Given how utterly stoic and immovable botw link is, I imagine totk will go much the same way in terms of his animation and idles. But wouldn't it be the funniest thing if, in a single cutscene, they just went all in for no reason.

Link just stands there like you'd expect for all of two seconds before his eyes refocus and he flips his hair over his shoulder and sighs. Pulls out his slate and start fiddling with it in the middle of a plot important conversation. Plucks an apple from nowhere and just goes to town. Twirls his hair around his long talons and sticks his tongue out behind someone's back.

Just something completely out of character for no given reason.

They gesture and fumble and look around! #Link never so much as thins his lips #Or scowls #There is that final scene in age of calamity when they go all in and make a Full Expression and it looks really jarring lol #Even then they didn't quite convey any emotion especially because he went right back to Behaving after #Seriously for such a brimming game it's kinda eerie just how little he emotes #All the other links got so much more! #Oot link yelped and covered his face and fell over and glared #Tp link scowled and smiled and nodded and had his evil little smirk when midna was sassing their enemies and tried to bite people's faces #Wind waker link didn't look calm for a minute! #And then botw link.....
