey, Jessica, Ashley, and Emily. There are so many of us who love you and will be there for you. And the baby."
"We're having a boy," Beca said, trying to calm herself down. "I haven't told anyone because Chloe doesn't know yet. When I found out about the baby's sex, she said not to tell her so she would be surprised. Now, our son will grow up never knowing how much she loved and wanted him."
"Yes, he will," Stacie said, letting her own tears fall. "He'll have us to tell him all about her."
"Did Aubrey leave?" Beca asked.
"No, she's still here," Stacie said. "So are Jessica, Ashley, and General Posen. They wanted to make sure you were okay. I could go down and tell them you are, but I think they'd like to see you for themselves."
"Okay," Beca said. "I'm going to splash some water on my face, and I'll be right down."
"I'll give you ten minutes," Stacie said, letting Beca go and getting off the bed. "If you're not down there by then, I'm going to send Posen up to get you."
Stacie left, and Beca sat on the side of the bed for a few minutes before going to the ensuite and splashing water on her face. She grabbed a towel to dry her face. She stiffened when she saw herself in the mirror. The tears didn't seem to want to stop.
"God, Chloe," Beca whispered. "What am I going to do? How am I supposed to raise Dylan without you? " Beca leaned on the sink and lowered her head. She worried her lip before lifting her head and looking in the mirror again. "I know you don't know it, but we're having a son, and his name will be Dylan." Beca sniffled and used the towel to wipe her tears; another sob escaped. "Where are you, Chloe? Give me a sign to let me know that you're out there somewhere. Give me some hope that you're coming back to me."
Beca jumped, and another small sob escaped when there was a soft tap at the door. She turned to stare at the door, half expecting it to open with Chloe standing on the other side.
"Beca?" Aubrey's voice came through the door. "Is everything okay in there?"
Beca let out the breath she hadn't realized she had been holding.
"I'll be right out," Beca said.
~~ 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases ~~
Two weeks later, Beca was no closer to knowing what happened to Chloe than she was the day she learned Chloe was missing. Stacie, Jessica, Ashley, Aubrey, and Beca's cousin Emily, took turns ensuring she wasn't alone. They were all worried about Beca and her baby, so they made sure Beca ate, slept, and made it to her doctor's appointments.
It was Christmas Eve, and they were all gathered around Beca's living room when Aubrey's phone rang. When she saw a number she didn't recognize on her caller ID, she excused herself and went to the kitchen to take the call.
"Hello?"
"Aubrey, are you with Beca right now?" General Posen's voice came through the phone.
"Yes," Aubrey said. "What's going on, dad?"
"I need you to give Beca your phone," General Posen said. "There's someone here who really wants to talk to her."
"Oh, my God!" Aubrey screamed.
In the living room, the girls all jerked around in surprise when they heard Aubrey scream.
"What the hell?" Stacie said and made to head for the kitchen.
Stacie hadn't made it two steps when Aubrey came bursting through the door.
"Beca! Beca!" Aubrey yelled as she ran into the living room, holding out her phone.
"What's wrong?" Beca asked as Aubrey stopped in front of her.
"Take it," Aubrey said as tears ran down her face. "It's for you."
Beca looked around as she hesitantly reached for Aubrey's phone. Her hand shook as she put the phone to her ear.
"Hello?" Beca said, her voice trembling.
"Hey, baby."
A/N: Yes, I am that bitch. If you read the title, you will note that it says Part 1; Part 2 will be posted tomorrow and will be more fluff than angst, I promise.
